"I had purchased three cameras from them and as per the website I was expected to receive three starter kits along with Cameras but I contacted them they told me that I will received only one..
There customers Rep. are very unprofessial and are very rude and refer to few of sample there conversation content below..
1. It is a free starter kit and so accept what we give..

"I received the product in a timely and satisfatory manner. There was some confusion regarding the promotional item and additional charges for insurance that were clearly communicated."
"First off, The company does respond to emails, and I did get my order. There were a couple irratating things. First even though the item showed as in stock and shipping within 48 hours it did not. I odereded on a Wednesday and had still not got a shipping comfirmation on the following Tuesday. I called and was told that the item was out of stock and would ship that day. It ended up shipping the next day, one week after the order.
Second, they did call on Sunday and try to sell an extended warentee. The caller seemed a little upset that I was refusing it, but did end up accepting that I did not want it.
Third the item listing said that it included a free case. The case did not arrive with the order. I emailed support and was tld it was because I did not authorize the extra $9.99 shipping charge. No where on the order did it say to, and I was never contacted to do that. They did offer to send it no shipping if I posted a review here.
So anyway, I did get what I ordered for a great price, but not without a few process related issues."

Not only was it difficult to touch bases with fotoconnection as it was often closed or the hours of operation was not convenient with my hours. This transaction has taken a month to complete. You have awsome deals but I would rather pay more for a smooth and timely transaction."
"I did not receive my promotional tripod. Although I did receive my promotion camera bag and cleaning kit. Customer Service said they would waive the shipping fees of the tripod (that they didn't send) if I filled out "good" customer review."
"I was going to buy a Nikon D80. I got a confirmation and received a shipping receipt. Then I got a call from fotoconnection and the guy told me I could get a japanese version for the price I ordered w/o warranty or the US version with warranty but just for another $180 more. I call this fraud. There is absolutly no information on the web page. The other trick: Look for the price you finally order. It might be different on the first list and your final order and I'm not talking about taxes ... Fraud totally!"
"This company had the best price for the camera I was looking for, and it even offered a free starter kit! And free upgrade to 2nd day shipping! I had a party coming up soon, and didn't have a camera, so I bought it. But, as it turned out, the shipping wasn't upgraded (probably because you had to buy a kit and the free one doesn't count); also, I received an email to call them to confirm my order but when I called they said I didn't need to confirm. When the camera arrived with no kit, they said that it was because I never approved of an extra 9 dollars shipping charge. They never mention that on the web, and I never did receive a notice of that. They should ship the kit and the camera together to save. I wish they would be more explicit and up-front about their offers and secret extra charges, because they really have the best prices. Also, skip the confirmation call, the internet order should be enough. It wasn't needed anyway."

"The Chinese exchange student who works for me placed an order with this company. She ordered 2 cameras and they looked like good deals to me. The "whats in the box" tab said it came with a battery. Then a guy called her and told that the camera didn't come with a battery and that he would include the battery and the warranty for and extra $150. Then She said to cancel the order because she didn't want the warranty and the camera was suppose to come with a battery. Then he said he would charge her a $50 restocking fee if she cancelled. She said to cancel anyway because she didn't have $450.
So he keeps calling her, saying he will take some off the price. He has called her lots of times and it is stressing her out so she can't study. She has no idea about the status of the order.
But I did tell her that if he calls her again to call the police! I offered to drive her over to the police station myself so she could file a police report about the harrassing phone calls.
I told her that I am more than willing to have my attorney file a civil suit against this company. But she is afraid she is causing trouble. The whole thing is stressing her out and she is such a good worker that I don't want to lose her so I feel very upset with this company for false advertising and trying to take advantage of a foriegn exchange student.
If they cancel the order and refund her money then everything will be cool. I'll adjust my feedback on here accordingly."

"Good price on item; shipped as stated but camera packaging was pretty well messed up - complete though. Received phone call prior to shipment with a "hard sell" on purchasing additional items which I declined. That is not a good business practice. Free Starter Package was not shipped as stated on internet ad I purchased from, no mention of additional charges said Free with any camera purchase; new ad today has changed price of camera and particulars of free item. However, by submitting this review, I will receive my Starter Package. So be it.
