"This site appears to have been around for a long time.... and it is great! TOTALLY ADDICTING! I have purchased a few sunglasses and a couple eyeglasses with prescription lenses in the past and I have loved them all. Recently, I purchased a pair of Kaenon eyeglasses with prescription lenses and I will admit that I was a little hesitant this time b/c I the frames looked big. I wanted the bigger look.... kind of like Britney Spears on X Factor (the episode where she crimped her hair).... but I was not sure how big was too big. The customer service rep helped me pick them out and reassured me that they would be perfect! She was right! I love them! Now, if only the rest of me looked like Britney Spears (the new and improved, not the old crazy Brit) HAHA! I highly recommend this site.... and their staff is very kind and intelligent. Thanks FramesDirect.com.... I'll be back! :)"

I just wanted to let you all know how much I love my sunglasses. My boyfriend bought me a pair of Maui Jims that were Tokyo Tortoise with a rose lens. They are Amazing! They fit perfectly, look great and arrived in mint condition.

"Frames Direct shipped the wrong prescription of contacts. When I called customer service, they seemed to know right away without me having to say it what was wrong. They emailed an RMA for me to return the wrong ones and said they would be shipping out the correct prescription. I sent the old ones back, 3 days later got an email that they had received them and yet I had not received the correct ones they had supposedly shipped to me. "They should arrive by Friday" On Friday I called, "They should arrive by next Tuesday" On Tuesday I called, oh, they should be there by tomorrow. "Can I please have the tracking number for them?" I'll have a representative call you back with that and the customer service girl Alma hung up without asking for my phone number. You guessed it...I haven't received a call with a tracking number. I will not be ordering contact lenses from Frames Direct ever again, disappointing and unacceptable experience! "

"I am very disappointed with your services. I initially ordered my prescription sunglasses on 09/25/2012. I filled out the form on-line and submitted my prescription as recommended. Got a phone that day saying every thing had been received and that i should expect my glasses within 15 days. I received them on the 10th of October, but the prescription was incorrect. I apparently didn't fill out the on-line form correctly, but I guess nobody looked at the prescription I sent in, as it was the correct one and nobody called to say there was a discrepancy between the on-line order and the Dr.'s script. I spoke with the optometrist that worked on my order and he admitted there was a mix up. I returned the glasses by UPS ( as i wanted to get them back asap) and they were received in your offices on 10/12/2012. I called your representative Karen K on 10/17/2012 and was told one of the lens had been broken at the lab and that they were being worked on. Further she stated they would be ready in 4-5 business days. Then I called again on the 23rd and spoke with Laura, who told me they had just been received in the lab in NY???? I then spoke again with Karen K who told me they were on schedule to be done shortly. It is now October 30th and I have not yet received my sunglasses, nor have I had any indication when I will receive them. I initially was really excited about your services but as of today I am very very disappointed. "

"Hello,
I would just like to thank you guys for providing such an outstanding product! I was skeptical about ordering glasses online but after receiving my new glasses yesterday I will NEVER use another company! I usually don’t write back to a company about a product but I almost cried when I seen my glasses; my prescription is pretty strong (-8.00) and I have had to deal with people making comments about how thick the lens are since elementary school but the glasses I ordered from you guys look normal! I have always ordered high index lens but they have never looked this thin! I would also like to thank Mikki for making sure the prescription was correct and quickly responding to my emails.
It seems like this company really cares about their clients and I will be recommending you guys to everyone I know who wears glasses! Once again, thank you so much for this amazing product, I couldnt be more happy with my new glasses!!!!

"I placed my order and I was contacted very quickly that my item was on back order and they gave me other options. I checked other places but every one had it on back order. I really wanted my frame so I waited. They kept me in the loop and let me know when my frame came in. They didn't charge my card until my glasses went to the lab. I love my Prada glasses!"

"Although everyone was very friendly, there were several problems with my order. The first pair of glasses I purchased I received a call staying they no longer make them in that size. No big deal, I ordered them in the size smaller. I was then informed a few days later that the smaller size would not ship for a week because of inventory delays. Again no huge deal, I can wait a week. I called customer service back a week later because I still hadn't heard anything about my glasses shipping, they told me they would ship on Monday the 15th of October. Good deal, but I was moving so I changed my address with customer service, I received an updated address email. So I thought all was finally falling into place, them I got an email on the 12th saying the smaller size was back ordered and unavailable. However, the size I had originally ordered to begin with that was supposedly unavailable because it was no longer made was now available.... Which made no sense. But fine, I reordered the larger size and customer service updated my shipping to priority and knocked off $20 from my order which was appreciated. So I got my shipping confirmation today... And it is being sent to the wrong address. So where I stand right now is customer service is trying to figure out how to get them to me. Although this has been a very very very long and annoying process, at least customer service was helpful and nice and are trying to sort things out "

"Sent me glasses that were damaged from improper assembly (stripped threads on one side which was then jerry-rigged together with a larger screw). Damaged finish on frames from tool slippage. Tried to contact customer service with no response and have filed dispute with credit card company. I expect better when I spend $300 on a pair of glasses..."

"The first pair that I ordered from them came on time, and I was very pleased with the product. I decided to order another pair because they were still running their fall special, and they offered an extra $20.00 discount to be used within 90 days. However, even though that pair again arrived on time, the OS (left) lens prescription was incorrect, as validated by my local optician. Possibly could be because I did not resend my prescription, but checked the "use the prescription on file" box, which is my current prescription. I returned the glasses, and they emailed me that they did receive them, so we'll see how they are about resolving the issue. They did seem attentive to the issue."
