"I cannot even begin to tell you the problems I have had attempting to contact this company. Their phone number does not work in that when you press the requisite key, it does not register, and simply keeps putting you in a loop. I have tried emailing (very difficult to find email address), and get a nonsensical response. I ordered a microwave 3.5 months ago and simply want to cancel my order at this point, but they charged me immediately and apparently don't want to give my money back even though the microwave is still on backorder (which I was not told at the time I ordered). "

"One of the worst online experiences ever. I bought a range hood on Feb 23, 2021. It was damaged in shipping via FedEx. After emails and phone calls (plan to be on hold for at least 30 minutes every time you call), and putting the transaction into dispute with Citibank, I got a Return Merchandise Authorization. After more emails and another phone call, I got a return shipping label sent to me. I shipped it back the next day. That was May 3, 2021. I did not get a refund posted to my VISA. The package was received by Goedekers on May 10, 2021. Still no refund. Goedekers sent multiple pages of policy to Citibank. Today, after being on hold for 48 minutes, I talked to a person at Goedekers. They claim they "overlooked" my refund and posted a refund. Citibank confirmed that a refund is pending to my account. For 6 months Goedkers has had my $1002.13. I think I got it back today.
Buyer beware! ZERO stars if I could.

"Ordered my Bosch dishwasher online because it was hard to find, but in stock at Goedekers. I talked to a sales representative who said she would tag it for me so that it would be ready to go once the invoice was finalized. When I ordered it, it was suggested that I also get to add ons for the installation so to be safe, I added them to the order. About two weeks after I ordered, I called to get information on why I hadn't received it yet. I spoke with a sales rep again, who told me that one of the add on parts was not in stock and they were waiting for it to ship my entire order. I asked him how critical this additional part was and he asked me if I was replacing an existing built in dishwasher, or if this was a new build (i.e. first time install). I told him I was replacing an existing unit, and that's when he advised me that I don't even need the part. I appreciate him asking that question and advising me that it wasn't needed, but wish that the original sales person would have asked that same question from the beginning, which would have eliminated the delay in shipping. Goedekers promptly amended my order and refunded the amount of the part, but then it was at least another two weeks before my dishwasher was shipped, and another week or more before it actually arrived. The delivery went smoothly and it is in good condition, however, when we opened it, it had a musty smell to it that actually took a few cycles to eliminate. I'm giving four stars bc in the end, I was able to get a dishwasher that was sold out everywhere I looked, and the delivery was smooth. I removed one star for the unnecessary delay, by either lack of knowledge or attention to detail by the sales person that I originally talked to who could have told me that the additional part I was ordering wasn't necessary.

"I ordered and paid for a Whirlpool Double Wall Oven from Goedeker's 9½ months ago on Nov 8, 2020 and have NOT RECEIVED IT YET!!! Goedeker's has changed and delayed the shipping date more than 10 times!! During the 9½ months that I've been waiting for my oven to be delivered (still ongoing), I've reached out to Goedeker's by calling & emailing them many times! When you call Goedeker's, you have 2 choices - sales or customer service. You can get through to sales quickly & they will take your money quickly but if you want updated information about your order, you need to speak to customer service. Getting through to a customer service representative is a nightmare! I have personally experienced being placed on hold for 2 hours one time and 1½ hours another time!!
Goedeker's excuse for the 9½ month delay and for holding on to my money as an interest-free loan for 9½ months is to BLAME the manufacturer - Whirlpool!! They take NO RESPONSIBILITY for OVERSELLING items that they do NOT have in Stock that they cannot deliver in a timely manner! They have extremely poor inventory control.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has a "CURRENT ALERT FOR GOEDEKER'S" advising consumers to "USE CAUTION WHEN CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH GOEDEKER'S". The BBB received 886 complaints about Goedeker's in the last 3 years and Goedeker's BBB Customer Review Rating is 1.16/5 (Bad). Their BBB reviews contain stories about huge delays and poor customer service!!

"I will NEVER purchase from this company again. Placed an order early this year, they delivered the wrong item and it's been MONTHS and I still do not have the replacement. Their customer service is a JOKE! Waiting on hold for hours, only communicate by email with ZERO response. When I use the "live agent" chat, all they tell me is that we will get back to you. We've spent THOUSANDS of dollars and have nothing to show for it.
This company should close it's doors if they can't deliver product ordered OR communicate what's going on with the order. Don't blame Covid.....Covid doesn't keep your customer service from sending an email or making a call to update your customers on their orders.

"I hardly know where to start, other than I WISH I HAD LOOKED FOR REVIEWS before giving my hard-earned dollars to this company. Everything everyone has said in their reviews, I underline and capitalize. I placed an order in March for 5 major appliances - $8000+. Goedeker's charged my credit card immediately. By May I had received 3 of the 5. In late May I was told 1 of the remaining had shipped to the 'depot' who was waiting for the last piece. I called a few weeks later to find out the status and was told the 'depot' had the 1 piece and was still waiting for the second. On Aug 4 I called; they told me the first piece was waiting to ship from manufacturer in OCTOBER! I told them I wanted to cancel the remaining pieces. They said their finance people would have to contact the manufacturer before issuing my refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said none were available and they would have one call me back. Surprise...no call back. I called again on Aug 6, and had to repeat my story. Same outcome...would have someone call me back, but no call back. I called this morning Aug 9, talked to yet another person - he told me as of June 28, they were gathering the 'pieces' to get ready to ship to me???? It's Aug 9, and the Range is shipping from inside the US and it's taking them 45 days? He said if it has already shipped I will have to pay shipping charges in order to cancel my order. I asked for...yes, a callback from a supervisor. I am astonished this place is still in business. Please do yourself a favor and think before you leap at doing business with this unsavory cheat of a company."
