Excellent Customer Service

"I purchased a Groupon for ski tickets and the mountain (Granite Gorge in NH) had maintenance issues with their ski lifts and they were not operational. Groupon quickly refunded my money and they were extremely helpful throughout the process. A+ customer service! Thanks Groupon! "

Don't actually care about customer service

"I purchased 6 movie tickets from Groupon for Cinema Movie Grill as I have in the past, I spent at least 30 minutes following their instructions exactly and entered each verification code for each individual tickets with CMG and submitted my order, my family showed up to the theater and our seats were not held, our tickets were not processed and therefore not valid or usable and the theater was sold out. After having this very disappointing experience we came home and called Groupon to refund our $30 in total and "John C" said that it was a final sale as we had "viewed" the tickets, which we had to do in our attempt to redeem or use them, but there was not possibility for us to get our money back despite me pressing in and talking to a "supervisor". He told me that I was just "going to have to accept it whether I liked it or not", now this is stellar customer service.....their instructions and product did not work, we had an awful and disappointing experience going out to a family outing and getting shut down and they were completely unwilling to refund our $30. He said I could give it to someone as a gift.....but why would I want someone else to have a bad experience?? I will never use Groupon again for anything, I try to stick with companies that actually value and honor their customers such as Trader Joe's, Costco and Chic-fil-a....take note Groupon. Their "unwillingness" and "inability" to do this very simple refund is not acceptable and no one should support a company like this."

Worst company to work with

"This company rips you off and doesn’t want to refund the money. The merchant did not do any service and refused because I was a repeat customer. Apparently, there were no way Groupon or the merchant could help me. I still had questions last time and they send me email saying they resolved my issues. What a **** joke!!!!"

Don't care what companies they work with

"Wrote to them (Groupon) to help me with a company problem I had with one of the companies they work with and they said in other words that they couldn't. The company was Bestcanvas who intentionally sent the wrong size canvas (That way they make a bigger profit) and even though I told them not to make it because the size in the invoice they sent me was way off, they ignored that and made it anyway and now they want to to break it and send them proof that I did in order for them to do it the way I paid them through Groupon to do it in the first place. Now that was a gift I can not tell my son and his family to break the canvas (Of their children) these inept people made. Especially when he is stationed in Hawaii and I'm in New York. Besides I don't trust them anymore. If it was to be thorn up, they may not replace it.
Back to Groupon. I wrote them and told them what happened and added I bought 3 things from your friends already. 1 -the Bestcanvas you read above, 2- A sterling Silver ring that is turning green after 2 months that was not suppose to turn green, and 3 - a blanket (with pics we chose) that's not here yet, while everything (a lot) that I bought before their i made their order (through E-bay and Amazon) got here already . Yet they sent me this

Fabulous customer service

"Had an item marked “free returns” that th system wasn’t allowing me to return, wrote customer service and got a response within 24 hours that my money had been refunded in full and I could keep the product. Amazing customer service and I love everything on Groupon!! Two thumbs up. "

Boots for Christmas

"I ordered a pair of boots from Groupon that my granddaughter requested for Christmas. When she opened the box and attempted to put them on, both boots were for the left foot and they were two different sizes. Needless to say, she was disappointed and I was frustrated that the order had not been checked for accuracy before being shipped. Even when I buy shoes in a store in person, the cashier opens the box and checks to make sure that everything is correct. Groupon did agree to refund my money, but we still haven't been able to find these particular boots anywhere else since they were a popular item for Christmas. I doubt that I will take a chance on Groupon again."

Customer Service saved me 10.00 Dollars!!!!

"I could mess up anything on a computer and when I was trying to buy a Groupon for a restaurant I accidently picked the wrong one. I even went further than that and was totally frustrated. I emailed Groupon and when a Customer Service Rep called me back he asked me to explain my problem. I told him and I figured he would tell me he couldn't do anything about it but that is not what happen. He told me to hang on for a few seconds and then he stayed on the phone with me until I had completed the transaction. I was so frustrated when I started the transaction and when it ended I was so HAPPY! Thank-You"

Recent Purchase

"I recently made a purchase for a service only to realize after the fact that this was not what I really wanted. I reached out to Groupon for help and was informed of the trade option, which I was not aware of.

Thanks to the help and patience of John K I was able to trade the purchased groupon for the one that I wanted. and because there was a difference in the cost I also received a credit that can be used for my next purchase.

Very grateful that all turned out well. Kudos to John K :-)

Groupon customer service is great

"I lost track of a Groupon, could not find the Groupon in my account list of groupons, so wrote to Groupon's customer service for help. First reply received was from a customer service agent who also could not find the groupon under my email address and had no further advice to offer. I wrote again with more detail. Second reply received, from Arya P, was much more helpful. She determined that the groupon was stored under an alternative email account, so I was able to retrieve it. I appreciate fact that Arya P was able to resolve the problem by checking more thoroughly for a solution. Thank you Groupon.

Groupon is Great Unless You Need Help

"I have bought several certificates without issue in the past. This time I needed some assistance because the vendor told me that I need to contact Groupon in order to redeem. I contacted Groupon and they said to contact the vendor. Do you see the Catch-22 circle developing? I then contacted Manuel, Groupon Customer Service, who finally said that the certificate will need to be researched and that he would call me within 2 hours with an answer. The next morning he emailed me, no call, and reiterated the vague redemption instructions listed on the certificate. I responded with an email requesting clarifications and I received a reply that just said "We’re so glad we could resolve your issue today! We’d love to hear your feedback on Groupon services and products. You can write us a review by visiting ResellerRatings or Viewpoints."

To my knowledge nothing has been resolved yet. My advise is to make sure you understand the voucher and its redemption procedure before purchasing because Groupon is NOT there to help you.
