"Terrible customer service, they are clueless of what they are doing. I ordered a built-in grill on 5/5/2021, and was told 6-8 weeks, then I get an email on 7/2/2021 that the grill has been discontinued? Why does it take 2 months to notify me that the grill is no longer available? The summer is half over, now I have to find another grill. Now they tell me I have to wait 7-10 days to get back my $2,203.46 back, they sure didn't have a problem charging my credit card immediately when I placed the order, now I have to wait almost 2 weeks to get a refund. "
"DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SHOPPING HERE. I consider myself a reasonable person, and believe I have been generous, kind, and nice to Goedeker's despite the absolute terror they have given us... our experience with Goedekers has been absolute trash. We ordered a full suite of appliances in November of 2020, including a Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Range, Microwave, and Dishwasher. We were told that many of our appliances would be delivered by early January 2021. We are now halfway through June 2021, with NO APPLIANCES. We have called every week for months. Asking. Begging. Pleading for updates. We are always given the answer that the appliances are coming, and soon. We have tried to replace those appliances with others, but Goedeker's isn't really willing to help find ones that would be adequate replacements. We have been lied to repeatedly. I have called asking for any help to understand why we have been given so many false dates of when our appliances will arrive. My last call was to talk to a manager, and in typical Goedeker's fashion, like many of our calls, they have not called us back like they promised.
If you like a company taking your money for months, without any concrete answers, with terrible customer service, and delays in providing your appliances for more than 8 months, than please, please shop at Goedeker's. For any other sane individual, go LITERALLY anywhere else."
"Ordered a dishwasher in January, finally arrived in June. Look I get it's COVID and things are delayed my issue is the horrible communication around the issue and the amount of incorrect information I was given along the way. I was billed then refunded then given E-mails saying my shipment would arrive soon then told it was months away and then asked to give reviews how I like my purchase when it wasn't even shipped yet. Support was hard to get a hold of. Chat line folks really didn't have useful information. When i did get through to managers they were able to give me better information but it was an extremely frustrating process and when the unit did arrive I was never given notice it was dropped off without requiring a signature and it was blocking my car. The whole time their site kept selling units that were obviously way back ordered so I'm sure I wasn't the only frustrated person. "
"Ordered a refrigerator and dishwasher in August of 2020. In April I learned both were still backordered. ( 8 months after order and payment) I spoke to original sales rep and changed to readily available appliances. In May I learned refrigerator was shipping but dishwasher was discontinued. Mind you they have had close to 6K of my money since August. I canceled dishwasher and I am still awaiting refund. The delivery/install company they contracted with installed(?) the refrigerator wrong and left the box filled with styrofoam all over my counters and front yard and refused to take even though I paid for it. I had to go out and purchase tools myself to correct. Appliance came with no manual or warrant info (I have a 10 year warranty) Trying to get hold of customer service with Goedekers in indeed an exercise in patience. Even when you do , nothing is resolved. AVOID this company unless perhaps you live in their area. "
"I never do reviews but I am making an exception for this one. Absolutely the worst place to buy. If I can give Goedeker's negative stars I would, -100 stars. Waited six months and we only received part of our order. Called customer service 20 different occasions and got the run around. Wasted many days and hours on this ridiculous place. All they ever say to me is sorry and all managers are busy. They never call you back when they say they would. They tell you its going to show up and it doesn't. Buyer beware. DO NOT purchase from this place. Just an absolutely awful place. Everything they say seem to be a lie. We will never do business with this god awful place again.

"I placed an order on 17 March 2021 after calling customer support on 30 March they told me my dining table and chairs would be shipped on 01 April and 03 April. After not receiving an e-mail declaring shipment, I called around 10 April and they told me the shipping date slipped to the middle of May around the 17th. Then on May 1st I receive an e-mail from them asking me to inform them if I received my order!! I called them on 6 May and told them it was odd that they were asking me to provide a status report for my order. The representative put me on hold and returns to tell me the items won't be shipping until 14 June!!! So they've been holding over $1000 dollars of my money in their bank account collecting interest while I sit and wait 3-months with zero confidence that the date won't slip another month... I will cancel my order as I think I've been patient enough. BEWARE of these crooks with unsavory sales tactics."

"I ordered a buffet server for almost $500. My credit card was charged a few days later. I waited more than 3 weeks with no order update or shipping estimate. When I called customer service I was told the piece was out stock and "might" be back in stock in July (5 months after charging my card).
I requested a cancellation and 7 days later I am still getting the run around. I have received verbal confirmation that my order is cancelled, but the only email confirmation I have received states "We have received your cancellation request. Once we have received confirmation that your order has not shipped, we will issue your refund. This process takes about 7-10 business days." I have been told twice that a supervisor would call me but that was 5 days ago.

"Ordered $2K+ (range/fridge,etc) November. Called in Feburary - told range in warehouse waiting for fridge (due to covid). Called back later March - now told waiting for range. What? 6 Months and counting although charge reflected on my card day of order. No one answers phone; chat is overseas and useless. If you are persistent in calling, you only get apology after apology but no one does anything. When trying to escalate to supervisor, told no one available. The best you can get is someone telling you they will inform the "leadership committee" but no appliance delivery. Others on line have complained even when you get dates, they move and move and move.

"Ordered microwave and Refrigerator in Sep 2020....Now it's March 2021and I have neither. The microwave is nowhere to be found and I am still waiting on a refund after finally cancelling the order. Refrigerator finally showed up in February but door fell off when they unwrapped it...luckily customer service was quick to NOT respond despite multiple (20) emails from myself over the next month. I heard the trucking company talking to Goedeker customer service while loading the fridge back up and they were shocked at the lack of concern the company had they heard of the issue, so I emailed them immediately to let them know what happened. They never bothered to contact me about the incident until a month later, after I kept sending multiple emails every day, sending an email asking if I wanted to reorder and wait in line again. They have yet to respond with a refund for the refrigerator after my returning their email..so, I tried texting customer service from their website...surprisingly, 4 hours online so far with no response. It's crazy how this company stays in business."
"We ordered washer & dryer back in Aug 2020 at that time no massage about back order. We find out in Sep the washer is back order. Since then we only receive this email "We have requested a specific ship date from the manufacturer. We will update you as soon as we receive the shipping information." You will not get your order because they sell that to people who ordered it with full price and put you back to the list. They are telling us Samsung takes over six mounts to make washer and still not available. We even give them a benefit of the doubt to fix this issue with a substitute but still no guarantee to deliver. What a waste of time. I had to cancel it. "DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt after seeing so many negative reviews over the summer. I understand that the pandemic caused a huge delay in the appliance industry and I also know that people are quicker to leave a negative review than a positive one. Well, needless to say, I learned my lesson. I placed AND PAID FOR an order for a Frigidaire Range on September 7, 2020. I was told that the shipping was delayed due to Covid-19 so my order would be received in 4-6 weeks. In about a month I checked in and was told that it was 1/44 of an order that was shipping out on 10/29. Obviously, that didn't happen. Here I am on 1/12/21 still with no appliance. Every time I have called, emailed, or used the online chat feature, I have been told a different story. I get generic automated emails almost weekly that that they "are in direct communication with the manufacturer" and "As we receive updated information from the manufacturer, we will continue to keep you notified." Well that is not honest at all. I have not received ANY "updated information" at all in 4 months.
I finally reached my limit today when I called again and was told it would be another 4-6 weeks. I have requested my order be cancelled and refunded. We'll see how that goes. I'm not confident at all that it will happen in a timely manner as the only thing they HAVE done in a timely manner is when they charged my card on Sept. 7. "
"On August 24th, 2020, I wanted to get new barstools for the outside cabana. I decided to order 1 to check it out before I ordered all 6. The website said it was in stock, but a couple of days after my order was placed I received an email telling me it was on backorder. I finally received the barstool on October 7th, 2020. When we looked at the stool, we did not like it. It has small staples showing all the way around the back of the stool where the material is attached. It looked very cheaply made and for $225 per stool (That was the sale price) it was ridiculous quality. So we decided to return it.
My first attempt to contact them for a return request was through their website on 10/21/2020. I received no response. I called on 10/26 and 10/27 and left messages. I received an email from them on 10/28 telling me that their contact center has been impacted by COVID-19, and they are working as quickly as they can to respond to each customer, but in the meantime could I please send some photos. They thanked me for my patience. I replied to the email and sent in photos on 11/5. I called and spoke to Alicia on 11/13 who told me that an email had been sent to the manufacturer and that they were awaiting instructions for return to the manufacturer. I should be receiving and email around 11/17-11/18. November 24th, I left a message for a call back at 1:45 PST. Rebekah returned my call and told me she would put me on her personal Follow-up list and discuss with a proper team member to try and expedite this. December 4th I called again. I spoke to an agent who daid they would send my cast to higher management to expedite this matter. On December 14th I left a detailed message for customer service and did not receive a return call. On December 15th I called and spoke to Lacey who kept trying to connect me to a manager while I remained on the phone with her for awhile. She had no luck and said that she would continue and call me back to connect me when she had a manager on the line sometime that day. December 16th I called again and held for 25 minutes not given the option for a callback. I chose to hang up given the amount of time on hold this return has taken so far. On December 17th I called and spoke to someone on the store's main phone line. Nicole was very knowledgeable and was able to finally get this taken care of with a manager! We received an email from a manager with an RMA number that same day! Yay Nicole! NOW, We had to take the item to Fedex, purchase a mailing label and insurance which was recommended by Goedeker's. We are now awaiting our refund which after 2 months will also be Minus the $48.50 original shipping cost for a total of $176.29. And also less our return cost
What a HEADACHE! I will never purchase anything from this place again or recommend them to anyone!"
