"No problem :) I ordered 4 256 PC1066 RDRAM from Hardcore Cooling. Ordering was easy and shipment came in good time. After fighting to get this memory installed correctly, which after 7 years you'd think I would be able to do this easily, I ended up calling and talking to one of the guys at Hardcore Cooling. Matt, was a HUGE help, come to find out, after fighting with Dell over the phone after they gave me incorrect information, Dell forgot to tell me a crucial piece....Dell's only allow for 32ns memory, my new memory was 35ns, which would explain why I was having so many problems. I was able to RMA all the memory at no cost to me. I expect to be ordering more from Hardcore Cooling in the future based on the great experience I had with them for the first time. All I had to do is call and they worked it all out with me. :)

"This is an addenum to my last post, again with some good, some bad. Again, I'll start with the bad. Soon after I had posted my comment with resellerratings.com, I checked with my bank and found that they had charged my account despite the item being out of stock. This upset me, and I thus sent off a curt and angry letter to Hardcore Cooling. Now the good. To their good, they did reply quickly, explained the same situation they did here (which I do believe) and have now reversed the charges on my credit card. I'm still not impressed with the item not being in stock after the fact (I do wonder if things could have been checked more carefully on their end with Thermaltake for instance) but I do think they didn't try to defraud me, and do regret the situation."
"RAM didn't work in my brand new system. I bought some Kingston RAM elsewhere and it worked flawlessly. I have a Dell 400SC, and their RAM was listed as having issues with this on many message boards, but I only found this out after receiving. Called them and was told there would be a 14% restocking fee even though the product was simply too low quality to work in a high end application. No flexibility, offered to send me new RAM which would also not work. If they don't find a problem on THEIR MOBO when testing, you lose 14%. They test crappy RAM on a crappy system and it works, suprise suprise. Not fair or trustworthy, I am worried about getting any money back from these shady e-wannabes."

"I ordered 2 sticks of "house brand" PC1066 16-bit RDRAM, which arrived defective...one of them even came out of the static-proof bag marked "BAD" in red pen! When I called about replacements, they said that they didn't have any more in stock, and "wouldn't be carrying any more anytime soon", and as a result they couldn't offer me a replacement. They were courteous and offered a full refund, however. I think my initial experience was an anomaly (see update below), despite the slip-up of sending me a chip apparently known (by someone, at least) to be faulty.

UPDATE: The Hardcore Cooling response is correct. They did contact me immediately to rectify the situation and offer their apologies, and their customer service was even more helpful than before, even offering to credit the cost of my return shipping. As I understand it they had a bad batch of memory from their distributor. Having been treated so well, I've definitely changed my mind--I do recommend them and will likely buy from them in the future. "
"Paid $200 for matched set of PC3200 DDR CAS 2 ram. What I got was something the SPD saw as CAS 2.5, the computer made very odd electric arcing noise and was slower than the Samsung CAS 3 ram it was to replace. This was my first and LAST business dealings with this company, who by the way had Fed Ex send me an email stating that the package was delivered. Now in over 5 years of doing business with online etailers I have NEVER had anyone do this. Makes me wonder why...it was done after I contacted them by phone about the problem when the only person who knew anything about ram had left early for the day...odd."
"Ordered Winbond PC3200 (2x256) Dual Channel Cas 2. The ram does not run 100% stable at rated 2-3-3-7 @ 400mhz. It fails Prime95's Torture test that tests some of everything and lots of the ram. I e-mailed them but I never got a response. I just called them and they told me they don't carry that ram anymore and it could take a month to get new sticks. I was looking forward to buying new fans and a heatsink from them, but not anymore."

They got it shipped out right away, they have a SUPER great selection of products, and the prices are very nice too. Also, many different shipping options available. I don't like when you're not given the option to choose different shipping methods, this way I can choose if I want to save money, or get it here fast.
Anyways, I ordered quite a variety of different components, and received everything in perfect working order.
