"I do not expect to ever see this review on your website. My wife ordered glasses on the 22nd of November, receive them on the 3rd of December. When she put them on she could not see any better than with her old ones.We contacted your company on Monday the 5th of December. We were told to take the glasses to someone in the area to have them adjusted and check the prescription. Turned out the axis is off. We requested a RMA on Tuesday the 6th and was assured one would be e-mailed that day,nor the next nor the next day. I tried to contact someone for sever hours each day without any luck. Each time that I became next, I would be cut off and have to redial and get to the end of the line. Today after two hours of nothing but busy signals I got to talk to someone and sent sent the RMA.The glasses have been sent back with the request that a full refund be sent to me. I would not recommend your company to any of our friends. This has been a very, very bad exerience to say the least."

"I ordered and paid via Paypal on 2nd Nov. Despite numerous emails and complaints through their web applet/customer service forms, I haven't heard a word back. As of this date I have not received _anything_ from this company (including the courtesy of a reply), and especially not my GLASSES.
I've ordered over 40 pairs of glasses from Zenni without a single problem or complaint. I thought I'd try GlobalEyeglasses.com since they had a B1G1F sale going on.. then MY order was exempt from the B1G1F since it contained sunglasses... ok, they were cheap anyhow (not as cheap as 'the other place' though), so I went ahead with the order.
All I can say is that I am VERY glad I paid via paypal because I know I can get my money back.

"I am very happy with the two pair of eyeglasses I purchased recently. The prescription seems accurate and the frames are very comfortable. I highly recommend. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars was shipping. The shipping was slow, but mostly because I requested tracking from USPS and only received one notice when they reached Brooklyn and nothing more until they showed up in rural Georgia. "I purchased from Globaleyeglasses.com in 2008, and I was rather happy with my purchase. However, in 2011, I purchased eyeglasses from them again, and had a different experience.
When I received my glasses, I had trouble seeing and felt very dizzy. Since I had a large change in prescription, my optometrist told me that I should wear the glasses for some time to adjust. After wearing the glasses for two weeks I still suffered from dizziness. I brought the glasses to my optometrist a week later. He checked the glasses with a lensmeter and told me the glasses were made with the wrong PD. (over 10mm off!)
I sent an e-mail to globaleyeglasses.com regarding the return policy, as they usually do not cover the return shipping. I was hoping they would pay for the return shipping as the error in the prescription resided with them. However, to this day I never received a response to the e-mail!
Now I have a paid for a pair of completely unusable glasses.
Update, 10/28/2011:
Subsequent to posting this review, customer support from globaleyeglasses.com has contacted me. They claim they have never received my initial complaints that I sent six months ago. They have offered to rectify the situation by sending me corrected lenses and an additional pair of glasses with the correct prescription. Customer service was very courteous and accommodating. I will update the review again upon receipt of the new merchandise.
Update, 11/23/2011:
The Company could no longer produce lenses for the frames I purchased, so another free pair of glasses were offered to me. I received both pairs of glasses in good condition with the correct prescription. Customer service was incredibly attentive, obliging and considerate. In light of the lengths the Company has gone through to ameliorate my situation, I will change my rating from one star to five. Highly recommended again."

"I ordered two pair of amber tinted glasses from this company 6-22-11. I received two pair of BRIGHT YELLOW glasses 7-11-11. I called their customer service number and spoke with Pamela that same day. She advised me to send an email with photographic evidence of the mistake, and assured me that if the manufacturing lab made a mistake, then replacement lenses would be made and sent to me, so I did exactly that. After more than two weeks had passed, I had received no lenses, nor any response of any kind. I sent the email with photos again. I received an email from Erica Gonzales stating that a refund would be forthcoming through the same method as payment was made (Visa card). Then a second email from Erica asking me to return the glasses to a Los Angeles address (even though the glasses originally came from Georgia) and to email her the tracking number for a refund to processed. I returned the glasses via USPS with confirmation. They received the glasses 8-29-11 @ 8:43 AM. I have received NO REFUND. I have sent several emails inquiring about the refund with no response, the last one a week ago today. So now, I'm out the cost of two pair of glasses, plus shipping from Georgia, plus return shipping to California, and they now ignore my communications. My advice; DO NOT do business with this CROOKED company!"
