"Like others, I have touted their service for years; even though there was a monthly subscription, I found it was worth it, as all my dealings were seamless (I said WERE/used to be).
Ever since the Stamps.com merge, they have gone from a 4/5 star rating to ZERO. They CHEAT on your billing with "funny math" (I had to dispute TWICE with my bank), have serious tech issues with some features that are supposed to make transaction easier (like the scan forms always glitching) AND their customer service STINKS - templated responses to your online messaging, only to advise that YOU CALL THEM, which results in LONG hold times and multiple attempts to get someone who knows what they're doing.
I have since switched to a FREE service (check out all the competitors, there are MORE now than before) whose postage and insurance rates are LOWER. So why stick with these goons?!?"
"I closed my account back in 2020 and was told that a Check would be sent to refund my balance. Called again in January of 2021, told the same thing. Called a third time and was then told that my refund request had been cancelled for unknown reasons, but that they would submit a new refund request that would now have the funds go back to my credit card. Now, here it is 9 months later and I still have yet to receive my refund. Had to call again and was told that the refund was processed incorrectly and so they had to resubmit. This has been the most ridiculous situation I have ever been in when closing an account. In addition, I sent several emails to their Customer Support, but each time it was a form letter that said the same thing and no one actually responds with details (because they don't want to put anything in writing that they would have to follow through on). I would not recommend this company or any online shipping company for that matter as I am also struggling with another one that I gave a try after Endicia. "
"I have never, ever heard of this company. I saw a charge on my credit card (I have only ever used this card when getting car repairs) on a day that i didn't even leave my house. Thankfully, my bank is amazing and flagged their fraudulent butts immediately. I haven't seen anything about them, other than other people having fraudulent charges on their account. Keep an eye on your bank accounts, folks, cause dirtbags like this exist everywhere."
"Woke up to a $90 charge on my account. I have never had an account with Endicia and not signed up for services with Stamps.com or other partners. Called and they labeled it fraud, but would not reverse the charge. Had to cancel my debit card and all the hassles associated with giving new card number to needed merchants. "
"TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE
that’s all I have to say. First off, you can’t purchase less than $15 of credit at a time so if this is a one time use type of thing then by no means try this.
I printed one damn label...worth $5, and they charged me for the next 2 months $20 a month for a mandatory plan Then refused any kind of refund
Customer support is a joke, this company **** I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy "
"Couldn't cancel label and get a refund they took 2 days to respond with a message "Our monthly fee's are $9.95" WTF is that for an answer???? Yelled at them for a fix, waste of time wrote it off.........
"Invalid Originating Zip" I know that the post office hasn't deleted our zip code? 2 hours reloading rebooting called tech support ...36 minutes now and still holding. Missed window for time sensitive material.
Just a couple of issues that have SHUT MY BUSINESS Down trying to send a lousy small package, constant issues, their updates are a joke and always flawed.
If anyone knows of a better system please let me know, licking stamps is better than this junk.
Now 45 minutes and counting
They ask about a pricing rating?.... based on their product and service its extremely high priced for what you get.
"
"It took us forever to get our account closed... then they would not stop emailing us after making over a dozen request for over a month. I am still getting emails from them. They are as incompetent as they come. You do NOT want to deal with this company. They have zero customer service and should not even be in business."
"I closed my account which had nearly a $200 credit balance and they have promised a refund but have not honored it. They told me within 6 weeks I would receive it, I waited 8 weeks, then contacted them again. They gave me the run around so I submitted a complaint on BBB, I was promised that they sent a check and now over a week later, there is still no reimbursement. "
"After the migration to NetStamps, I am unable to print stamps anymore. The system does not recognize the serial number for the stamps that I received from Endicia and the scale auto function no longer works.
Technical Support does not reply to my request for help."
"Any payment method issues and they will shut your business down. We use a credit card rather than give them bank account access. If the card expires, they will shut your business access down entirely, requiring a phone call to reset, rather than simply allowing you to update your payment method. If your warehouse operations run past business hours....you're screwed."
"No matter how negative the other reviews are on this page, they are not negative enough. I am on one hour on hold waiting for help with their crappy software that constantly loses the connection to the scale. Walk to the post office, find another company, or buy stamps at the store but stay away from this indifferent, unhelpful, crappy company that takes my money but fails to deliver any of the services that I pay for. SIMPLY THE VERY WORST OF THE WORST. EMBARASSINGLY BAD, USELESS, TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!"
"I have been using Endicia with our BigCommerce site since August. I would not recommend them. The customer service is very slow and the website is very glitchy. I suggest finding alternatives if possible. "
"First, they tricked everyone to switch from DYMO to Endicia, making it seem as DYMO would no longer be supporting our stamp needs. Then they try to charge you a monthly fee of $17.99 for a postage license, to be able to print postage. Yeah right! No one needs a postage license to print postage. So I immediately canceled my account, and they stated they would refund me the first $17.99. I wasn't paying close enough attention, and 3 months later, they are still charging me. My fault for not getting any confirmation number. Then, when I try to call in again, I am put on eternal hold; 50 minutes later, I hung up. I had to file disputes through my bank and stop payments on any further transactions. Do NOT switch from DYMO to Endicia. DYMO still works fine. I pay for a stamp and print it when I need to. No $17.99 monthly postage license needed! Endicia needs to be investigated and shut down! Do NOT use Endicia! They are SCAMMERS!"
"Used to print on DymoStamps. Couldn't be simpler. Put money in account, print 1 or 100 stamps as needed. Stamp rolls were available from 3rd parties at 1/2 price.
Then the service was canceled and switched to this. Flashy website, but when it comes down to it, there's no substance.
1- Tried to sign up. After entry of name and address, they want credit card info. Why? Who knows. The user agreement is pages of legal jargon that doesn't say if you're signing up for a subscription service or prepay.
2- Left a inquiry with customer service. That was a month ago!
3- Bought a roll of their NEW stamps at $18. They now have serial numbers! Tried to enter on website, but serial# is 10 digits, website takes only 9. Duh! DId some digging and looks like it needs the first 6 digits. Tried that- still won't take. Double duh!!
I realized for all the time I'd wasted, I could've gone down to PO, bought a roll of forever stamps, and still saved money. This is convenience?"
"If I could give zero stars I would. Trying to get in touch with Endicia's customer service or technical support is like getting lost in a black hole. They're quick to answer the phone for a potential sale, but forget it if you need help logging in or want to cancel your account. After 3 hours of being on hold and getting transferred around, I got someone to say that my account was cancelled, but lo and behold, three months later, I'm getting a monthly charge on my credit card. I wound up disputing the charge with my credit company. Don't do business with Endicia!!!"
