"Easily the worst packaging I have ever recieved in my life. I ordered two 16 1/2 by 16 1/2 sub boxes, the shipping box they were in is the exact size except for an inch of space on one side so there was zero cushioning except for a waded up piece of paper stuck into that side. "The order : Amp and 2 10" L5's in ported box. Well i bought the items off of Ebay. The prices were really good when i looked and bought it after i checked out. Yes i know that the subwoofers were refurbished. Well i received the items on the exact day, which i was happy. The first box for the amp was in good condition packaged very good. Then looking at the subwoofer box look like it barreled rolled a few times. I open the subwoofer box and all I see is about 4 sheets of crumpled paper and barely any on top of the subwoofer. Well same day I went to audio shop and tested everything and hooked up and I was excited to have some beat. Well after listening to the subwoofers you can hear a clingy and a crackle from the speaker. Well i e-mail same day and was told to ship back. Well i thought i would be waiting for a Return slip, but you know what i get. " oh sorry we don't reimburse for shipping nor does kicker and we will pay the return shipping ". Well what they don't realize the f****** is $60.00. I then went to UPS because i have no choice to send it back. I will issue a refund if I get the new subwoofers and something faulty. Total for Subwoofers + Me paying for shipping = $300+ and i can't be forking out money to keep returning a product to a company every single time. I will file dispute if other set isn't working properly. If i were company i would be packaging the items properly. I talked to a guy at UPS and he said company fault because they poorly packed the item and that they should foam all around. Well i spent $400+ dollars and you would expect they send a return slip that expires just in case the person buying wants to return not for money just exchange, but nope. Well pretty mad i spent over $450.00 here when i could of got new stuff. Live Learn and headaches. "

"Awesome amp for an awesome price. I currently have a Kicker stereo setup sans head unit in my 2006 Mini Cooper S. My old amp (KX200.2) has been slowly dying, cutting out the stereo altogether whenever I would turn the volume up high (which would require cycling engine power to reset it). The subwoofer is a 300W 10", so I know the new ZX250.2 amp will not overpower it. The amp is a bit larger in size, and the wires do not have covers over them (like the old amp did). The same crossover selector switch is present, as well as the adjustment knobs (dB, voltage, bass boost).

Hi Fi Sound Connection offers the best deal I could find. I did not realize at first I had purchase a factory refurbished unit. However, there were only two really small knicks in the amp surface, and it still had that nice new product smell. Hi Fi Sound Connection is definitely a company to consider buying your stereo equipment from. I am already considering buying the $20 bass adjustment knob to mount under the dash."

"I ordered two 12 inch Alpine Type R Subwoofers And A Hatchback Subwoofer Box

There selection of products was very good - I easily found what i wanted - the descriptions of products could be a little better
The Delivery was pretty quick and took 4 days

The alpine type R subwoofers are very powerful and can handle up to 1500 watts each! Everything that shouldve come included with them was there!
The box everything came in was neatly organized with soft paper so that nothing would get damaged and nothing did!

The hatchback box is big enough to fit two 12 inch subwoofers but small enough to fit into a tight space - it was very well constructed, two good speaker terminals and nice new carpet on it so it wont scratch up your trunk or interior!
The quality of the box is way more than the price i paid for it so its a quality deal! This box is more suitable for componet subwoofers but with a little adjustment with plywood they work fine with my big magnet subs!

I put the Alpine 12 inch type R subwoofers into the hatchback box - and had a minor problem mounting the subs at the top since the box has an angle on the front side but i just put a thin piece of plywood at the top and they are mounted fine and then put them into my vehicle with a 2-Channel audiobahn 2300HCX Amplifier that pushes 300 watts to each sub and they can handle up to 1500 watts so there not getting much power and they still bang out some serious bass - these subs are so powerful that with some more watts to each sub i would worry about shattering my car's windows!

The Alpine type R subwoofers are some of the best subs on the market and i would recommend them to anyone who like bass with there music!

"WOW. Love the Box. the amp wiring kit was perfect for the truck. It would been nice if you had a kit for an 1800 watt amp wiring kit. but this works. and the subs in the box in my 95 chevy ext cab sounds remarkable. as a matter of fact i had to turn it down lol. But the biggest suggestion i could think is that with that middle gap between the 2 subs you should make a hole in the box were an amp would sit inside. i think it would be cleaner look

"I ordered a radio/cd for my 2000 Solara convertible. They sent me a unit which did was not compatible. I sent it back after explaining the Solara had an amplified system. Several weeks later they sent me another unit. Again I had a mechanic take the dash apart only to find that again they sent a unit not compatible. So far I am out the original purchase price and $23 in UPS fees for returning the units to the company. At this point all I want is for them to issue me a credit for my purchase and let this frustration end. The worst part of the experience is their attempts to make it seem like I caused the problem by not knowing I needed an amplified system. Their lack of communication with me is another example of the experience. I give this organization 1 star and caution anyone who has a need for anything but the most basic of radio needs to look elsewhere.
