"Bought a microwave. Was sick with flu when it arrived. Packaging looked ok and I was not feeling well enough to fully unpack box. A few weeks later, was recovered from being sick and was ready to install item. I noticed large dent on side of microwave once it was out of the box. Was willing to live with the cosmetic damage as it would be mostly hidden after install. Once installed, noticed dent on front frame of microwave when door was opened. I was mostly concerned of microwave leakage from unit and potential health risk. Reported the damage and was told it cannot be returned because it was already installed. We have purchased a refrigerator, combo washer/dryer and microwave from this site recently. Will never purchase from here again. Buyer beware, absolutely no flexibility with policy on returning damaged items."
"Order placed on 10/12/2021. I was charged for the item at that time. Nothing shipped. They create a shipping label, but don't have the items to ship out. Canceled the order on 10/25/2021 and Goedeker's will not process the cancellation and credit my card. Their warehouse will not respond to 4 inquiries from their customer service reps.

"We purchased 2 end tables on line- one fine, other damaged- clearly- sent pictures, correspondence was good and timely- and seems to be no dispute here-but in limbo still- tech issues with sending RMA so we can exchange- send back and get a new one shipped. There needs to be a work around at this point- since they've tried two different times and I cannot open the links sent to get this going- and we can't proceed.- needs to go up to next level. shipping as we all know is slow on things these days anyway- and we can't seem to get past this bump to even get to that point to resolve this."
"The delivery team were unable to plug my dishwasher into the outlet and recommended I contact an electrician before they'd return. I corrected issue same day and called delivery company same day and requested a future delivery date (1 week later). I requested a manager call to confirm, instead I received a text confirming delivery in 2 days. I called to reschedule and was told that I would have to refuse each delivery over the next 6 days and accept the one I wanted on the 7th day. (what type of customer service is that?) I literally called, and emailed daily hoping they'd just confirm my delivery date. On the 7th day I didn't get a text or call after we'd modified vacation plans to be home for the reschedule which didn't happen. 2 days later I received another text regarding delivery and I didn't respond since that wasn't an acceptable day but they showed up anyway and driver was angry no one was available to accept the delivery. This dance went on for a couple of weeks, eventually I got the install re-scheduled with some assistance from a manager however after the installers left they had to be called back because the dishwasher hose was leaking in my cabinet. A less than satisfactory experience and I won't be ordering anything else from Goedekers in the future as a result. "

Communication after my order was limited to a “Welcome to Goedecker’s” email. There was no email establishing a record of my online order.
I ended up having to cancel my order and did so via phone call to customer service. I was told by the agent that the cancellation was completed and was satisfied with their assurance. However, I did not receive a follow up email with the details of the cancellation. 6 days later an email was sent with an updated shipment window of the item that I had canceled. I now will be making another call to customer service to be certain the cancellation was made.
Communication is so crucial when ordering online and also within company departments. I hope all is as stated to me when I call customer service during their stated hours this Monday. "
