"The primary item I ordered was not in stock, though it didn't state that when I ordered it. The day after I ordered it, I received an email from Firecraft stating it was backordered and was expected to be available 2 weeks later. It's now 2 1/2 weeks later and I haven't heard anything. I also checked the status of my order on the Firecraft website and it says "pending", with no other details. Very frustrating and I would've paid 10% more to have the backordered item 2 weeks ago.
Update: I appreciate the follow-up reply from FireCraft, but it really would've been nice to know it was backordered or out of stock before I completed the order."

"After the delay in shipment, which I totally understand the circumstances that resulted
in the delay, and I appreciate that, Old Dominion Freight was totally unacceptable.
They tried to deliver in an eighteen-wheeler to a single lane road (GPS !). Then, they
didn't have the equipment to deliver the next day. Since key employees are on
vacation, they can't deliver until Monday, Oct 12th, but that will be in a pick-up truck !
This is Friday, Oct 9th, I'am still waiting.
