Purchased a “scratch & dent” high end wall mount range hood at a significant discount for our new house back in August. Keep in mind this was a product that was already in stock and should have been in their warehouse. I spent the next 4 months emailing & calling customer service & received answers ranging from “we are waiting on delayed production from the manufacturer” to “it’s probably lost in the warehouse”. Until I received a notice last week that my order has been canceled because this item has “been discontinued by the manufacturer”. Even if the item has been discontinued I purchased a one-of-a-kind item that had already been manufactured! The website even showed a picture of the damage to the hood when we bought it! So, needless to say, I am 4 1/2 months down the road and now have to find and order another hood vent. With back-ups in supply chain & manufacturing I will likely have trouble getting one by the time we need it. Some of the worst customer service & an obviously disorganized warehouse. I will shop and order from build.com from here on out…they have much better customer service & haven’t lost my orders."
