The company is closed and Groupon told me they wouldn't help me. I'm left wondering why I was asked for more information about the company in question when they were just going to deny my request anyway."

Sent an email to Customer Support explaining the situation, and received instructions on how to "Trade In" these Groupons. I purchased a new Groupon for a different merchant, and the "Trade In" value was used in this transaction. The only thing to be wary of is that Groupon only gave me 24 hours to use the "Trade In" value, once I clicked on the "Trade In" option. Don't hit "Trade In" until you have another Groupon in mind that you would like to purchase."
