"I contacted groupon with and issue with their starbucks offer. It's by invite only and when I received my email invitation I clicked on the Buy button and said it was already purchased. I contacted customer service and they had me screenshot my email and every error message. After 5 emails to them they just stopped responding. I contacted them again and another rep said she could not help and than gave 4 different excuses why she just did not want to be bothered. Than I get an email saying we are so happy we resolved your issue. NO, you did not. This is not the first problem with their system and they are not capable of fixing. Hate groupon!!!"
"This was my first time ordering with Groupon on some movies that I wanted converted from LegacyBox. They
advertise that they do Super 8 movies, so I went ahead and bought from Groupon. Problem is I will never buy from
them again. I sent them and they did the prints but took forever to get back to me about the movies. They only
contact you thru email and can't call them. They sent one box back with no explanation and then the other box
came back with movies that weren't done but the slides were done. I contacted them thru email, and after trying to
communicate with them with much back and forth, they finally told me they couldn't do them. Only problem was
they wouldn't reimburse me my money and Groupon wouldn't ever because apparently they have a time limit which
I wasn't aware and LegacyBox took forever to tell me that they couldn't convert my movies. So, I am out 400.00 dollars. They didn't resolved my problem at all and said, sorry Charlie. BEWARE! "

"This is the 2nd time that Groupon has failed to send my Groupon Getaway to the place we booked. I made the reservation in January and called in March to confirm...they never got it and were sold out. They were able to get us into a mediocre room which wasn’t the Suite with a fireplace and tub I had booked and paid for. The hotel did what they could to make it right. Groupon, on the other hand, just gave me an apology and nothing else. Don’t book a getaway-call the place directly and book through them. Tell them you saw the deal online and ask if they will match the price. Groupon gets half the money...and, from my experience, they don’t send the reservation and rely on the hotel to right their wrong. Absolutely horrid customer service. "
"I had an issue with receiving goods from a supplier that I had purchased a Groupon redemption code for. The supplier would not respond to any of my emails over the course of 3 weeks (4 emails). I contacted Groupon via the Groupon chat and was lucky enough to be connected with "Hendru M.". During the course of the chat I was pulled away from my desk at work and the chat was ultimately disconnected due to my own inactivity. BUT HAVE NO FEAR :-) Hendru M. followed up via email and seemed genuinely concerned with the fact that I didn't receive my goods and didn't hear back from the company. Hendru ensured that my concern was followed up on and within a few days I received a response from the delinquit company indicating that had shipped goods (no doubt thanks to the effort of the Groupon service rep). Hendru then followed up with me to make sure things were being taken care of. Very polite. Fast responses. Extremely diligent and patient. If all customer service reps were this good, I would deal directly with them and no one else. A+++++++ "

"Reserved a hotel room and it was not sent to the hotel. Luckily I called to verify with the hotel and they didn’t have any information. I called Groupon and just wanted to cancel it and I was told that I couldn’t, because the hotel had to grant the refund. The hotel didn’t have a reservation for me, so I don’t understand how they could process a refund. I went round and round with the customer service rep and after spending thousands on Groupons I am done! It was a complete mess and I will not use them for any traveling going forward!"
"The times I’ve had to reach out to Groupon to clear up issues, they’ve been great. Whether they kindly had to apologize and tell me there was nothing they could do about the situation to refund me via Groupon bucks. Some places have such horrible customer service that it spoils the entire experience. Also, LOVE their chat feature. Wish every online business could follow their lead."

"While ordering a $106 item, the Groupon App shutdown and started my order process all over. It wasn't until later that I learned that my order had been processed twice and I had been charged twice. When I contacted Groupon, they advised that I only have 2 hours to cancel an order. Well I didn't receive a notification of the transaction until 5 hours later! I had no way to cancel within 2 hours when I didn't even know about the extra charge until 5 hours later. Groupon used to help but they just kept replying about the 2 hour rule, they would not work with me or acknowledge the failure of the website. Had I gotten the order notification within minutes like you normally do, I would've canceled in time. I will never use Groupon again and will have to dispute through my credit card!"

"There is literally NO point in buying Groupons since most businesses will happily honor the deal stated in the Groupon deal, and they actually prefer that you do not buy the Groupon. Wasted my money on a $50 Groupon and now it's useless because it's expired. I should have just waited til I got to the store itself."
