I replaced this one with an LA 500 and Bill at Gatecrafters helped me to work out how to use parts from my old gate that did still work and connect them up to the new LA 500 opener. He also helped to show me additional components to make it have the particular features I wanted. They also have great videos. "
"We have had nothing but problems with Gatecrafters. Our salesperson was David Rivera; customer service contact was Claudia Cohn; Louise Johnson is another name who sent emails to us.
Initially, it took much longer than promised for us to receive confirmation of receipt of our order for a gate, and when we finally did receive confirmation, it was for a gate with the wrong specs. Then, it took more than 6 weeks for the gate to be built. Finally, and this problem is ongoing---after having the gate delivered to our home and not the property where it will be installed which is 70 miles from our home, we received email from Ms Cohn stating that there is a "sled" attached to the bottom of the gate that must be returned to them and since it hasn't been returned, they will take $200 + "rental fees" from my credit card. We had no prior information about this "sled" and since the gate is not at the location where it will be installed, we have not removed any of the packaging from it. This is the type of thing internet users are cautioned about---allowing credit card information into the wrong hands. We did not authorize Gatecrafters to take a penny more than the ~$1,600.00 we already paid for an un-extraordinary 10'4" gate. Had we known about the "sled" and extra significant hidden charges, we would never have placed an order with Gatecrafters.

"Estate Swing E1000D Operators work great. I had a couple issues with installation that weren't covered in the instruction manual or video. I was able to contact someone on Sunday evening around 7:30 and get the information I needed. Backing out of the driveway this morning was a breeze and I didn't have to get out of the truck. Should have done this a long time ago!"

"I bought an Auto Gate opener (Sentry 300) from Gatecrafters! Their sales was great. They (mainly Bill Anthony and Denise Samuels) were very helpful. They answered many questions over the phone and email. When I installed the unit I had a few questions. I emailed the company (US Automatic) and Bill Anthony at Gatecrafters. Bill has responded to about 4 emails with answers. He responded with a range of 30 seconds to about 5 minutes. They are awesome!! I still haven't heard back from US Automatic. Their product is great but if you have any questions go with Gatecrafters. Thanks!!!"
