"Grateful that their response was quick and professional, answering my online application within a few days. Their comparison quotes online were easy to read and compare. The representatives were professional, kind and helpful over the phone. I would recommend this way of insurance shopping to my family and friends."
"Was given much bad information. I was told the last day to sign up was December 31. I had to inform the representative that the deadline was December 15. Was also told if my doctors were not covered I could contact Aon and they would offer more plans. This is a Lie. After over 4 hours on the phone with representatives was connected to Nathan Teater. He was a savior. He took the time and answered all my
questions. He is the only rep that didn't lie to me."
"This was about the 10th person I spoke with to help me figure out what was needed. Andy stayed right with me and even called me back when I needed to take another call. We needed to redo the application due to a typo and he cleared out the first application so we could start over. I was really upset (not at him or another agent but trying to find the information I needed) when I first started to work with him, but he walked me through everything. Very knowledgeable and articulate and I had a big sigh of relief when we were done.

"nice job today E-Health. The application process went thru pretty smoothly without any glitches"
"Had some application issues and called the help line. Quick to answer and they did all they could to correct the problem with the health insurance company. (not a problem with eHealth, just to be clear)
Very helpful!!"
"No one should have to spend 3-5 hours applying for a health plan when they have paid for coverage most of their adult life! Working hard does not pay off! People who do less, get more through a broken system. I should not have had to do all the work comparing prices when I've paid between as much as $520 per month for medical coverage. Shame on you, and shame on America for making this so difficult! Whatever happen to an agent you can sit do with who is willing to get you the best coverage! "
"The application process was okay but I still don't think we are getting our moneys worth. A bronze plan should not cost $350 dollars a month for one person is good health. $350 to $400 should at least make a person eligible for a low end silver plan. Plus, I also feel that there weren't enough option given to modify a plan if needed."
"Many thanks for making the process easy to understand. When I called for advice/help the agent was friendly and very helpful. 5 stars and many thanks."
"Additional detail re: auto payment is needed up front....other than that pretty clean process..."
"the whole process was easy and quick to use !! thanks eHealth! "
"If your retired and non medical eligible there isn't any plans that afford you coverage other than your home state thus making travel and staying at vacation home stressful since you do not have coverage"
"only HMO's available, did not include any of my doctors I have had for 40 years but because my pension decide to broker through you I'm forced to pick a coverage that does nothing for me"
"For me, living in a county in which a major city is located, there were 12 health plans offered through 2 insurers. One was insurer I had never heard of. I tried entering other county zip codes and discovered that options ranged from no insurers to 29 insurers depending on the county. It also seemed that the affluence of the county yielded additional options from which OP&F retirees could select coverage. Even for our county, there was a major university research hospital that is not in network for any of the plans offered. I was referred there by a cardiologist of a competing hospital 5 years ago that resulted in a surgery that no one else in the world was performing.
Aon and eHealth staff were helpful with answers when I called with questions. I hope that the insurer product is as good as they were but hope that other insurers offer their products to OP&F retirees."
"I had to deal with this triple application process due to Ohio Police and Fire Retirement mismanagement of our insurance. Three times application for health, dental and vision but I guess three companies need their own information and cannot draw from eHealth data. Davis Vision charges an application fee and forces me to join an "association" for $12 a year. What is my benefit? Is there a club or swimming pool?"
"On my browser the font was very small. I could enlarge it, but it should default to a big image. Safari 12.0.1. Also I would have expected accident insurance to have been offered. The few plans that you do offer for accident are kind of thin."
"The whole transition for me has been awful. The platform is terrible as I had problems such as my **** was listed incorrectly and it would not allow me to edit it. I had to delete my application and start over. In one of the supplimental add ons I selected, it notified me of a an additional monthly fee but there was no explanation or indication of the cost per month. It was only at check out that it explained the additional fee. The plans provided for me from Ohio Police and Fire and AON were limited to two providers neither of which my family doctor nor cardiologist were covered by, so I now have to change both doctors. A lifetime of service to my community as a police officer and this is how we are taken care of. Absolutely disgusting."
