"After missing the first attempt of the three attempts for a signature required delivery, I took a day off the next day waiting for the delivery at home. The driver never showed up, but the tracking showed that he attempted, but nobody was home. There was also no door tag left on the door proving that the driver never showed up. This not only happened once but multiple times and to my neighbors also. Their drivers are liars. And everything they showed up , they would make a trench on my lawn. Now I would not even buy from any online stores that use Fedex as their delivery service."
"Bought an item on Amazon, payed $9.98 for one day delivery. Tracking says it was delivered but I know it was not. Contacted Fedex and was basically treated like an idiot, trying to convince me that it was delivered to my house. They say they'll investigate what happened but I have no confidence in them. Lesson learned I guess."
"I shipped the same bicycle case (two different bicycles weighing a difference of 3 lbs) in opposite directions across the country two weeks apart. The first shipment charged $77. The reverse shipment $177. After several phone calls and a 2-page letter, FedEx blew me off by claiming the second shipment was by a "consolidator" and they were not responsible for the overcharge. I found the "consolidator" on the FedEx web site and the building had a huge FedEx banner hanging on it. The bottom line is you cannot have any confidence in the FedEx shipping tables as their "agents" can charge whatever they think they can get away with."
"I placed an order from Walmart, to be shipped by FedEx. After 6 days, I inquired about the status, and was told that FedEx delivered the package and left it at my front door. I live in a remote area, and there are three houses on this road. One is mine, one is my Dad, and the other is a neighbor. The package was not left at any of these locations. Both Walmart and FedEx were very apologetic, but that still doesn't get me the items in the package that I ordered and needed. I was home the entire time the package was supposedly being delivered, and no one from FedEx came by. Furthermore, FedEx has delivered here before, so they can't say that we are not "On the grid". The US Postal Service has always been able to find me, as has UPS. No excuse. My money was refunded, but I needed the items, not the money."
"Man, I cannot tell you how mad I am ! And disappointed with FedEx! Everyone, let us stay away from them and go to all other
carriers! Believe me, this is my real name!
Their delivery not responsible, customer service crap, always find excuses, and every time you call in, they give you all different excuses!"
"Once again I have spent an entire day waiting for these incompetents to deliver my package. No more. This is the second time in as many deliveries as they have done this to me. They charge an arm & a leg to give bad service."
"- I shipped 4 boxes Ground International and I get charged the express rate. I have a receipt that CLEARLY says Ground International. I had my boxes for about a month when they decided to bill me.
- I was put on hold for almost an hour. I was transfered to about 5 people. Some of those people spoke poor English.
- My boxes arrived after a week 1/2 bruised, and ripped on the sides. You could actually see inside of the box.
-They kept trying to tell me that my boxes weren't shipped yet. I had my boxes for 2 weeks already.
- I can't even get an adjustment because they're telling me they don't see the money charged on my account. Well, I see it. Now I will probably have to wait a long ass time to get my refund.
I'll never use Fedex ever again! I'll stick to UPS since I've never had a problem with them."
"FedEx is my go-to company for shipping domestically or internationally. The rates easily compare to other shippers, but FedEx has unparalleled customer service coupled with an ease of transaction that no other shippers can match. The ability to track packages, reroute them, or upgrade the delivery time is all available when calling. The customer service reps are helpful, understanding, and quick. Even when I've screwed up the shipping labels, FedEx contacts me to repair any mistakes and it usually costs nothing extra, including time. Highly recommended."
"I feel that I must change my rating for Fed Ex. I have had the service on several occasions refuse either delivery on a specific date, delivery at a specific time or ANY other assistance.
I have a package that for unexplained reasons says "signature required". I signed the signature tag after the first delivery attempt.
The driver REFUSED to take it, leaving another tag THREATENING that it will be returned after this delivery. I was ACTUALLY home, but forgot to take the tag and the driver NEVER knocked or rang the bell...
I called Fed Ex and they state that I somehow MUST be there for the random delivery tomorrow or it will be held at a facility approx. 50 miles away and returned in 3 days.
They will NOT make ANY other offer. They REFUSE to specify a time so that I don't have to take the entire day off work. They won't offer to deliver on a weekend or other day that I will be home. They refuse to ship it to the center that is about 3 miles from my office.
Fed Ex is UTTERLY UNSEABLE. They don't care AT ALL about CUSTOMERS. I will now REFUSE to use ANY company that insists on using Fed Ex. UPS has been FAR more accomodating in the past.
Apparently UPS and the USPS actually care more about their customers than Fed Ex.
I will cancel the order and put a credit card challenge on this item because the shipper has closed at 2pm. I REFUSE to pay for two way shipping because Fed Ex is so lazy."
"Good domestic delivery. BAD international delivery. For international delivery use DHL"
"I had multiple shipments sent to me in the last month via Fedex and have not been very happy with their service.
First, I was having a package shipped to me from the Southwest. I tracked it on-line and saw that it had been delivered while I was at work. Upon returning home, I could not find the package anywhere outside (it stated it was left at the front door). When checking with my wife, she stated that she had not brought anything inside and that Fedex had not arrived.
I called Fedex and was told that the driver entered in a different address as to where he delivered it, but the CSR could not tell me if that address is what was on the mailing label. The house number was up the street so I went for a visit. A resident there provided me my package and said they were going to drop it off the next day. In checking the mailing label, my address was correct on it. It was delivered to 11589 and not 11558. Not sure how they messed that up.
The next delivery I tracked on-line as well and it stated that my delivery date was Monday, June 29. On Monday, I noticed that it was still not in my state, so I called to find out what was going on. I was told that the delivery date was actually 06/30. When I inquired why the website showed 06/29, I was told that they are required to deliver it by 06/30.
On 06/30, I saw that delivery was attempted, but since I was not there to sign for it, that delivery was not made. I called up again and told them that I did not realize it needed to be signed for. I asked if the driver could possibly stop back by (this was only about 30 minutes after the attempt) and was told no. I then asked if I could pick it up at their terminal (even though it was 40 minutes out of my way from work) and was told I could, but not that day.
When I asked if the signature could be waived or if I could just sign the missed delivery slip, I was told no to that as well. Luckily, my wife stated she would be home the next day and ended up signing for it when it was delivered.
In the past, I had found UPS to be accomodating in making second attempts the same day and also being able to pick up a missed package the same day delivery was attempted. With the lack of that and incorrectly delivering a package, I will be using UPS for my shipping needs."
"i used to prefer to receive packages from Fedex than other vendors. recently though they seem to have slipped. The site used to provide accurate up to date info now it often is not updated for days and is sometimes inaccurate even when it has been updated.
this would be bad enough but on all occasions Fedex has been difficult to deal with. They often claim that they cannot make a mistake. that if the site says something that HAS to be true and that amkes it harder than it has to be to resolvea simple issue."
"Fedex ground is truly horrible. I have been waiting for a package for a whole month from ny to nj! the first time they send it back to the shipper. the second time they say I was not there, they leave no notice. Calling customer service is a waste of time because all they do is read what the tracking # says. Dont expect them to call you back with an update or fix a problem. Poor service from what used to be a top rate carrier. Only UPS from now on."
"I really despise companies that don't give an option of which company to use to ship products. I know all companies have SNAFU's but FedEx always seems to botch things up. There also must be a high turnover rate as it seems I have a new driver every other week.
My last order was supposed to arrive two days ago. The thing that got to me was the online message said "Customer not available or business closed". I call FedEx literally 5 minutes after he supposedly came and she says they will try again the following day saying they're sorry he missed me. HE NEVER CAME! Now the next day rolls around and when I track my package it now says "Cannot locate recipient". So I call again and give them my phone number and the closest cross street. She says he will try again tomorrow.
I know mistakes happen but the driver should have put he couldn't locate me the first time-not say I wasn't home. Or the rep I called could have checked with the driver instead of saying he will try again tomorrow, especially since I called 5 minutes after he said he was here. I just had a package delivered last week from FedEx so it must be a new driver--again. "
"At my old address, in a small condo, FedEx would just leave things to get stolen without a signature even if it was requested. At my new address, at an isolated house they can't just leave it on the porch. I spoke to a customer service person who said they could leave it there and she would give them special instructions. I left a note and the signed FedEx slip at the door. They still refused to deliver. I have had such pleasant experiences with the USPS and UPS. They always will follow the customers instructions. FedEx overrides customer requests with bureaucratic policy. I will never use any online vendor that only uses FedEx"
