"The two biggest selling points w. the English Tea store for me are: 1) they indicate the origin of the product (it is a must for me and I often avoid any purchases w. other websites, if the country of origin is "camouflaged"; 2) reviews on the website: I can instantly see pros and cons of a product and make my educated decisions. Again, if it takes too much time (on other websites) to figure obvious things out and if it feels like we're getting "fooled", it doesn't worth the time altogether. Enjoying the experience w. ETS so far.

"My recent order of Earl Grey tea is nothing like the previous orders I have gotten from them. My old tin contained large bags with 0.1 oz apiece, total net wt of 2.5 oz. The new pouch contains tiny bags w/total net wt. of 52.5 grams (i.e., 1.851883 oz). The web site description had claimed I would be receiving 2.75 oz of tea. This is false and deceptive advertising. The tea is not as tasty as it used to be, either. Furthermore, they charged me $7.95 shipping to place my order in a plastic mailing envelope -- ridiculous. I am very displeased with this last order.
Update after talking with Customer Service: Wow, those guys are great! They offered to either give me a refund, or send me out a tin of the Earl Grey at no cost. And they are going to adjust the descriptions on their web site to reflect the new reality of the tea in the pouches. Great customer service totally makes up for any glitches in the system. Adjusting my rating accordingly!!!"
"I thought the English breakfast tea was wonderfull. The cut was smaller than I expected which created a lot of small grind sitting in the tea after the infusior was removed. The last of the cup was un-drinkable as to the bitterness. Made a great cup of tea otherwise. "
