"I was concerned by the number of negative reviews that are out there regarding Garden Winds replacement canopies. We took a chance and ordered a replacement top and bug screens for our Sears gazebo. It was either that or replace the entire gazebo. Several New England months in, everything seems fine. The top was quite difficult to install due to the extremely tight fit. I had to leave it connected to all but one arm for a few days to stretch out. Even then, it was quite difficult to get the cover over that last arm. I was concerned that I might rip the cover. Eventually I was able to get it all the way on. The cover is very taunt which prevents any rain puddling on it, which was the downfall of our previous cover so I think the difficult installation may be a necessary evil. There was one side pocket missing on the top which I’m sure we could have returned the top over but my wife is an experienced sewer so she added that pocket. If it had been a corner pocket, I don’t think we would have attempted the repair ourselves. As fall arrives we will remove the cover and store in inside for the winter. Longevity will be the next test. Hopefully we can get several seasons out of it. "
"I stumbled across this website trying to find a replacement canopy for a gazebo I had NO info on. I texted a picture of my gazebo to the number on the site and just by that, they sent me a reply with the cover that should fit. "We did a ton of searching, and got assistance, and yet it was the wrong thing. We were looking for replacement shades for a three tier umbrella we bought at Costco. And even though the picture was identical to our umbrella, and the sizes all matched exactly. When we received the “replacements” they were incorrect and would not fit our umbrella. Also the material was not of the same quality as it was much thinner and lighter weight than the Sunbrella fabric we had. It was much closer to lightweight Nylon “parachute” material. We returned the product and were only refunded a portion of the cost, less the return price for shipping."
"Well the web site said this was an exact replacement for my Walmart 10X10 gazebo canopy. Unfortunately it wasn’t. I ended up buying a geometry kit for $12 dollars and making holes in the four corners. I don’t think In the future I’ll be buying from Garden Winds."
