"I ordered a trash can from homeclick on May 1 2007, and my account was immediately debited through PayPal. A week later, no order confirmation, so I emailed them. No response. A week later I sent another email. No response. A third email. No response. Filed a dispute with PayPal. Still no response. Upgraded my dispute to a claim, requesting reimbursement. No response. Still waiting for settlement. Gave up and ordered the same trash can from Amazon for a little more--and got it within two days. I will never shop with homeclick or absolutehome or any of their affiliates again."

"Very bad experience, will never do business with homeclick or their brother www.absolutehome.com. I order a sink and some bathroom fixture 16 days before my weekend project started, in their web site it said will ship 2-3 business days, and charge me the full price. After a week I got 1 fixture, and I was waiting for the my sink, then I send them an email to ask for the sink status, 2 days later they reply they will ship from 4-6 weeks. I can't wait that long because I have less than 1 week to get everything, so I paid 1/2 more to get it from local store. I try to cancel the rest of the order with homeclick, I tried online chat, send many emails, no email reply and online chat got the answer is they will process the request, after 4 days no reply. I call them by phone and hold almost 1/2 hr and request a cancellation, same story, they will process a cancellation request. Since they already charge me full price, I have to make sure I will get the refund and it is not fair that they charge me 4-6 weeks ahead the product shipped. I had never got a positive answer for the refund yet, I think I will soon need to do a chargeback with my credit card company."

"This is one the worst companies to deal with. Had I looked up their rating, I would never have purchased anything from them. They now have my money since 4/24, with NO REPLIES to 3 emails, lame replies to 3 phone calls. BE WARNED. I still have no coffee grinder & can't get an answer as to when I will. I'm afraid to cancel as this will probably create a logistical nightmare & I'll be out my 107$ & the coffee grinder."

"TERRIBLY BAD ORDER EXPERIENCE. IT'S A NIGHTMARE DEALING WITH THIS OUTFIT. I RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF MY ORDER ON DEC. 20, 2006 AND SEVERAL SUBSEQUENT RESPONSES OF INVESTIGATIONS OF MY ORDER. However, as of late, the follow up emails that I have sent now remain unanswered. I have not received my order and IT IS NOW THE END OF MARCH 2007. I SHOULD HAVE SEARCHED FOR REVIEWS ON-LINE BEFORE ORDERING. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HOMECLICK AGAIN. EVER!"

"HomeClick is by far the worst vendor I have ever done business with. Their prices are great and product catalog is broad, but their customer service is by far the worst I have ever encountered.

I used HomeClick's registry option for my wedding in May of 2005, as they were a convenient source for the china pattern we had selected. At this point it became clear that HomeClick did not stock these items but simply acted as a middleman for the manufacturer, and that they did not have a good relationship with the manufacturer. After calling to check every few weeks, most of the items that had been purchased for us had arrived after 6 months.

But... one item, a cake platter, had not. The gift giver had been charged for it at the order time of May 5, 2005.

It is now February 20, 2007. The item has still not arrived. Every time I call to inquire, I am given a run-around about orders accidentally being canceled, manufacturing difficulties, etc. Despite multiple requests, no one with any responsibility in the company has ever called with status, apologies, anything. I have been told multiple times by customer service agents (who are responsive, if utterly helpless) that managers do not speak with customers.

Do not do business with this company if you ever expect to receive your order. If you do, you'll be happy with the deal. If you don't, you'll be waiting several years!

"Poor Customer Service – DO NOT BUY!

First of all, HOMECLICK.COM is not an “Authorized Dealer” as they had stated on MSN shopping page. This is per the manufacture of the product. (I Note that this has since been removed from MSN page, I assume my dealing with the manufacture led to that)

I tried to purchase a MVVK Millivolt Valve Kit from HOMECLICK.COM for the purchase price of $267.65. The item was listed as being in stock and having a 2-3 day delivery.
I order the kit on the 12th of January 2007.
Delivery was supposed to be on the 15th of January 2007 per Homeclick’s own e-mail. After I made an inquiry on the 18th of January as to why it did not ship on schedule I was told it would take 2 or 3 days to find out what happened. I was given two choices”
HomeClick.com offers you the choice of (1) canceling your order with a prompt, full refund of any payments you have made, or (2) accepting delivery at a specific later date.”
On the 19th of January I was told that the parts I was suppose to already have wont even ship till 7 February 2007!
On the 22nd of January I was told that it would not ship now until mid February.
On the 23rd of January I placed a cancellation of my order.
On the 23rd of January I received an e-mail confirming that I wanted to cancel my order.
On the 26th of January I sent an e-mail inquiring about my “PROMT” refund
On the 26th of January I received an e-mail saying ”We are currently awaiting confirmation from our vendor indicating your order has been effectively cancelled”
On 29 January 2007 I sent an e-mail demanding a full credit to my credit card, or I would start legal action.

As a side not I was able to purchase a new valve of the same manufacture and type from e-bay for about $60.00 less and had it in 3 days. It is installed and I still have not gotten a credit from Home click.

"I had a wonderful experience at homeclick.com. My wife and I were trying to replace an entire kitchen destroyed in a fire for the amaout of our claim settlement. We were able to do this in one place and actually come away with money left over. We received everything that we ordered with in days of their promised delivery dates."

"This is a terrible company to do business with. I did not receive the item I ordered in twice the time they said it would take to deliver with no word from them on why. They did not respond to my emails, I finaly called in to cancel after six weeks of waiting only to be told the order could be shipped in another two weeks. I definitely do not recommend this company."

"The service is not good at all. We ordered a Dornbracht faucet/spray set and after 2 months of waiting, it finally came. However, the spray was missing. They would contact Dornbracht and get the spray. I would be notified by e-mail. That never happened. After many many phone calls they finally told me they had received the spray and it was in process of bein shipped. That was over two weeks ago and today they are informing me they are still investigating what happened to the first shipment. So much for promises. Never order here again!"

"This is the worst company I have tried to deal with. Two seperate times I have tried to place an order for and item that was In-Stock item and when I got the confirmation the shipment date was 5 weeks later.

I cancelled the order they shipped the items 2 days later and now they are telling me I have to pay to return them.

"WOW!!! I ordered a 3 20 piece Dansk Rondure flatware set and the matching hostess set. The price was unbelievable total of $278. A 5 piece setting in my local Macy's was on sale for $50 (regular price $75). The item was delivered to my home in 5 days and shipping was free. I defintely rate this purchase as a very favorable experience and would purchase from Homeclick again."

"I, like many, found a Toto toilet at a good price and ordered it after reading Toto reviews, from Homeclick.com Within 2 says, I get an email with the Fedex tracking number. I check it out and find that the weight of the package is 48#.....it should be about 85#. So I call Homeclick and get someone who says that it is shipping in 2 packages. This was NOT STATED anywhere when I ordered!! The item was listed as "in stock" or I definitely wouldn't have ordered from them!!!The second package should ship within a day, she says... Three days go by and I call. Another CS rep says it will take 2 business days to find out what the deal is. In the meantime, I receive the tank and toilet seat without the toilet bowl! Wonderful. So useful...

I called again today, 9/26/06, and this time it took 3 calls to get somewhere. First call puts me on hold and drops me. Second call, no one answers; third call I get a lady who says she will have to check it out. At this point, I ask to speak to a supervisor and guess what? I get a voicemail for some guy who says leave my name, order number and email address and he'll get back to me! Absolutely unreal!!

My first clue to this disreputable company should have been the fact that my credit card was charged immediately. ( I didn't realize this at the time.)This is dishonest. Normally, one's card is charged when the merchandise is shipped!!!

Secondly, they do not respond to emails ( I tried that) and there is no help trying to get anything resolved. I am at a loss as to what to do now.

I did call my credit card company and the amount I was charged is in dipute, so I will not have to pay it....until this is resolved. They will go after the company.

Something needs to be done with outfits like this! Is there anyone out there who has an answer? I have shopped with dozens of internet companies and have had NO problems compared to this. Who knows if and when I will get the other piece to this stupid Toto toilet!!! I am fed up. Please listen and do not order from these jerks. You will be sorry. I already am and don't want someone else to have to go through this! Who has the time to battle these idiots when you work fulltime!! It is a fulltime job just to do that!!!

"This company's web site claimed the items on my order were in stock, and would be shipped within 1-2 business days. It's been 5 WEEKS, and the items still have not shipped. I was charged immediately (almost $3000), but no merchandise. I've emailed three times with no response, and called twice only to receive "we'll have to call you back" answers. Besides violating the FTC mail order regulations, the service is absolutely terrible."
