"Screaming loudly!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, WORST EVER!!!!. I placed 2 separate orders and received confirmation. Approximately 12 hours later I received a phone message and an email informing me that "...our Credit Card Verification Service has recommended this order be cancelled." The phone call was a wast of time, they could not give me an explanation yada, yada, yada. They recommended that I use Western Union Quick Pay. Why don't they explain this when placing the order. WASTED TIME ordering and on the phone. I'm thoroughly DISGUSTED!!! I rate the experience "LESS THAN A STAR""

"I just ordered about 5 pieces from Kids footlocker. when I hit the buy button, I got a message that said that transaction could not be processed. I also got an email thanking me for my order and that all was good. So I called the company and was told to call back in an hour. Apparently that's when the system would process it. Within that time, Igot an email saying my order had gone through and all was good. This morning, I get a message saying that it could not be processed. I call and am told that I can only pay through western union because the system won't take my card and for confidential reasons they can't say why...I asked if I could use another card and they told me I could try....Very angry and will never order again!!!!!"

"I am going to sum it up like this: I never had a order f*cked up soo bad by anyone. I can order chinese food easier than order from footlocker. I honestly never dealt with soo many idiot who worked for one company in my life, and the stores aren't much better. Foot Action for now on....No Champs,Finish Line, or any other Foot Locker affiliates"

"a very very bad experience with foot locker, very regretful that I should look up the review first before placing the order. don't know whether people satisfied with the purchase didn't leave a feedback or what. I tried to get a pair of blue Nike AIR CAGE COURT shoes for my tennis practice. I placed the order with foot locker in hope to get a satisfactory shoes as soon as possible, thus I gave up the chance to order through discover card (5% discount) and another store ($10 cheaper). I received an item as promised, but the size is too small and I thus requested to have an exchange. Now nightmare came. after tedious waiting, it finally arrived but it's obviously not brand new with one of the shoes shorter shoelaces, one of the shoes seems to have defect in its manufacturing, and the color is also not what I want. I indicated in the exchange shipping the right color and wait, wait, after nearly two weeks I got their response saying a pair of new "white" shoes was sent out again! I was enraged and asked why. then, it turns out that they ran out of the blue ones and use white instead. I requested a refund. No questions asked and a refund is issued, which is good.

The overall experience, I have to say is terrible, although their customer personnels are quite nice. If you can get your first pair of shoes alright, then possibly you will have quite good experience, if you need an exchange, things can get quite out of your control.

"I'm so disappointed with FootLocker, buying from them online is a problem. I bought a pair sneakers and they gave me $10 off my next purchase in store and online and trying to redeem that offer has been a total disaster. First, I tried to buy sneakers online and the validation code did't work in the website, so I called and after a long talk they said the $10 dollar off code could only be applied manually by them over the phone, so they placed my order and few days later it was canceled cause I used an international credit card and apparently they don't accept those. I'm an international student in NY and have been using this CC since I moved here in 2013, I also bought the first sneakers with that CC in-store, but fine, they don't accept it. However, on my second try today, I called 3 times and talked with 3 different people and I had to give up. I was gonna to use my US Chase Debit Card (which clearly would not have the same problem) and they said that my account was blocked because of the other card I used and they can't place any order because I am registered. Silly c'z you can buy anything from them without even being registered. Finally my friend called and tried buying the shoes herself and they told her that they can only apply one discount at a time (after they HAD applied both codes to my original order with the international credit card), so if she wanted to get the 10$ off she would've had to lose the free shipping coupon. So, I can't use the code myself online because they have to apply it manually and I can't use free shipping when they apply it manually over the phone (even though they initially could). I'm definitely never gonna buy anything here, so many complications just to avoid giving $10 off."

"I ordered the Jordan 14 in GY/WH/BL and and when I went to check the status my order I noticed that part of my order was cancelled. So I called customer service and they told me that they cancelled the order because they won't be receiving anymore shoes. Which makes no sense they should have just said the item was sold out. I'm very unhappy."

"I'm not sure why all of the negative reviews! I paid for two day shipping. I placed my order on Saturday and after 1 business day of processing on Monday, it is scheduled to be at my door via UPS on Wednesday. I got the UPS notification before I got the shipment notification from Footlocker.com, but either way.. they're delivering the service that they offered and that I paid for. If you do not understand that shipping times do not include processing times, you need to educate yourself on internet shopping. I am a real person and I live in Northern Virginia and have no affiliation with Footlocker. I was actually thinking about NOT ordering from them because of the negative reviews but I did anyways and I am pleased with my service as expected. Thanks Footlocker, two thumbs up in my book and will order again. "

"Purchased a pair of shoes on September 26, 2014. I was not able to track my order on the footlocker website, thought i would give them some time for shipping. Still have not receive my order after 1 week. On October 6, 2014 i decided to call their customer service line to follow up and was informed that the order was cancelled due to the reason that the product is out of stocks. No email was sent out to me to inform me that the order was cancelled. I was surprise a retail store that operating in approximately 20 countries worldwide have this poor customer service and this lack sufficient operarting system. will not be making any more purchase from thiscompany from now on due to lack of credibility."

"Worst customer service & head office still haven't replied to my email after 4 weeks.
I bought two pairs of traineers, wanted to exchange one pair but they didn't have my size. Wanted to get a refund and after waiting 30 mins with my 21 month old for the manager to authorise a cash refund (as the sales guys told me) the manager refused to give me a refund. I asked to speak to head office the manager told me they were closed on weekends. I left the store went online and found a number for HO who were open. I called and had the HO put the phone down after I told her what the store manager had said and I said "you obviously are open as I'm speaking to you". I emailed HO and tweeted them all with no reply.
No wonder they're losing to JD sports they are just awful and will not get another penny out of me

"I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from FootLocker.

I ordered some cross trainers online. I got one email acknowledging the order with proper details. Then, I got another email saying they were shipping the right shoes but they indicated the wrong size. I emailed them to cancel, and called them to cancel. I never got anything back re the email. The phone flunky said that it was already too late ( a few hours in) to cancel the order.

I asked if an ordinary FootLocker store would really understand that they were supposed to return my shoes and refund my money. The phone flunky said yes, but we shall see.

This is basic stuff. Anyone with a modern inventory system would know immediately they didn't have the right size and they should have cancelled the order themselves. This company is totally without ethics or standards.

In my part of the world, this comes very close to breaking a number of laws relating to misleading advertising and bait and switch procedures. If things go poorly with the store refund, I will certainly be bringing this to the attention of the appropriate authorities. In my jurisdiction, this will be taken seriously. If nothing else, the company will have to deal with a blizzard of paper work from 3 levels of government.

In any event, I won't be doing business with this company again under any circumstances.

As an update, I was able to get a refund on the shoes at a bricks and mortar FootLocker. This took place without too much difficulty. It actually went pretty well considering the person who waited on me was new to the job. I would give him 5 stars under the circumstances. So, if you want to do business with a regular FootLocker store, it is probably still a reasonable bet depending on your tastes. Stay away from their online sales.

"Overpriced shipping. I live an hour away from their warehouse, so I refused to pay the $12 shipping. I ordered some d rose slides in a gray color, only to get a red colored pair. Idiots. Also, it would have been nice to receive a call saying my order had arrived in store. Rant over. On a positive note the merchandise was in great condition."
