"They are not responsible for verifying that these places actually exist. I bought a Groupon for a massage and it turns out that it was a scam because the place does not exist. I just found an empty office. and when I call Groupon they tell me to send me a code to use that money in another service, that I have only 24 hours to do it or I lose the money. They have not sent me anything. and it's been more than a week"

GROUPON ISNT HELPFUL

"You guys advertise discounts with no full clarity on the product.. To me product knowledge is the most important part of the business. The chat rep couldnt help and told me to do her job.. Very unprofessional.., She advised me to contact company directly.. Customer service would be let me attempt to reach them for clarity on this offer that neither myself or you dont understand what the offer entails.. And she went as far to say "I think" this is what they mean"....Oh Gee Thanks now let me use my credit card and pay for something GROUPON advertises with their domain name on their URL assuming liability for a transaction they are not even sure about or pay their employees to research. OH BUT no they wanted me to research what the offer means.. Not to mention this was my first experience with GROUPON.. Definitely removing the app.. I wont even continue to type on how misleading the email you sent me saying "Im glad we can help you with the matter" HOW? dilusional maybe"

Poor Customer Service

"Bought a message coupon and when I got there it was someone that i went to a few years back. They refused me service due to it was for new customers only. It said that in the fine print to. Had I even seen it I never remember going there any way and would of bought it. Told groupon what happened and they said not are problem. So I'm out the hole amount. Such poor poor customer service. Glad there are other companies selling now with a lot better return program. The market is ripe for these companies to take Groupon business scents they don't want mine. Never buying one again. If you do make sure you don't miss dotting a I are you will be where I'm at."

" They sold weight-loss patch products on the website which contains a dangerous chemical that will burn and scar your skin . I did not try the product within the 14 day window of purchase and when my skin reacted, burned, and scarred, I let Groupon know I did not try the product within the 14 day window of purchase and when my skin reacted burned and scarred I let them know about it . They said my purchase was past the 14 day return policy and that even though it is dangerous they would not refund me. That is unfortunate as it shows that they don’t help customers that buy a dangerous product even though it is beyond their window. They need to never market the product on their website again, buyer beware."

Needed Help With Unused Groupons

"I purchased 5 Groupons on a recent trip and was only able to use 3. I needed help exchanging the unused Groupons for credit. I got the support I needed, traded them in a purchased another Groupon to use on another trip. One more reason you can’t go wrong with Groupon. It’s a win-win!"

I had a problem and Groupon immediately responded

"I received a new voucher when the previous purchase was not good.
I was happy that online chat response was fair and easy to communicate with.
I only wish it was easy to get a telephone number of customer service since
It can be frustrating when you are typing. But, in the end Groupon responded in
a professional manner.
4 stars because I really want to speak to someone instead of typing.

Lack Of Response and Communication

"I booked two rooms in a Hotel for my wife's birthday via a 2 groupons I purchased. We had to move the dates with the hotel in which they only moved one of the two accomodations. We had to cancel the accomodations with the hotel and they gladly refunded our money back as groupon credits. I have been going back and forth with groupon which takes forever for them to respond. I requested a conference call with groupon and the hotel and groupon has not been very helpful with this.
I have used groupon for many good reasons but this is one HUGE reason NOT TO USE!

Customer service is horrible!!

Skip the Goods

"One more negative experience with Groupon Goods. Bought a Christmas gift for my wife in October. She didn't like it and I learned a hard lesson about returns at GG. 14 days is all you get to return. 14 days!!!

I've been a loyal Groupon shopper so I contacted customer service to see if there was anything I could do. Yup, 14 days, sorry...

Then, after telling me to **** off, they had the audacity to rub it in my face by sending the following follow up email - "We’re so glad we could resolve your issue today!"

Needless to say I will NOT be considering GG for ANYTHING in the future. Unsubscribed from emails. Groupon go pound sand!!!

Customer Support needs to read the information.

"I purchased a dog wash Groupon December 20, 2017 voucher 7158750. The company moved with no forwarding address. December 21, 2017 I sent an email stating I wanted my money back and why. December 23, 2017 I got an email from Groupon support stating I could have my money back or do a transfer, on the same day I requested to get my money back, this is Request: 68417406. December 25, 2017 I get an email stating my voucher has expired and they closed my ticket.

What is wrong with these people? Event the so called "Trade In" option to trade the Groupon I have for another doesn't work. I want my money back.

Groupon refunded purchased when problem with redeeming vendor's code on website failed.

"After receiving the Dealflicks voucher with a code to enter on the vendor's web site to redeem the purchase, I had problems with the website not accepting the code that was provided. After contacting the vendor, I was not satisfied with the response when they responded with the same instructions I followed that was provided on the voucher for redemption. The vendor's response was a disappointment, but Groupon came through to resolve a customer issue with a vendor and was credited for the purchase. I would continue to use Groupon, but would be reluctant to buy from Dealflicks."

"I got the tickets for a give and mine name were on the tickets, then I saw it said that the name must match with the name on the ID... after three days of calling the seller and Groupon I still have not received help from nobody. The seller referred me to Groupon and Groupon to the seller... it is to much. I am very disappointed "

Mistakenly hit buy button, refusing a refund

"I very simply accidentally hit the buy button, and now Groupon refuses to issue a refund. I requested the refund immediately after mistakenly hitting the buy button. I've purchased literally thousands of Groupons over the years, and this is not how you ahould treat customers. Very disappointed, and don't think i will be buying any more groupons any time soon. Groupon needs tp make it right, and issue a refund. "
