I contacted support to request assistance with cancelling, support took 3 days to respond and said they could not refund because it was past the 24 hour time frame. All i really wanted was to apply the 25% promo code that I forgot to apply (to save $49.00 on my purchase). Very disappointed."

"Groupon's "procedures" on how they handle the receipt of damaged items is the worst in the industry. I will never order merchandise from them again. Also, their main focus is the satisfaction of the merchant. I own a charger that NEVER worked and I received a storage unit that was damaged. No accommodation was made besides having to return the item to the post office. Oh, did I mention that I am only 5'0 and the item was nearly my height and I STRUGGLED, hurting myself getting it to the post office. Avoid ordering anything but tickets from them. "
"Purchased Groupon as a gift for my father. He was not able to either view the voucher OR link to is account. the Chat help kept asking him for an order number (not sent with a gift groupon) which went nowhere.
I kept requesting to get the voucher sent to him directly - not possible.
I ended up having to jump in to resolve the issue on my end rather than someone simply re-sending to him the voucher."
"Bought a groupon and viewed the voucher. Supposedly if you view it, no refund is available. I called the vendor and because of the groupon procedures, they were unable to deliver the product by the time I needed it. So I did live chat with groupon support and asked for refund. At first I was advised I could use the value of the voucher for a different groupon offer but I didn’t need any others. So there live chat agent finally got a refund approved and issued right then. Mission accomplished!"

"I purchased a groupon for a massage at body lounge spa near Sherman oaks. The spa wouldn’t accept my groupon but said that if I purchased a regular massage from them I could make an appt. When I reached out to groupon, they said I could transfer that money to another groupon deal. I had originally purchased the deal for someone that was never able to use it and considering the situation I am very displeased with the fact that I didn’t get a refund. "
"I bought a Groupon/LivingSocial voucher. It is an amazing deal for 15 bottles of wine from a company called Heartland and Oak. When I went to go use the voucher it wouldn't work, it gave me an error message basically say I already used it when in fact I had not. I took the obvious step and contacted Heartland and Oak about the voucher. Their very astute costumer service person helped me and let me know that someone else had used that number I had, meaning Groupon had given two people the same voucher number. She told me I should contact them. Upon her recommendation I contact groupon... After talking to one live chat person who told me how to use my voucher, then signed off before I could tell her that's not the issue, receiving an email telling me how to contact Heartland and Oak (again NOT THE ISSUE), another live chat rep who did understand the problem but had to escalate it (have yet to see those results), and receiving one email saying we are so glad we resolved your issue today (you did not...?) I have had just about enough of these idiots. All I need is simply a new voucher number. I've said this EVERY TIME I talk to someone. Why is this so hard to comprehend?!"
"I had purchased a Groupon from a business that asked me to cancel it in order to avoid a service fee. I found this odd and used Live Chat Customer Support to help me cancel this purchase. Even though I passed my three day refund window, I received a full refund. The service was fast and accommodating! They were very polite and I couldn’t have asked for a better response. "
"My credit card was charged but I was never given a confirmation number. When I emailed I was told they had no record of it. They wanted me to send them another card so they could charge me again.
