"I ordered a product and groupon said something wron with my cc that I use all the time and had just used 2 days prior. I reenetered the same card and they said they would reorder it. It wasn’t ordered and every time I wrote them, they didn’t help. By the time I ordered again, it had gone up $40. No satisfaction. Had to order from somewhere else and of course it cost me more money."

"I have purchased alot of items and services on Groupon for myself and gifts. Some purchases with good sellers go through smoothly but you have no recourse with the problem sellers or items dealing with customer service. Recently I had an issue with a service I purchased as a gift and I received many emails from Groupon which stated "sorry there is nothing we can do to help you" so essentially I have wasted money purchasing through Groupon. The last email I received today was "we are so glad your problem is resolved!" which it wasn't - not even close. If Groupon is going to become a better reseller they need to screen their sellers for quality and have a more knowledgeable and helpful support team and actually take care of the problems that will inevitably happen with such a variety of goods and services. So resorting to contacting my credit card company was my only option and I will think twice in the future before I purchase anything on Groupon again."

"Purchased groupon for Atlantic Water Tours. Had a problem with vendor from very start. Groupon was wonderful in trying to resolve issue. Groupon personnel kept in touch with me on a regular basis to check on status. However, as groupon, my opinion is you should no longer use Atlantic Water Tours or sell their products. Their office staff are rude, unprofessional, do not respond in a timely manner and do not specifically answer a specific question. Their product was horrible, boring - one and done. I traveled with a group and none of us were pleased. Boat trip is about an hour, we saw about 15 minutes of St. Augustine lights. Boat staff were pleasant and safety minded, made sure everyone was safe getting on and off. But it was a boring ride. See much more on the Red Train or Trolley in Nights of Lights, Holly Jolly Ride. Skip the boat ride and stick to the train/tram, so much more enjoyable. But again, dealing with groupon was wonderful. "
"It's very rare that sales support will go above and beyond to delight the customer. Most companies will do the bare minimum and focus on volume and just putting out fires and band aids. My experience was one of the rare instances that this happened. Their response to a missing part was both communicative and generous. I will not go into the details of their response, only to share that they made my Holiday season. Keep up the great work Groupon."

"Having received glass bowls in an envelope you can imagine the state they arrived IN, not know the contents I opened the envelope the shard of glass embedded into my finger causing it to bleed and required assistance to get part of the glass out, so I asked for a refund from Groupon, sent them photos showing the shatter bowls and this was their reply,

1) If you think you can live with the order you received, I'm happy to add £5.00 in Groupon credit to your account as a gesture of goodwill and you can keep the item. Groupon credit is available immediately and can be used on almost anything at Groupon.co.uk (SO GROUPON THINK I CAN LIVE WITH A BAG LOAD OF GLASS, AND INSTEAD OF MY MONEY BACK I CAN HAVE £5 CREDIT)
Alternatively...
2) You can return the item to us, and I'll be happy to process a full refund as soon as we receive it. (RIGHT I AM GOING TO TOUCH THIS BAG FULL OF GLASS WHICH I HAVE ALREADY CUT MYSELF UPON AND FOR WHICH THEY HAVE PHOTOS - DO THEY NEED THE GLASS AS WELL WHAT CAN THEY USE IT FOR - I TELL YOU WHAT GROUPON WHY DONT I JUST SUE FOR THE DAMAGE TO MY FINGURE - I SUGGEST IF YOU WANT THE GLASS YOU TAKE THE RISK AND PICK IT UP YOURSELF.

GROUPON IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS YOU NEED TO DO BETTER THAN THIS WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE USING THIS FIRM AGAIN, this was the last straw, waiting weeks for items promised within 7 days, trying to cancel orders when waiting over a month only to be ignored, my annoyance can go on, and as to their black Friday, what joke that was! Then this!
