Didn't quite resolve the issue...

"I was sent the wrong order twice, I was refunded for one of them but then still was never sent the correct product. I'm glad I was refunded but I really wanted the correct item sent as it was supposed to be a gift from my son to his dad... "

"Requested refund of groupon soon to expire and seller unable to accommodate its use. Refund requested but offered credit instead. If groupon cannot be redeemed due to limitations by seller, a refund should be offered. I was purchased in Google faith that it could be used for the desired item"

Great Service and problem resolved!!

"I was so happy to see a confirmation email from Groupon that they had refunded me the amount of my purchase order!! I could not use my groupon for a haircut because I had tried contacting the hairstylist for 4 months and he never returned my calls, emails and txt messages to this day!!! So I was so happy to find great people on chat who helped me get my refund within less than a week!! I had paid a lot of money. I am happy that Groupon saved my funds and returned them to me!! They were totally understanding and compassionate to my situation.
I thank you all very much Groupon and I am thankful and grateful for all your help!! Great service and I will purchase from better vendors next time hoping to continue to use your service because it is truly great!! Thank you very very much!! Rosa

Scammers And Liars

"Groupon is now taking customers orders and money and not allowing people to contact them via phone or chat. I've tried reaching them for 2 days now and finally track LJ&J Distribution thanks to UPS to see ask where is my order. They are located Montebello CA. Here's the number I called and spoke to someone that claims their behind on shipping out orders for groupon- ***-***-****. Look up your tracking number and call them. At least ypu can speak to a live person. After and the bad review I wrote on another site I got a reply back almost instantly from Groupon lying saying someone would be contacting me shortly. That was 3 hours ago. So I'm writing another bad review on them on this website in hopes it'll save someone from going through what I've gone through. TM"

Blame the customer for FedEx fail, and issue credit in Groupon Bucks??!

"I entered all the information required to place an order, including a Maine "ship to" address; and yet somehow my order was shipped to a complete stranger California. Used online Chat and later called customer service; both unconvincingly told me how they apologized for any inconvenience and understand how frustrating it must be for me. I was told I would receive a refund in Groupon Bucks (I paid using my AmEx), that a credit to my card was not possible and that in the future I may not be eligible for a refund at all if the issue is an incorrect address.

So, Groupon's solution to their failure to deliver via the shipper Groupon selected to use, was to blame me for the incorrect address (although I entered the correct address which was verified on the order), and to FORCE me to spend the refund at Groupon rather than post a credit to the payment method used for the order.

I opened a compliant with AmEx who acted immediately and credited me. That God for AmEx.

I HATE GROUPON! Shop at your own risk.

MonogramOnline.com gouging for shipping when using Groupon

"When using a Groupon with MonogramOnline.com I went through to checkout where I was to enter my Groupon code. As soon as I entered it the shipping cost jumped from $7.95 to 16.95, more than double. Thought it was a glitch, so I backed out and tried again same result.

Notified Groupon. Their reply, "we included a Fine Print section on the deal page which included the statement "Shipping not included"."

They either don't read these requests and just send form letter responses or perhaps Groupon support, like most large companies nowadays, employs folks from countries that do not speak English natively and those providing service simply do not understand. For those employees, I certainly sympathize. In either case it does not create helpful results.

Resolved

"It turned out I couldn’t use the Groupon I purchased with the seller. I wrote to Groupon and they refunded the money within a couple days. I’ve only used Groupon a couple other times and am happy with the products received. No problem here."

"The site posted a sale price and because it was according to them wrong they won’t honor it.. I’ve been a long time customer and will no longer do business with such a company. "

Very poor customer service

"I will not be using Groupon for important items. One item showed up with half of the parts missing. The other item never arrived. When I contacted Groupon their only response was to issue Groupon credit. So now I’m out actual money and only have credits for an unreliable service. "

"I bought tickets. One ticket will not be used. They refused to refund me the one ticket. They then sent up a follow up email.saying how happy they were to have resolved my issue. Huh?"

"Groupon rightfully informed me detail shop was no longer apart of Groupon but wanted to give me a credit instead of cash refund. I asked them to reconsider. When I pull up my Groupons, it shows refunded, but I never got it. "

"I accidentally purchased 2 of the same Groupon. I clicked on the extra purchase...emailed Groupon..... I had a response back via email in less than 24 hours listing the options for my mistake.... and in the next hour had an email stating my choice for resolution had been completed! Simple and efficient and super easy! Thanks Groupon. "

Quick and painless

"In one chat session I was able to explain the issues I was having for two vouchers and get those resolved almost immediately. They were very responsive and understanding that everything transpired fairly quickly considering most refund/disputes can drag but I received a confirmation email of my refund for both were processed and on their way within hours."

Horrible customer service

"Issues with trading in a Groupon which I've done a few times in the past with no problems. Asked to speak to someone above customer service, given the run around and then received an email saying thank you, we were glad we could resolve your issue..
Umm.. Issue NOT resolved!! Now out $ and have a Groupon that I won't be using
