"I ordered a saddle pad and it didn't fit, so I returned it. I read their return policy beforehand - "We realize that horse blankets can be difficult to fit, so we allow you to try the blanket on your horse and return it if it does not fit. However, we ask that the blanket be kept CLEAN while you are trying it. Dirty, soiled blankets, or blankets that do not have original tags attached, cannot be returned." I was charged a restocking fee for returning a "dirty and soiled" item. It was in pristine condition, tags still on. I asked them to check to be sure and send me pictures. They sent pictures of a very dirty saddle pad that didn't even look like the one I ordered. They would not even consider that they may have gotten my order mixed up with another. They would not refund the $8 and lost a customer for that price. I would NOT recommend ordering anything from them."

"I want to give this company credit where it's due. I ordered a very hard to find bit from them. It was reasonably priced, though shipping seemed a little high. The bit arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the port size on the bit I ordered was different from what I received. I contacted them about this and they replied within a day, requesting a photo of both the bit and the packaging. I provided photos and received a full refund, no questions asked, two days later. While I wish I'd received the correct item to begin with, I also believe we can tell a lot about a company by how they behave when things go sideways. They did well in that regard. "

"did online order about 1am 19september (tuesday night/wednesday morning)
get confirm email saying that they have fabulous customer service HAHAHAHA
it is now Friday night and order still shows that warehouse is getting items together for shipping.
we are talking about -3- small items. ok- 3 days of them not doing anything and since they only show Monday-Friday 9-5 hours that means that saturday and sunday are another 2 days of nothing getting done.
i check my PayPal account and find that on the first day they removed and refunded 1 of the 3 items i had ordered. i was never notified of cancellation or refund and since i am paying almost $9 in shipping i had ordered the 3rd item to make it a less horrible fee.
so here i am…..i should have read the reviews first.
if there could be a way to be zero stars or negative stars that would me even more meaningful.

" Warm weather and flies came early this spring and caught me unprepared. Can't find fly masks for my mini horses locally so I rush ordered from this website. They appeared to have a great selection. Two weeks later masks hadn't arrived. I went to the shipment tracking link. It said Fed Ex ticket was created, but there was no additional info showing where package was. I called Customer Service. She explained Fed Ex must have missed picking it up and said they would rush ship my order. A week later no package, and no tracking info on the "rush". It is now three weeks the little darlings have been without fly masks. Called Customer Service again. Sat on hold for ten minutes while a recording told me I was #1 in line. Then a recorded voice tells me "no one is available to take your call, please leave a message". I would have ordered elsewhere had I known they wouldn't ship in the 3-5 days promised. I was drug along each time with a promise they were on their way. So I email "customer service" instructing them to cancel my order and to refund my money. I get an email back saying they were sorry and would ship my order in 3 - 5 days. This company is an internet sham. Don't be mislead by their fancy website, and extensive list of products they carry. "

"I placed and order ten days ago and still hadnt received a shipping notice even though i paid an extra $30 for three day shipping. When i called the employee was not willing to help me at all. Her attitude was I take it or leave it. She stated the order wouldnt ship for another 3-5 days even though it was placed ten days ago. I asked why dont you state that paying extra does not mean you will get it in 3-5 days and she stated they had to wait until the items arrive from the manufacturer. I asked her if they stock anything and she stated they came from manufacturer so even though i pay extra for shipping the will not come in 3-5 days. I stated that i bought this for a birthday present in three days and asked if there was anything that could be done. her answer was if i didnt want to wait then cancel it. That is not helping me out. If i knew ahead of time that they regularly lie about shipping I would have gone some place else. So now i have to make a two hour drive to the closest equine center to get the gift. The worst part was the employee could have cared less. I own a hotel. If a guest has an issue i make it my issue to solve. Not take it or leave it."

Almost impossible to contact them. they responded to an email with a response that was scripted and didn't respond to my actual questions. Cant get through to a person. they also do not pay for return shipping and expect you to pay that AND shipping on an exchange, plus the original shipping!! Will not ever shop with them again."
"When I went to checkout, I was told I would receive free shipping through a link that took me straight to the website. Well I had to pay almost $9 in shipping for a $13 flymask. (I'm not international)
Then I get an email (A WEEK AFTER I GET MY ORDER CONFIRMATION) that says my order is just now getting shipped. I was hoping to have it by this weekend to replace my current fly mask that is falling apart. Looks like no matter if you order weeks in advance you can't win. "Ordered 1 item but I forgot to list my apartment # so it was sent back to them. I have tried calling numerous times, get put on hold, am told I'm the #1 caller in line waiting, reach the END OF THE AUTOMATED hold, and it claims they are closed for the day!!! I'm most certainly calling during business hours during the weekday. Just sent an email and doubt I'll get a response before having to sent multiple after in order to finally get the 1 thing I wanted and have already paid for. Will not be buying from them ever again. They leave you in the dark. And they take forever to ship something out to you anyways. Don't bother. Plus their prices aren't usually the lowest anyways. Riding Warehouse is MUCH better. "I ordered several pairs of Irideon Breeches at a great sale price. The order was acknowledged and then, after a fairly long delay of 2 1/2 weeks, and after leaving a phone message with Customer Service, I got an email stating it had shipped! No mention of any unavailable items and my credit card was charged for all items on the first day I ordered. When I got the order, only half of it was there. I looked on the website and the items I ordered WERE STILL THERE BUT AT DOUBLE THE PRICE! (identical product numbers.) When I contacted Customer Service, they said that they "had depleted their old stock and now the item was in fact a new item, and the item I ordered was unavailable. But I could order the new item at full price!!! Just for kicks, I had a friend order one "new item". It was identical down to the tags, labels, packaging and stitching on one product that they had sent me. Screams BAIT AND SWITCH!!!
To add insult to injury, I had applied a coupon for $10 off my original order. When my refunds for the "unavailable" items came thru on my credit card, they had applied the $10 to ALL the items, even the unavailable items. Even though the items they did send still totaled the minimum amount for the full discount to apply, they reduced my discount. So although I was still entitled to the full discount of $10, my remaining items were only discounted $6.!!! This is very similar to tactics of HorseLoverz.com, and lo and behold, it appears that all the items ship from the very same warehouse under the control of CHOICE BRANDS EQUESTRIAN.
Will never shop at Equestrian Collections again and everyone would be well advised to STEER CLEAR!!!! "
"Like most of the other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with Equestrian Collections. They sent a hat that was too small and said that they would "let me" exchange it but that I would have to pay return shipping AND shipping for the replacement hat. Then, they checked and said that they didn't even have the hat in the next size up and that there was nothing they could do for me, other than "letting" me pay to return the hat for a refund of the cost (but not the original shipping). Worst customer service I've experienced. I only wish I had read the other reviews before placing my first, and last, order!!! I would never shop with them again."
"Placed an order with Equestrian Collection a week ago; order status has never been received and when I log in to my account on the website there is no status update. My credit card was charged immediately. I have tried to contact customer service several times with no response. Now I just want to cancel this order, knowing I'll fight to get my money back. I will go back to ordering from tried and true companies who value their customers. "
