"Do NOT buy from Fitness Blowout - On 10/30/2010, I purchased FreeMotionâ„¢ USA 5.3SA elliptical machine and a floormat from salesman, Brad Keys - FALSE ADVERTISING No.1 - This elliptical machine was advertised as being "Made In America" - Keys STATED that the elliptical would be shipped from the factory near Atlanta GA and would arrive on Nov. 12 - Called the shipper and was told that the elliptical was being shipped from California and had not shipped yet - Elliptical arrived on Nov. 18 and it was MADE IN CHINA - Heart-rate monitor and floormat were missing - On Nov 24, I called to inquire about the floormat and the heart-rate monitor and Kevin answered - He quickly proceeded to tell me how lucky I was to get him because he was in-charge of customer service and how he HAD to be at work at 8:00AM because of dealing with people on the East Coast instead of coming in at 9:00AM(tough life) - As I proceeded to tell about the missing items, Kevin continuously attempted to talk over and interrupt me without a single "Excuse me" and then really became impertinent by interrupting and asking if he had my permission to speak - Kevin promised to send 2 e-mails to me, 10 minutes after hanging up, regarding when I would be getting the 2 missing items - Never received PROMISED e-mails - Floormat showed up a week later - Made many attempts to call, including "SuperGym" Rosen whose voice-mail referred me to Steve B. - Made many calls, but Steve never returned my calls - FALSE ADVERTISING No.2 - After further calls to Cust. Serv., issue was resolved to this Reseller's satisfaction by Martin F. stating that heartrate monitor was "While supplies lasted" and they were not responsible for not knowing the manufacturer's inventory even though this machine was coming from CA and you would naturally assume that Fitness Blowout had the supply and you could accept the salesman's (Keys had comfirmed that heartrate monitors were still available) word based on the then advertising. I was then told that the heart-rate monitor was not worth much and I would be better off buying a more expensive one - Deal with these people at your own risk."

I was impressed by the time the sales associate took to compare the ones I was inquiring about to machines from other companies. I was highly impressed with his knowledge of the industry. "The initial sales contact was pleasant, I did feel pressure to purchase an extended warranty, when I tried to back out of the warranty a few days later, I found that I couldn't. Shipping was misrepresented badly, I specifically told the sales rep we lived in a rural area with a long driveway, he explained that standard delivery was to the "threshold" I asked "does this mean the door?" and was told yes, to the door but they would not carry inside. However, when delivery was scheduled, I find that threshold means "at the street". Now my wife & I have to lug 300 pounds of gear up a hill and into the house. Customer service was not pleasant, it should be customer "take it or leave it"! Also, they bill your card the day you place the order so you have no recourse. Most reputable places do not bill until the item ships. I was also not provided with any tracking information. I would not order from there again."

"My name is Dan from TN and I have been wanting to buy a good treadmill for my fiance for the last few months. As always prior to any purchase of a substantial dollar amount I extensively research/shop it on the internet. Upon doing that I quickly discovered what I believed to be the best product for the best price and from the most reputable company. I chose the Free motion 5.8 tc with carbonflex deck.
My next step was to call Fitness Blowout's 1-800 number and speak to a representative to get the final price and ask a few questions I had. I spoke with Brad, he was extremely knowledgeable on the product when answering my questions, very polite, confident, and courteous. My concern was trying to have it delivered by Christmas and all though Brad stated he could not guarantee that he did state it was likely to be delivered by then and that he would do everything he could to make it happen. That was all I could ask for!
ALL companies constantly "preach" good customer service...but VERY few actually "execute" it, at least not to the level of expectation they claim. Fitness Blowout however is obviously doing everything right in the selection and training of their personnel, because they provide excellent customer service!
Now as long as the quality of the product itself is up to the standard Im expecting it to be when it does arrive then my entire experience with Fitness Blowout will be a totally gratifying one! I will update my review once the treadmill arrives and my fiance and I have the chance to use it, but right now I HIGHLY recommend and STRONGLY advise anyone in the market for fitness equipment to call Fitness Blowout. "I oredered a Freemotion Treadmill From Fitness Blowout on the 10th on November from my salesman Steve and I had it put on a credit card through their finance comany. I was also talked into and agreed to a $250 lifttime belt replacment plan which a few hours later I decided I did not really want and went to call back and was told to call the next day b/c steve would have to put it through and he was gone. It took a little trying but when I finally got ahold of Steve he assured me it would be no problem to remove the belt warranty and that he put it through to the finance company. It has been almost a month now and it still has not gone through the finace company I called Steve and he keeps assuring me he has done his part and it should reflect on my next bill and It should not take that long I am begining to doubt he put it through at all. Also when I brought my treadmill home and put it together one of the wheels on the bottom of the deck was broken and the plastic the you stand on the side that screws into the deck 2 screws were stripped out already which caused it to make a lot of noise while running. I dont believe that is Fitness Blowouts fault though but im not sure.I have already called freemotion and they have sent me new parts to replace the broken ones its just inconvient being it is a brand new tredmill. All that said all i want is my $250 credit for my warranty I cancled if they could get that taken care of I dont really have any other complaints and I would purchase from them again and change my rating in this review."

"I ordered an elliptistrider and financed it over the phone. I never received a confirmation email or anything documenting the sale. I have called several times spoke with brad, israel and chris> they all have promised that jonathan will call me with an explanation. They are not able to even find the order in the system. This led me to search online to ensure they are not scamming me,i found this website. I am in the process of calling the credit bureau and my bank to let them know to block any and all requests from SCA financing based on lack of credibility. So far they are trying to charge me for shipping when the website says free shipping. The fact that they cant find me in their systems may be a blessing in disguise. "To me, service is often more important than price; however, neither attribute of my transaction could be improved.

I became acquainted with incline trainers through FitnessBlowout.com. One representative was quite helpful with my subsequent questions, and alerted me to the merits of different models. After searching around, a lower price surfaced for the new treadmill in mind. When alerted to the difference, the people at 800.FIT.4.LESS showed their competitiveness and beat the other merchant's price by approximately 6%, close to $100, and included a floor mat!

For the above reasons, I completely recommend this store.

UPDATE 12/18/10 Delivery was on schedule. Strangely, the floor mat did not arrive until days later, and because the machine is heavy, executing the plan to to assemble it atop the protective cover had to wait.

Nevertheless, assembly was fairly straightforward, and the TT50 (FreeMotion Incline Trainer Pro) has been used once.

UPDATE 7/16/11 Tech support has made a third visit to repair the treadmill (this time because of loud squeaking). I have almost used it twice since: last night when finishing a demanding and exhilarating 45 minute workout by running at 6 minute mile speed, it got so noisy that I needed to stop--probably because the belt needs to be tightened.

Super Gym's Fitness Warehouse promised a credit to my account for posting a review here and never honored their offer. They also have offered a gift certificate for posting on Yelp.com: of course I am not willing to do so because of their perfidy."
