" THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!
Ordered Garmin GPS navigation with handlebar mount.
>> It took them several days to let me know that my credit card could not be accepted unless I send them 2 IDs. I did that immediately (sent via email to address provided to me) but still nothing happened.
>>I called there after several days and I was told to resend my IDs. I did that (quite angry) but still nothing.
>>I called again to find out that this time I need to send in also a copy of my card (Why could not the tell me at the beginning? And WHY didn't anybody contact me?) I did not have any problems with this credit card anywhere else, it is a golden AmEx.
>> I called I needed the goods quickly as I needed to leave the town. I got the promise but it took more than a week to deliver only part of the goods.
>> I agreed with the company to cancel the rest of the order, since I did not need it that late. I was told I would get part of my money back. BUT the canceled shipment still arrived later on (when I was not there, and while I have already bought the missing accessories somewhere else) and the full amount was charged on my credit card.

"I ordered on October two cameras from the company and both were shipped promptly and both were received promptly. The only negative so far is that I have not received the "free" promotional item as promised. They at first wanted $9.99 for shipping and handling, but now will wave that if I give a review on their company which I am now doing. We will see if they now ship my "free" promotional item as promised!"

Ordered an item their site listed as in stock on 11/19 and received an auto confirmation. As of 11/21, online status showed only 'Order Received',and I had received no additional email. Called them and was transferred three times before being told the order was fine, it was in stock and would be shipping that day. Rep then attempted to pressure me into buying additional items and service contracts, to which I politely said 'No thanks.' and hung up.
As of 11/26, I still had not received any additional email so I checked their site again and status still showed 'Order Received'. I called again and was put on hold, then told the item was discontinued. I said, 'That's no problem. Ship the unit you have in stock, as your site said you had stock. I don't care if it's discontinued.' The reply was 'We don't have any and that stock was coming from the manufacturer, but it's discontinued.' My reply was, 'So, you really never had this in stock, and your rep lied to me on 11/21 when I called to confirm this was shipping. I should have known better before ordering from a company with such a bad rating.' The response was silence, to which I hung up.
So, essentially, this is a business that attempts to up-sell and push service contracts onto their 'valued customers', while ignoring the actual order placed. Additionally, their site is inaccurate as they publish all direct ship items as being in stock, without even mentioning that an item is a direct ship item. Just because something ships directly from a manufacturer has no bearing on whether the manufacturer has stock.
Stay away from these folks at all costs!"
"I ordered the new Casio EX-V8 with the 3year warranty. It is awesome and my boyfriend loves it.
The sales rep I got was a fast talker, and naturally he tried to sell me accessories and such to increase the sale. I don't mind being informed of other devices that I may want, but some of the things he told me sounded like he was trying to scare me into buying extra stuff. Or maybe I just misunderstood him. Either way, I didn't like that. Eventually, I got through all the suggestions he had to accompany this camera and I got what I wanted. It was a great price too!
Now all I'm waiting for is the special starter kit package to arrive before our trip and we'll be happy tourists clicking away!"
"Camera as discribed. High pressure, unethical tactics used to try and sell warranty and battery. Was told we forgot to order a battery and needed one. When I told him all cameras come with batterys he said we needed to buy one because the one shipped with the camera could only be recharged 2 or 3 times, it was disposable. ANOTHER LIE. Was told I needed a warranty because it only came with a 90 day warranty. Actually has 1 year warranty."
"I placed an order for Panasonic DMC-LX2K. The check out price was $334. I went with this website although it was a lil more expensive but they give a free starter kit. The next morning i got a call from a rep "Jack" who claimed that he just need to confirm my order before processing it. The first thing he asked was "you have ordered a 1 GB SD card right it, right?". My answer was "NO". He then stated that the battery that comes with the camera only lasts 10 mins and that i needed to buy an extended battery for $60. My answer was "NO, thanks! why does it only last 10 mins. your website states that this is a new factory sealed items with 1 yrs US warranty". He, then said that the warranty from from fotoconnection and that the camera was a grey market camera. If i wanted a US camera i would have to pay an extra $50. And if i wanted the starter kit i would have to pay an additional $10 for S&H which was not on the invoice when i checked out. I then asked to cancel my order but he told me that there would a 15% charge for cancelling my order which has not be confirmed yet. I told him that he charges me any additional fees and sends me a grey market camera i would sue the company and hung up. My CC has not been charged yet and i hope it will not be. As long as you buy their over priced accessories you will be get good service. If you don't, be ready for a big disappointment! they will try to charge additional fees. I wish i have known about resellerratings.com prior to making my purchase. If somethings seemed too good to be true, it usually is! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!"
"Wish I had done my homework before ordering form these people!
Placed my order online and received email next day that they wanted me to call and verify my info. When I called the sales person tried to sell me more stuff and "upgrade" my order. I said no and told them to just send me what I ordered online at the price agreed.
Three days later I get a beat up box. I was supposed to get two memory cards with my camera but only got one; in addition, the bill was for $29 more than it should have been.
I called and was literally burped at, transfered several times, and hung up on. They offered me a $15 store credit, then they offered to send me another memory card but I would have to pay $19 for shipping. Finally she offered to send me the memory card I was supposed to get in the first place if I would write a good review on this site!
I have since learned that there are many complaints against this company. I will forward mine to my credit card company, the BBB, and the state of New York.
DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! "

After ordering, FotoConnection did a follow-up call and asked if I needed anything else. I did not and they were okay with that and procedded to ship my order. It arrived in perfect shape. I did not get the free accessories as advertised on the webpage, BUT, upon calling FotoConnection and only having to wait about 5 minutes, FotoConnection then informed me that the free accessories were coming from the promotional company. "Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with myn order. The wiat time to call back and confirm was very long - I tried 3 diff times and finally got through. The wait time on the last call in was almost 10 minutes. Once through the contact person Sam? was not very professional. He was talking to people around him the same time and just not speaking professionally.. Once the order was put through I was not contacted regarding the camera being backordered. I called in today and found this out. Luckily I was put on the phone with Peter Sullivan who could not have been more professional. He informed me that the camera was out of stock. I was ready to cancel my order - I'd really had enough!! He instead told me about another camera you have in stock and would have it shipped out today. He was so kind that it didn't matter that it cost more money either. I have to say that I have a different opinion of your company and it's customer service now thanks to Peter.
