"Charged me a restocking fee when I never even opened the box all I did was resend the package back since they were so late getting it to me. Customer service is very poor spend several hours on hold trying to get a return # the only phone that would pick up is the sales line and they were rude and informed me they could not help me I would have to hold for customer service after waiting for 30 minutes or so I would give up and try at a later day same thing so I would push 1 for sales and again very rude like a was a bother because I had a return and again telling me they could not give me return number go to customer service line then finally after 9 days I achieved a number I felt like I won the lotto! There are to many websites with great customer service to have to deal with this."
"Awesome prices and service. Ordered Minolta 7D, minolta 28-75mm F2.8, and 5600HS(D). Emailed them acouple of times to asked some questions, always very quick responses. Person I dealt with was Jack at ext 843. They did inquire if I needed mem or filters but truly seemed to do so just to make sure I wasn't forgetting them. Jack did not try to press the sale of extras at all. Shipped out same day I ordered. Normally I use B&H but they wouldn't attempt to meet thier price. I will definitelly shop these guys before anywhere else now."

"The prices cannot be beat. My purchase was sent out immediately once there was a credit card confirmation. Lens cleaner had leaked in the kit but not a problem. In early/mid December, I sent off an order for several hundred dollars worth of supplies (I did it via snail mail and I KNOW I provided all the correct info).
Dec 14: I received an email from UPS giving me my tracking #, but I noticed that they had my address listed as Lawrence, KS (I live in a town in Missouri whose name in no way resembles "Lawrence"). Since I didn't know whose mistake it was (UPS or the photo shop), I sent very nice emails to both places notifying them of the error and giving them both my correct address.
Dec 16: I received a phone call from the UPS office in Lawrence saying they received my package. They called Digital Foto and notified them of the error and found it was a mistake on Digital Foto's part. They said they would be sending me my package from Lawrence and I should get it in a couple days (BTW, USP has been wonderul through this whole ordeal).
That same day, I still hadn't received any replies from Digital Foto so I sent them another email letting them know that UPS was getting things straightened out. And, trying to be nice, but firm, I let them know that it was a mistake on their part and I wasn't too pleased with it.
Dec 19: I received my package, but it didn't contain my complete order. The invoice had a note saying one item was on back order (totally understandable - not Digital Foto's fault).
I still hadn't heard anything from Digital Foto and it had been 5 days since I first emailed them and 3 days since they received another email from me and a phone call from UPS. So I emailed them again (still trying to be somewhat nice - I wanted the rest of my stuff sometime this decade - while still expressing my displeasure in their service). 90% of that email was pertaining to the issues with them shipping my stuff to Lawrence and the fact that UPS (which was in no way at fault) has been incredibly nice & helpful, while Digital Foto (who was fully at fault) hasn't even acknowledged that there was even an issue to begin with, let alone appologize about it, or refund some of my shipping charges since I paid for 2nd day, not 5 day. The other 10% of the email was just a couple sentences asking approximately when I could expect my back ordered item.
Dec 21 (a full week after the very first notification): I FINALLY received an email from Digital Foto. All it said was my remaining item was on backorder and they didn't know when I'd get it. It didn't say a thing about the Lawrence issues! (really, at this point, all I wanted was for them to acknowledge the mistake and appologize - I didn't even care about the shipping difference any more). So after 2 emails from me and and a phone call form UPS went totally ignored, I finally sent a very angry email.
Dec 23: I got another email from Digital Foto. The lady basically said they had problems with their email client and weren't receiving all the emails. She appologized and offered $7 store credit (I would like to point out that she apparently DID receive at least the 3rd email - the one that was 90% about the Lawrence issues - because she DID reply to it, but only to the part about the remote. She completely ignored the bulk of the email which was about the Lawrence issue so the whole "not receiving emails" thing is pretty darn suspicious). Anyway, I had no intentions of using the $7 credit, but I did reply very nicely saying all I really wanted was an appology so I was happy (basically, I was pretty much satisfied and ready to put it all behind me).
Dec 29: I got another email from UPS saying that Digital Foto is sending me another package (my back ordered item). BUT, the address listed is LAWRENCE, KS AGAIN! In every single one of my emails, I made it a point to tell them that I DO NOT LIVE IN LAWRENCE, KS and gave them my correct address. So I sent them yet another angry email (this is about the 4th or 5th I've sent).
Jan 5: Thanks to much kindness from UPS (and absolutely no help or acknowledgment from Digital Foto), I finally received the last of my order. I was even kind enough to email Digital Foto to let them know that I finally received, but of course, I have yet to get a reply.
Based on my experience, I've come to the conclusion that this company is full of incompetent people who couldn't care less about their customers. They are never getting another penny from me (unless I happen to move the Lawrence, KS)."
"So i bought a Yamaha digital keyboard from them. A very large item. Weighed well over 120 lbs so it couldn't be shipped via standard UPS and needed freight shipping. I was worried it would cost a fortune to ship. I spoke to them over the phone, and they said they'd ship it to me for free! It took a while for my piano to arrive because of Thanksgiving and shipping company delays but I got the piano.
Spoke to several people over the phone. Very nice people (unfortunately the Brooklyn accent is very difficult to understand at times), and very helpful.
