"I want to be satisfied with my purchase through gainsaver.com but I am having a difficult time with it. I received my shipment in a very timely matter. I ordered the computer on a Friday morning and had it by noon the following Tuesday. I was thrilled with this. The computer came well packaged and was in very good visual shape for a used device. I even received a bigger hard drive than what I was charged for and the operating system installed was the most current version instead of OS X 10.4 as advertised on the site. The problems I have had is that I received a mouse with a four way directional scroll on it, that would not scroll up. I sent an email to the service department, as instructed by the rep on the phone, to have this replaced. I never received confirmation that my request had been completed but today a new mouse showed up on my doorstep today. I was thrilled!!! Until I opened it. What they had replaced it with was a pro mouse which offers no type of scroll function on it at all. I don't know if this was the mouse that I was intended to originally receive but it is not what I need and is not an equal replacement to the one originally sent to me. My other concern is that I paid an extra 25$ for the diagnostic service that Gainsaver offers. I don't know if the mouse is one of the things checked but I am unhappy that I received something not in working order when I paid for a service to guarantee everything was in working order. Lastly, the keyboard and the mouse that I received were disgustingly FILTHY, this may have something to do with the lacking function of the original mouse."

"Without a doubt this was the worst customer service i have ever had to deal with. i was shipped a bad machine. not gain savers fault. but if you are unlucky enough to have to go thru the return process with this company, good luck. 4 times i was told my phone call would be returned within the hour or that same day. did not happen. twice i was left on hold for more than 30 minutes, with the record coming in at 48 minutes before i hung up. the worst however was a woman working with the companies customer service that was just rude and flat out mean. the minute i said anything about a return her voice became full of attitude. i spoke to this woman on several different occasions as I'm sure the staff at gain saver is not huge and was surprised by the fact that no mater how pleasantly i tried to present my situation the "attitude " always came back. Gain saver? if your reading this, im sure you know who this woman is. she is doing you no favors in customer service. trust me. the one bright spot was an employee named Steve Harper. the only employee who gave me his name and extension #. altho he was guilty of a few un returned calls, i got the impression he was genuinely trying to help me and resolve the issue. i finally received a replacement for the item i returned and it works great. just a head ache to get there."

"Seller is extremely uncompromising with military service members stationed abroad. Had an issue come up with an order, regarding my shipping and billing address being different, and a driver's license FAX was the only solution they would accept. No military license accepted.

"I ordered a Mac Pro from gainsaver in early January. The day after I ordered the computer they called me to let me know the computer I ordered was not in stock but they had a very similar model available. It was similar in price so I took that one instead. Later that day the item was shipped. I then decide to look up reviews about the shipping speed and came across many negative reviews and became very concerned. I waited til the computer arrived and that is when I ran into a problem. I was not home when the computer arrived so I called ups to schedule a pick up but they said that gainsavers had a block from me doing so. I called gainsavers twice trying to work something but they were very short with me. I was able to move a studio session at my recording studio so I could stay home and get the computer. I was very concerned about the quality of my computer because of the reviews I've read. But to my surprise the computer was packed amazingly and has been working fine for one week! I know A LOT about macs and this computer is in top shape! All in all a great computer with some "okay" customer service."
