"I ordered a DMC-TZ50 as a Mother's Day present for my wife. The WiFi feature that comes ONLY in the TZ50 was VERY, VERY important to us as the primary reason we were buying it was to make things "easier" for her to transfer photos without bothering with wires, cards, etc. I search extensively online for the best deal and while a number of vendors offered the non-WiFi TZ5 & TZ4's at competitive prices (around $200), it seemed that nearly every vendor wanted at LEAST $300+ for the TZ50. None of the "traditional" sites even had foto connection appearing in their list of choices for vendors offering the TZ50. However, since I was also shopping for a Flat Panel TV at the same time, I WAS able to "discover" that foto connection had it listed on their site for $209 with free shipping. I figured... that's probably a typo but let's try it anyway. Guess what? It was not a typo. We recieved the camera today and it is PERFECT, new in box, no issues what-so-ever. I did get the follow up order confirmation call from a sales rep but he was not high pressure at all and was easy to work with. I am still shopping for my 52" flat panel and foto connection has competitive prices on these as well so I have a feeling that this first successful sale will result in more business from us and they now have the TOP position on my list of online electronics resellers I will consider and recommend. I shopped around and the camera I purchased was not yet available on most other sites or through the manufacturer. It is an awesome product that I wanted to give to my daughter for a graduation present and am glad I did not have to settle for less.
The customer service I received from Louis was excellent. He was professional, informative, and patient. I can be a bit of a stress factor for sales people because I have a difficult time making up my mind. I ask a lot of questions and Louis answered every single one of them easily and quickly. I also talk fast and tend to cut out what I think is insignificant, but Louis always stayed right with me. I must have called back 3 or 4 times and every time I just said, "Hi Louis, this is Laura again" and he would pick up right where I left off of the previous phone call as if I were his only customer.
Louis also went over all my options, informed me as to what other products my daughter would need to purchase in order to get the most out of her camera. I am not up-to-date on this information so I was very appreciative of that. I want her to feel I gave her a complete gift and she does not have to run out and purchase the extras.
The packages offered were over the top compared to other like companies. Other companies sold only the camera and the price was higher than what I paid for the camera and 5 free items. Louis also offered me a welcomed discount on the extended warranty and the extra battery I purchased.
There was only one small disappointment and it was that I did not receive two of the 5 free items, but I called right away and Louis said, "no problem," you will have them tomorrow. The delivery time was also part of my terrific experience in that I placed the order on May 4th @ 5:45 p.m. and I received it today, May 5th before 3:00 p.m. The shipping was free and I could not be a happier customer.

"What can I say, these guys are terrific. I ordered two 32" Sharp Aquos LCD's and one 52" Sharp Aquos LCD. When I received the TV's they were in immaculate condition and delivered with great care by the trucking company.
Sounds easy right? Not quite thanks to me. There was a miss-communication on the model of the 52" I wanted and the wrong one was sent. I called the folks at FotoConnection and after a bit of clarifying conversation they had the correct TV on the way and the older version 52" on the way back to them with the proper paper trail for my ease of mind. They were terrific and made me feel like I was working with real professionals.

"BIG TIME BAIT AND SWITCH!!! I have ordered at least five digital still or movie cameras from online companies over the past ten years with not a bit of trouble... then I ordered from Fotoconnection. Big mistake!! I ordered a Nikon Coolpix S630 from their website for $239 - a great price. The next day I received an email telling me I needed to call an 800 number and confirm my order with someone named Mark. I thought this was strange but made the call anyway. Mark warned me that my package from Nikon would not be shipped with the regular battery, but with a "trial" battery that would last only 30 minutes. Although I had never heard of such a thing, he claimed that this was normal procedure and helped them keep the price low. He suggested that I buy an extended-life battery for an additional $30. I initially agreed, thinking that I could use the "trial" battery as a back-up. But Mark then told me that I would only receive one battery, not both. I asked him why this "trial" battery business was not mentioned on the website and he said it was in the fine print, which I couldn't find. I told him this was classic bait and switch and cancelled my order. By the way, I HATE to type. I really have to feel strongly about something to type more than two sentences.

"Usual experience. Nothing great nothing bad. Products are dirt cheap but be careful about the sales pressure from the follow up call to add acessories or warranties. Also the products are OEM or Gray box most of the time. Although it apears brand new, they are not in Retail Box. I did not know that but it was not an issue for me.
