Zero stars if it would let me

"Ordered my appliances for Kitchen remodel at the end of September 2020, no indications of backorder or out of stock on any on the web site, thinking we would receive them in about 4 weeks. I'm now told (November 16, 2020) that there are over 180 items on backorder for the microwave, 7 backordered for the range, 36 backordered for the refrigerator and 77 for the dishwasher. Customer service will not split the shipment if any come in. I'm hoping that we get the shipment by Christmas. Have you ever tried to live without a refrigerator for 2 months...looks like it will be two or more months to go. "

Do Not Buy From This Company!!!

"On September 21st I ordered a dishwasher and was advised it would be available on Sept 25th. I was also told that shipping time is usually 2-3 weeks from the date I placed the order. I assumed that the 2-3 weeks would start on the 25th, when the dishwasher would be available. I am still waiting. If I would have been told that it would take 6-8 weeks, that would have been fine. I understand what's happening with freight, manufacturer's and raw materials. What I don't understand is the constant "Push the issue down the road" approach this company uses. I've been told it's shipped-not true, to find out that this company designates a product as shipped as soon as possible without even having the merchandise stating that then, when the material arrives, it would go straight to shipping without delay. Also not true. I was even told last Monday that the carrier said I should receive it by the end of last week. Another statement not true. Worse yet is that I have initiated almost every conversation requesting information. I have the IM conversations and would be happy to post it all. I cannot express this enough - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Buy local-BTW-During this fiasco, I checked a local store and found that I could buy it and pick it up the same day for almost the exact same amount."

BUYER BEWARE! Absolute WORST

"WORST customer service and buying experience EVER! I would not buy from this company and warn everyone who chooses to to think twice and read everyones reviews! I would give them a -5 if I could.....I placed an order in Sept, after a month, I reached out asking where my shipment was as they already CHARGED ME and they stated due to COVID, delayed until Oct 31. OK, a little disappointing as they should have then removed this item from their site knowing. Nov 5th comes and still no package. I emailed them and now its Dec 31. Not acceptable. I emailed to refund and the response "This will take 10 days as we need to confirm it has not been shipped" WHAT???? You just told me it hasn't. I want my money as fast as you took my money! "

Really bad service no return never ship on time

"i have spent about $1000 and the delivery came about 2 months late. there are some items that i have to return and i am having many problems with that. the company is giving me a very hard time! They have sent me wrong items that are no use to me! Just to get 2 items return i am facing such a hard time. i have called them many times and they wont pick up. "

Three months + and no grill

"This is not due to COVID, it's just poor customer service. I ordered a grill on July 1, 2020. After a few weeks of waiting, calling for status, waiting, calling for status, the grill arrived. When I was halfway through installation, I realized it was the wrong grill. I called the manufacturer to confirm and then called Goedeker. They didn't own the issue and said it was the distributor's fault. I waited a couple of weeks, they asked for proof. I provided all proof that it was the wrong grill and waited a few more weeks, calling in and emailing for status about once a week. I was told it was with the "Critical Accounts Team" and after a few more weeks, they confirmed that I indeed was sent the wrong grill, that they had one in stock and would ship it out. Finally, my grill is coming! But wait, there's more! That was two weeks ago. I've emailed customer service twice and no reply. No shipment confirmation. No calls to arrange to pick up the wrong grill. Don't do it."

Basically a scam

"Terrible experience. They have no idea when or if they'll be able to fulfill your order when you place it. They strung me along for weeks saying that my items were "about to ship". They will tell you they'll call you back, they won't. They will tell you your refund will go through...it won't. I've heard so many different contradicting dates and stories about where my appliances are. I have very little hope that my items will arrive by the time I really need them. They should stop taking orders and help the hundreds of people they've left hanging. "

Bad experience

"I placed an order for a table Aug 7 was told to allow 4 weeks. 4 weeks went by I called they told me because of covid they would ship it out Sept 21. Today I called now it’s on back order Till Oct 25. I requested a refund back 400.00. Overstock does price match which I wasn’t a where of. I placed an order for same table. They guaranteed it would be shipped out tomorrow. To allow 5-7 days. I felt like I was getting the run around here.

BEWARE...

"BEWARE...This company claims to pride themselves on customer service? Not sure why...we ordered an oven from them on August 11, 2020. After Goedeker's delivered the oven on August 29, 2020, we unboxed it and noticed that the whole back and side of the oven was damaged. Within and hour of them delivering it, I called them to make them aware of the situation and emailed the proper pictures showing the damage. It is now, September 9, 2020 and I am still going round and round with this company trying to get something resolved, whether that be order a new oven or come get this one and refund my money. The customer service wait lines are extremely long and then when you have an issue, as we do, the wait for the customer service rep that handles these situations takes way longer than it should. To top that, she only communicates via email and not promptly at that! She has yet to call me to get this situation resolved, even after leaving a message with sales for her to call me. I just left another message with Matthew in sales explaining my frustration with the entire process, he assured me that she would call me back.(We'll see) I wish I would've checked the BBB website before doing business with Goedeker's, as they have an alert on their website that Goedeker's has had many complaints within the last several months! The lack of transparency and communication has been a complete nightmare and we isn't resolved...

Low prices - Cannot fulfill orders, poor customer service

"As with many, a very bad experience. Not checking earlier for any reviews is my problem. I ordered an icemaker in May and have had to email and call constantly to get any kind of status. It's September and still no clear idea of when it will arrive. The only hopeful status update was in my online order that the item was finally at Goedeker's and was finally awaiting shipping. 2 weeks later, no update so I called once again. They said item was damaged and so another had to be ordered which would take another 3 weeks. I would recommend being very aware of what you are considering when ordering from Goedeker's. The prices are attractive and they continue to run deals but it all does not matter if you have to fight to get your product."

Great sales experience, but once they have your money, they just don't care!

"After 3 months of long holds on phone calls, I am pleased to say I finally got 2 of my 3 appliances and thanks to the BBB getting involved, I have a refund on the 3rd appliance. Yes, I saved a bit of money ordering from them, but the hours my husband and I spent on the phone to get our appliances and the refund on the 3rd item was the biggest customer service hassle of my life. I will never order from Goedeker's again, no matter how discounted the price. Worst customer service ever!! "

Had to call our credit card to dispute order

"We ordered a recliner and the delivery date came and went, week after week. We tried to get in touch with the company by phone, email, anything with no response. We ended up disputing the charge with our credit card and got a refund from the bank, who then I assume went after them for the money back. It was a horrible experience. Whatever the reason for this, there needs to be communication. If you are a business who is taking people's money, you owe it to them to be up-front and honest. This company was not. I would not recommend them."

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

"Ordered Undercounter Refrigerator 7/4/2020. Immediately was updated to "backordered appliance". NOT ONE update since my order. I called and was on hold for over 30 minutes with no answer. I emailed twice asking for a replacement model that was not on backorder. NOT ONE RESPONSE!!! I am filing dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. Their prices are NOT worth the hassle."
