"I've never, ever had to go through so many backwards procedures to get a gift sent through hhgregg (oh, so cool, all lower case, huh?). They tell you all their procedures are for your (the customer's) security, but because they are such outlyers amongst all the web-based businesses, they just end up looking like their web-market system was built pre-Y2K -- remember Y2K, as in the year 2000?? I live out west, where there isn't an hhgregg within a thousand miles, and i feel like "i ain't missin' nuthin',"! Got a decent price, but wouldn't do it again. Hopefully all y'all with an hhgregg in your neighborhood can get some good deals IN-STORE!"
"I purchased an Electrolux washer, dryer, and two pedestal package. It was delivered a few days later, within a three hour window, with plenty of communication and friendly, professional, skilled deliverymen/installers. The price, with delivery, on the package was so low that I couldn't get the "big orange home improvement store" to honor their price match + 10% guarantee. h.h. gregg had the best pricing, and still honored the 10% off coupon for subscribing to their newsletter. Their selection, at least online, may not match some national chains, but they had exactly the machines I wanted (Electrolux front load 4.3 washer and dryer with steam, in titanium with pedestals), in an affordable package that wound up being almost $900 cheaper than what the big orange home improvement store was willing to sell them for (the manager said, "we just can't meet their price on the machines you want"). I'm definitely putting hhgregg.com at the top of my list for appliances and electronics."

"I was very satisfied with the delivery notifications the day ahead. The delivery team was professional and cautious with the refrigerator. The refrigerator is exactly what we hoped for however on a negative note the ice maker "kit" was a hose I paid $25 for and was unable to use, I had to purchase the needed materials and install my self."
"Poor customer service can make any trip to the store unpleasant. When we walked in, there were at least 6 employees behind the counter and it took 5 minutes for one of them to acknowledge us. After being greeted and finding out what we needed, we were directed to two young ladies standing next to the gentlemen who didn't bother to acknowledge us. When they were ready, we were acknowledged and given less than satisfactory customer service. We won't be coming back to this location again. "

"I went into the store on the evening of 2/19/16 to purchase a laptop that I had seen in a ad. As I was browsing over the laptops, a salesperson (young man) came up and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for and he began looking over the laptops. He told me that they didn't have the one I was looking for in stock. I came home that evening and ordered it online to have it delivered to the store. Imagine my surprise when the next morning I got an email to come pick it up. When I did pick it up, I went to the counter and was talking to another Customer Service Rep. I told him what had happened the night before. He told me that apparently the other guy didn't check the inventory or he would have seen it in stock. So, as it turned out, I ended up having to make an extra trip to the store. Need to train your salespeople better."
"After spending over $1100.00 on a washer & dryer, I called the store to request that my dryer door be switched to open from the other side. I was told that wouldn't be a problem, but they would have to charge me for a service call of another almost $80.00 to do that. When I questioned why I would be charged a service call, I was told that if I wanted the door to open from the other side, I should have ordered it that way. I bought these appliances on line and did not see a spot to request that. The online service manager told me there was no spot for that but I should have called the store to make that request (which the order form did not indicate either).
All in all, I was very unhappy with their attitude and did not pay them any more money to come out and change the door. (By the way I had one person tell me to look in the manual on pg 7 and I would find instructions on how to do it myself). I spent over 45 minutes on the phone and felt very frustrated that I was treated so poorly. This is NOT good customer service in my opinion.
I will not recommend H.H. Gregg to anyone in the future."

"Did not receive delivery on the day I was told. Called and was very dissatisfied with the response from the delivery service. Finally got to the web CS and was told they were sorry and they would give me a $25 gift card in the mail. This was still not making up for my lost sleep and time for the delivery. PLUS the fact that I work third shift and had to stay up all day to find this out! So I then had to stay up the next day to wait for the delivery. I received a call saying we are 35 minutes away. Two hours later I had a delivery! Not a happy customer with the web delivery BUT the people who delivered were very nice and CS from them was great! That is why you have 4 stars. Otherwise it would have been 2...not good! "
