"This was a gift for my son, an empty light stained tea chest. It was purchased to help organize a kitchen cupboard. When he opened it on his birthday, it was full of teas! He says the teas are very good and he likes the chest, but it is not currently being used for what it was purchased for!"

"The English Tea store looks and sounds good, but the customer care and what you actually get is terrible. There manner of doing business is not right. First of all they sell you products, which are not in stock, when they should not be selling them, if they are not in stock. They often get things wrong on the order, like I asked for three items and they only sent one, but charged me for three. They also process the charge for the order way after you place it, which can cause problems with your account. As if that were not bad enough, they took forever to ship the items after promising they would ship them on Monday, the items I purchased for my BF were not sent until much later in the week, and so did not get there on time for his Birthday. I will never order from them again after my first and last experience with the English Tea Store.

Re: The English Tea Store. First of all when someone from customer service tells me that my order will be shipped on "Monday" I expect to have it shipped then, and I am not going to pay for expedited shipping when I purchased the item ahead of time in order to have it there on time.You are the ones who are at fault for not shipping it on time, when you said you would. Secondly, if I order something I expect you to fulfill your sales contact and have it in stock, and I expect you to get my order right when I paid for something specific.You did not fulfill your end of the bargain, so don't tell me to pay for faster shipping and that I agreed to substitute, I agreed to get what I paid for and you failed to give that to me. You took two weeks from the time I placed my order to ship the item, that is not the mark of an efficient business at all.

"One of the worst online shopping experience: placed my order for more than $75, they shipped them after 6 business days (March 11), I called them several times and they said processing and kept me waiting for so long. Their staff called me on March 4 about 2 items out of stock, I said just ship the rest and don't wait, then they took 6 business days to pack the stuff.
