"I had bought a Groupon and found a better deal 2 days later. Since it was outside the time window to return the purchased voucher myself, I contacted Groupon's customer service by email to get their help in returning the voucher. They emailed me back very quickly and the problem was resolved and the money credited back to me within 2 business days. I'm very pleased with their customer service. The one minor issue is that their customer service email wasn't displayed noticeably on their website, but that could be user error (aka me).

"In the end, the problem was partially resolved. Turns out that I wanted two of the products I was interested in and there only ended up being one available. My question on that is why would 2 be available then?? The error I received made it seem like I was doing something wrong and it took a couple of support folks to figure out the real issue. At any rate, once they did, they were able to enter the order (I think??) and then they said I would receive an email confirming the order but I did not get a confirmation. I would say it was not my most satisfying customer experience."

I was very pleased with the deal I received, as well as the customer service Living Social provided. You don't get customer service like that anymore. "
"First, it is rather difficult to locate a way to reach out to customer service. You had to go to the help page and search for help and say it wasn't helpful before getting the chat option. I had received a couple groupons as a gift and wanted to add them to the groupon app, so I didn't have to print them and carry around the paper. The website and the certificates both said I could add them to the app, but apparently there is no way to actually do that. As I was asking customer service about this the chat back was about an offer to buy more groupons. That is not a way to provide customer support. When someone is having a technical issue with your service the last thing they want is more of your service. I will not be buying any groupons."

"I have bought many Groupon deals over the past year. Buying "things to do" from Groupon makes me go out and do things, see new places, meet people and all while saving money! I've probably used 30 Groupons over the past few months and had no trouble using any of them. From distillery/brewery/vineyard tours to restaurants to concerts, all have worked flawlessly. I've had to work with customer service a few times. Most recently because I inadvertently redeemed a Groupon while I was showing it to a friend. They actually put the Groupon back in my account. Customer service has always been easy to work with and resolved my issues - even when the issue was my fault."

After forwarding my email to customer service and speaking with 2 agents, they could not resolve the issue nor the glitch on their end. And today I receive an email saying we were so happy to resolve your issue... What?! This agitated me so much. Never again. Keep your deals and the headaches associated with them!"
