"I ordered two RD3XP cables from them on July 1st, 12 days later nothing.. I get no response from support. I reported them to the IFCC and the BBB. They can deal with these frauds.

They still not have given me my product or a refund as of July 16th. It has been two weeks and nothing. I have sent a letter to the Lansdale Police Department about this company's activities. I have also filed a fraud report with Paypal. We will see what happens from there.

" On april 11th I ordered a motherboard, PSU and some other components from these guys. On the 29th of April i get an email saying they got my money order and they would send my order. on the 11th of may i get an email from UPS saying that they have the shipping info but not the actual item. After that i never heard anything from UPS. after about a month of waiting i contacted hardware cooling again and he said it probaly got held up at the border as i live in Canada. fair enough, so now it is July 11th and I still do not have my order. And i have not had a single reply to any of my emails (ive sent about 5 or 6) or my phone calls. everytime i get voicemail. now it just seems like these guys are avoiding me. Take my advise and never do business with these people. The first couple times times i did and things went great but this time they screwed me over. Also if you know a way i can get my money back or get my order please email me at ****@**** your help is much appreciated."

"Ordered a blower and northbridge heatsink almost a month ago. Haven't received anything, but my credit card has been charged.

Have only managed to get through by telephone once. Voice mail messages and emails go unanswered.

Strongly suggest that you don't do business with these people.

UPDATE:
REC'D THE MERCHANDISE OVER A MONTH AFTER ORDERING IT (AND AFTER DISPUTING THE CHARGE WITH MY CREDIT CARD!).

THEY INCLUDED 3 FREE 80 MM FANS AS AN APOLOGY.

STILL UNIMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICE, SINCE THE ITEM THEY WERE WAITING TO SHIP REMAINED ON THEIR WEB SITE FOR THE MONTH IT TOOK THEM TO GET THEIR SHIPMENT (NO OUT OF STOCK TAG). ALSO, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY SPOTTY. THEIR PHONE IS ANSWERED VERY RARELY.

"I ordered a 2100+ Palomino chip from these guys. Excellent service. We exchanged several emails regarding whether or not infact it was an AMD Palomino core chip. They assured it was, and offered quicker shipment. It was in fact the right chip and was received in excellent condition and has been installed and running nearly constantly for about a month now. "Flexible and helpful. We did the entire transaction over email until the final purchase. They have no option in their drop down that I've seen that allows APO shipment, but they were flexible enough to accommodate. They do not normally ship via USPS but they made an exception and for that I'm grateful. "

"One of the few places on the Net that you can still get a Palomino. Price was not cheap, but very reasonable considering this was the only place I could find the fastest 2100+ Palomino.
HSF price was competitive.
They did switch an item on me, they sent me ArticSilver 5 instead of Alumina - which I didnt mind since the 5 is more expensive than alumina and they didnt charge me more.

"I purchased cooling fans on Dec 23, 2003 which I only received after contacting them again on Jan 13th. Their Paypal order process was (at that time) seriously flawed in requiring a manual click back to their website after the purchase. I missed that click and even though the order was started on their website, they had no record at all of my order after payment was made.

In spite of this purchase issue, as soon as I emailed them everything was taken care of promptly and courteously. Product, shipping and email contact were all very good.

"Ordered an amd 2400+ processor. It started having problems a few days after I installed it and emailed hardwarecooling for help or a replacement. Got no response, so tried other email addresses for the company and used their web-based message form. I've been trying to contact them for more than a week via email and the 30 day warranty for the processor will be up in a week. They have no 1-800 number and I have no easy access to long-distance, so I'll have to buy a phone card to call them.

I definely do not recommend these guys. After a week with no response, the only explanation I can think of is that they're intentionally ignoring my emails - and I'm stuck with a bad processor that needed to be working 2 weeks ago.

"First off, the item was listed on the webpage and I purchased it, but it was apparently out of stock. Within less than a week, the merchant agreed to refund my money as the item was not in stock and then he stopped all communication with me (without issuing the refund). He doesn't ever seem to answer his phone. He will not respond to messages sent to him.

UPDATE, FEB 23rd.
Tom finally answered my call. He agreed to ship me another card of a similar brand. THE NEXT DAY i get a 2nd 3rd and 4th email notice claiming that he has attempted to contact me to resolve the issue. I have emailed him over 20 times and this is the first response I get, after him claiming the issue is resolved over the phone.

UPDATE, March 1st.
Wed Feb 25th, I talk to hardware cooling, and they AGAIN agree to refund my money to my Paypal account the same day. A week later still no refund. On Feb 27th, their voicemail account was full and I could not even leave a message. I have sent numerous emails and left voicemails (when able) since our last conversation, and still no refund, no reply.

Update.
For the record, I feel I should note that the refund was finally issued.

I went to Hardware Cooling from a listing on Price Watch. They were the only ones on the net that I could actually find the Palomino Athlon XP. Pricing was great, suggested accessories were very appropriate and nicely priced as well. Order process was easy and promt fulfillment and acknowledgement. The only drawback is I ordered 2nd Day Air with UPS for 11.03, they used US Postal Priority Mail at a 6.05 price and did not change the price I was charged. I email them right away and asked about the change to which they said it would be faster. I did not recieve the package untill 3 days later ( a day later than I paid for ). I emailed them about the arivial and asked for a refund of the difference. A week and a half later they had never returned the email or money. I paid the toll call and called them, at first they wanted to give me store credit, I said no then they agreed to give me the difference credited to my Card. It is not the money that was the issue, it was I ordered, and payed for one thing, they gave me something else because it was cheeper for them without telling me or changing the price.
