"I ordered a Canon 5D from DigitalFotoClub.com in the morning. Got a call in voice mail and asked me to call back to their credit verification department. Called back the next morning. After a couple of transfers, “BB” answered my call and verified my phone number. Since the phone number is listed under my wife’s name, she asked me to fax my driver license. I end up fax her my credit card bill with name and address on it. First fax number given does not work, another service person answered my call and gave a new fax number. After faxing the document, I called back and was told they’ve received all they needed to process my order. Later that afternoon, got an email with UPS tracking number.
I received my 5D one week after placing my order. I’m somewhat satisfied. I need to call and fax several times to finalize my order but after all, it is for a $3000 camera. Buying from them should be secure enough. The packaging could be better as some of the top air bag is deflated.
I would buy from them again.

The sales person was very knowledgable, did not excessively pressure to buy additional or unwanted items, and clearly explained the purchase and shipping procedures. I was not hurried to conclude the transaction (since I inadvertently detained salesperson after closing hours, on a holiday), and the salesperson was very courtious and helpful. I was slightly skeptical of purchasing this high cost item from a company I didn't know, over the internet. The transaction went as they descibed, shipped as descibed, and arrived in good condition. The price was excellent, they sent an immediate verification of the order and shipping date with the tracking #, the product arrived promptly (sooner than expected), it was well packed, the original box was in excellent condition. My only concern is that Digital Foto Club, as well as some other on-line companies, will only give you 10 days to return damaged or defective products, and they will not allow returns on some products. The Scanner I purchased could not be returned to Digital Photo Club had it been damaged or defective. It wasn't damaged or defective, but there was a risk. I called their customer service to question if this information was true, it was. "
"Based on the “Very Satisfied” reviews, I placed my order online and received the confirmation e-mail almost immediately. The next day I received the shipping and tracking information by e-mail -- no phone call to "bait and switch" as with some online camera retailers. I received the item on time! No problems from Digital Foto Club! The only glitch with this order was with UPS – they literally destroyed the shipping box! The UPS driver made a note in case the item was damaged. It appeared Digital Foto Club packed the item sufficiently, thus protecting the contents. I will highly consider Digital Foto Club for future buying!"

"I had ordered a camera flash back in June 2003 from DigitalFotoClub with no problems so I decided to use them again to purchase a Sigma flash for my new camera.
The order status page stated my order was processing from 07/11 until 07/13. On 07/14, the status field for the order was blank and there were no notes in the order information itself. (The order status page states that tracking numbers were last updated on 05/20/05 at 11:45:14 AM.) I called on 07/15 to find out the status and was told that the flash had been drop-shipped from the manufacturer on 07/12 so that is why no tracking number was available. I was told that someone would contact me later on that day with a tracking number.
On 07/18, I still hadn't heard anything from DFC and my order status was still not updated. I called back and was told essentially the same thing, but this time they took my phone number and told me they would contact me with a tracking number after they contact Sigma and get one.
Well, I received the call back from the person I talked to this morning. She stated that they contacted Sigma and were told that the item did not ship as they did not have any in stock. She stated that she would cancel my order and have my credit card credited back.
I'm disappointed that the order flopped (they still list the item as being in stock) and that they charged my credit card without confirming the item had shipped from Sigma, but happy with their efforts to appease me and correct the situation."
"I ordered a PDA from this company on a Tuesday. Their asking price was significantly less than the competition. When I hadn't received my tracking number by Friday, I sent them an email. However, the package had shipped earlier that day, and they emailed my tracking number that night. Although I would have prefered a bit better communication, they held up their end and the device arrived well packed and fully functional.
