I just recently sent them an iPhone 6s Plus in mint condition (looks like it just came out of the box), and they emailed me back saying that it showed signs of wear and had scratches and adjusted my offer to $20 less than what it had been. I declined and they sent my phone back. Once it arrived, I literally used a magnifying glass looking for any blemishes. There were none to be found. Gazelle deploys this tactic on many of their customers, hoping that they'll go ahead and accept a lowball offer, instead of dealing with the hassle of a return. Please be careful when dealing with this company. They already give you a ridiculously low price when selling to them, the only positive is the experience. Do yourself a favor and double your earnings and just sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Stay away from Gazelle."
