"Sunday I read a reply gameve posted on amdforums.com in regards to a sale on xp2100 t-bred b processors for $89 shipped, on the rim and out the door, no surprise charges, great price.
I ordered the processor online Monday evening and this morning, Friday, the fedx guy had a present for me, what else can you ask for.
At this point I'm very satisfied with their service and excellent value price on a killer processor.
I'll probably be purchasing my next video card from them as well.
Keep it up gameve and you'll definitely be getting more of my business."
".The overall service was very good...the problem with the ship to address was fixed quickly, and the order was shipped with in 3 days. I am building a new PC for a friend. I chose GameVE.com because of a very good price"
"Had a minor issue with an NF7-S mobo from gameve so I called Lawrence @ gameve. He was very supportive and suggested I return it for an exchange with no restocking fees. Again great customer service!
My only complaint was instead of 2 days to get here it took 1 week - I'm hoping this is due to the increased business they're getting!"
"Ordered a Sapphire Radeon 9500 from them. Arrived in good condition, exactly as advertised and with some accessories. An excellent experience overall."
"Very satisfied, ordered a gf4 mx440 with free shipping option shipped next day and arrived in three days from cali to ny. Very good prices and service."
"Whatever you do, don't pay any attention to their online descriptions of their case fans for sale. What you order AIN'T what you gonna get. You're thinking, "Case fans? Big deal." Right?
I ordered 1 blue **UV** fan- I got 1 blue **LED** fan. No biggie. They screwed me on a UV fan.
Awhile later, for a couple new systems for customers, I ordered 4 blue **UV** fans (thinking, from past experience, I'd get 4 **LED** fans), I get 1 blue **LED** fan and 3 tri-lite **LED** fans. Okay, real nice. Now, I'm starting to get pi$$ed. Maybe the site descriptions are messed up??
Earlier this week, I ordered 4 blue **UV** fans /thinking/ I'll get 4 **LED** fans, and I get 4 blue **UV** fans.
You can't make this stuff up. Best part [for GameVE] is, it costs me more time and money to exchange for correct items. That's okay. A nice little dispute will get my money back and teach them a lesson. :)"
"Excellent Price. Fast shipping too. I had a problem (my fault) but resolve quickly and with ease."
"I ordered a 512MB stick of GeIL PC3200 Ultra from GameVE. It arrived quickly and in excellent packaging. The RAM works extremely well, and is far above the listed specs. I will definitely order from GameVE again. Also, as a side note, I personally don't care if a site charges my credit card when the order is made, or if they occasionally make a mistake and an item is out of stock. I don't expect world-class service from low-priced websites, and I think a lot of people leaving comments on Resellerratings should consider this. I have seen so many "Very Dissatisfied" comments for the most MINOR things! Anyway, GameVE did not charge my card early, and the item I ordered was in stock."
"I was sceptical about ordering from this e-seller because their rating is not very good. But they had a GF4 Ti4200(64MB) for $114 and I needed one quick and cheap. Because of their rating I called customer service (4 min. hold time)to see how many they had in stock (info not provided in order proccess). They have an option for "rush" order proccessing for $3.99. Decided to give it a shot since their site says 1-3 days for order proccessing. "Rush" proccessing means they will get it shipped the same day. Well, I ordered mine on thurs. morning and it arrived next day. I was very surprised to see it so quick because I went with the standard free shipping (FedEX ground express or something like that). But they are in cali and so am I. Product arrived in perfect condition. Will buy from again.
Update:
The Ti4200 I purchased from this reseller lasted 24 days. Currently experiencing their RMA proccess and will provide another update of that experience when it is completed."
"Ordered a AMD XP 2400 RETAIL CPU,
received the order in less than a week.
Packaging was perfect. Will order from them again."
"Gameve.com has been one of the best sites I've purchased my PC hardware from. My order was processed and received quickly and painlessly. The price I paid was excellent, and I would gladly do business with them again."
"Very pleased with service.
Ordered an abit ti4200 64mb OTES with free shipping on the 17th (presidents day), received it on the 19th without a hitch.
If need be, I would happily order from them again. "
"I ordered an OEM ATI Radeon 7500 All-In-Wonder on Sunday, and the card had arrived exactly as ordered on four days Thursday, even with the free shipping options and nearly the best price on the web to boot. No complaints here."
"I ordered an Abit motherboard and an AMD 2100+ microprocessor from GameVE, because of their highly competitive pricing. I wanted the retail packaging because I am a new computer builder, and I wanted to have the full factory packaging and warranty. As I worked through the website to place my order, I was asked if I wanted to combine the motherboard order with an order for the CPU. I was already going to buy the CPU anyway so I said OK. I had already researched out the pricing, and I would get a slightly better deal by ordering the two units together. Nothing was said about the CPU being anything but a retail packaged unit.
When my order arrived, I found that the CPU was already installed, and that it was an OEM unit. This was a major disappointment. I called GameVE to inquire as to what happened to the retail unit that I ordered. I found that the customer service people had extremely poor communication skills. I was told that the website clearly indicated that the CPU would be an OEM unit. I informed them that nowhere on the page that I ordered from, was anything said about the CPU being OEM. That was the end of the conversation as far as they were concerned.
After some unhappy e-mails to GameVE, I wrote the whole thing off to experience. The computer that I built is awesome, and I had some other very fine experiences with on line sellers.
What did I learn from the experience? Don't buy from people who can't communicate. If you can't carry on a conversation with the customer service person, how will you ever work out any problems that may arise? Buy from a quality company. There's always one available."
"Prices on the website were very competitive, and the listed stock was also varied. What looked like realtime inventory on the site was actually a farce as over hald my order was on back order, and I recieved ZERO notification. Billed on credit card before anything was shipped, and whole order was held up under unnanounced back order was filled. Throughout the ordeal (3 weeks!) I was given NO notice. Also - chip listed on site XP 2400+ (333fsb) does not actually exist (I foolishly trusted their specs). On hindsight they have denied any false listing, and I have no case. When I called, I was put on hold for 10-15 min each time, and everyone I talked to told me a different thing."
