"We placed an order with this merchant for a range hood on April 22. At that time they seemed to have the best deal, so we thought that we have done a good purchase. Two days later they e-mailed us to let us know that the item we ordered was on back order. They finally shipped the item on May 5. At that point we had found a cheaper one at a different online retailer for $20 less. We called HomeEverything Customer Service right away to request a price match. This was the most horrible customer service I had ever experienced. First, we were placed on hold for an almost endless period of time. Then, when we finally get to talk to their CSR and ask him to do a price match, the jerk refused to do it because the item had already been shipped. Of course, since we considered that we were not making an unreasonable demand, we insisted. The jerk then proceeded to explained to us in a not very respectful tone of voice, the reason why the price match could not be done. Since this company claims they would do anything to gain our business, we requested firmly a price match one more time. At this point, the jerk very much called us stupids and told us that we did not understand what he was saying. Then the whole thing very much turned into a shouting match and since I could not contained my anger anymore, I finally decided not to continue dealing with this person and hung up. Later in the day, my wife called to resolved the matter. She very much had the same results. When the package finally arrived, I refused the package and had UPS return it to them. I do not think we will do business with this company ever again. Their concept of customer service is very twisted and based on a pile of not very customer oriented company policies. We expect to get a full refund, although we are sure this is probably going to take another shouting match to get anywhere. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! YOU MAY REGRET IT. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE.

"Ordered a grill and a grill cover two weeks ago. The company sent an email telling me my item was backordered only after I had placed the order. They said it would be ready in 3-5 days. 10 days later I still had heard nothing. Turns out the grill has been there all along, they're just waiting for the $20 cover (available everywhere). I asked them to ship the grill separately and they continue to sit on it. Customer service has been dismal. Won't shop here again.

Update: After another delay I canceled my order. The company called me back and offered me a generous discount if I would be willing to rescind my cancellation of the order. I accepted. The customer service representative was very apologetic. Based on other reviews, my case appears to have been an anomaly. I'm not pleased with the initial experience, but the company's efforts in responding to my dissatisfaction earned them some favor in my book. I would at least consider ordering from them again.

"Worst online shopping experience i had. I ordered a LG frig - LFX25975ST on 4/5 and still haven't got it. Everythime I call they always say it will be in next week. I recommanded few friends when I 1st saw this item on this place b/c the price was really nice and a couple of friends actually placed the ordered too. Now they all blame me for not getting they frigs. I would never order anything from this place again.

"I was reluctant to purchase after reading the negative comments placed, but I am glad I didn't listen. I had a wonderful experience. I purchased a refrigerator and a microwave and I received them in my home within a week. I did send an email to customer care, and they were very helpful and gave me all the information I requested withing 24 hours.

There was an issue with delivery, the deliverymen put a small dent in the refrigerator(not homeeverything.com's fault). Jamie at customer care was quick to offer a solution and make sure I was still happy with my purchase.

I would buy from them again without hesitation, and probably will be in the next few days.

"HomeEverything (HE) conducts questionable business practices that are clearly not customer focused.

On March 5 an order was placed for a microwave which turned out not to be in stock and, eight (8) weeks later on April 30 a useable (wobbly) Microwave was received. In the interim, the first microwave turned out to have factory defects and was returned for replacement. The second replacement had even worse factory defects and was also returned. At this point we were beginning to think we were being sold seconds. The call-tags HE issued to pick up both rejected microwaves had UPS coming to their NY warehouse for the pick up rather than our residence, further confusing and delaying the reorder and replacement process. Of course, our credit card was charged in early March for this product. Clearly, there is room for significant and much needed for improvement in HE's customer service and operational procedures.

* HomeEverything management has been unresponsive to this extraordinary and ongoing catastrophe. Our transactions to date with HE generally, with some exceptions, demonstrate an uncaring and mostly deficient handling of this relationship and series of transactions with negative impact on our family. Much of the communications has been, to put it kindly, inaccurate or confused and appears frankly to be deceptive in nature.

* As one example, during an April 22 conversation with HE personnel about the second defective-rejected unit, HR personnel said, "your replacement microwave will ship April 23." Original order dated March 5, 2010 (product was supposed to be in stock; It was not!). Called April 23 (12:50 PM CDT) and was assured by HE personnel after being put me on hold and called the shipping department verified that, "the microwave will definitely ship April 23 sure." That did not happen and frankly we were not surprised. HE personnel, on the morning of April 26 said that, "we do not physically have this product yet and that the HomeEverything folks that gave us this information didn't understand our process." This was said even though the HE online order status said by Thursday April 22 that, "your order is currently in our shipping terminal and tracking should be emailed within the next 2-3 days." I would like you all to know that even though I was clearly frustrated, I was professional, never used cuss words nor was I abusive during this or any call and, HE personnel hung up on me in the midst of this call.

In summary, HomeEverything is not a source that in good conscious we would recommend.

"All is well that ends well! HomeEverything.com's prices were among the lowest. I phoned them on Monday, April 26, to confirm that the stovetop I wanted was in stock.. Yes it was and would ship right away. When I phoned on Thursday , it was to ship on Monday, May 3. It is now Monday, and the advice is that the unit will ship "in 2 to 3 business days". Then Monday Evening, I got an email saying my stovetop was "shipped". But it really wasn't "shipped". But UPS had been given the shipping information. It is now Tuesday evening and UPS logged the shipment in about 8pm. UPS indicates delivery on May 6. This is one week later than initially promised.

I am disappointed that HomeEverything advertised one delivery schedule and actually shipped on a much less aggressive basis. However, the unit arrived well packed, save and in perfect condition. So I have no quarrel in the end. I did give us a call about the delay and the agent gave us a free 5 year cook top warranty for our trouble and promised to change the shipping dates to be realistic.

"Avoid this online merchant...run away before you buy anything from everything.com
Just read the one rated,they are the real customers.
Be carefull if you have any problems they'll try not to give you the money back even if you cancel
the order before been shipped.They claim they will not charge your card until the item is shipped.They'll just blame anyone else, like the manufacturer, the shippers, someone in the office, etc. Crooks, just lies so they can charge your credit card without delivering the goods. Beware!

"An absolutely wonderful company to do business with. We had purchased an over-the-range microwave from another website. It arrived damaged, so we decided to place the order again with HomeEverything. The microwave arrived double-boxed, and packed perfectly. It was delivered in a timely fashion by UPS, which is our preferred delivery company. No damage. Easy transaction. We placed our order by phone, and the salesman was very pleasant. We will definitely do business with this company again."

"Avoid this online merchant...run away. Ordered a Webber grill 4/1/ checked order status starting one week later. "order will ship 3-5 days" two days later "ordre will ship 7-10 days" this went on until April 16th. "Order in our warehouse will ship in 2 days" Then the same message for the next week. Talked with Customer service. "Order will ship on Friday be at your Home by Wed." No Grill, Checked on order online again "no status on order" Called Customer service...they did not have the Webber. I was mis lead, lied to verbally & via email and today is 4/21--I cancelled my order. DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU ARE TOLD."

"When I decided to buy a Weber S-420 gas grill, I was attracted to HomeEverything.com by their very low price, free shipping ALWAYS, and no sales tax EVER. I looked at the reviews at ResellerRatings and saw a few warnings, but a pretty good overall score. So I decided to give HomeEverything a try. My grill was ordered April 7, shipped April 13, and delivered April 20, in perfect condition. (A shout-out to UPS Freight for sending a small 24' truck so they could navigate my 350' driveway and place the 250 lb. grill right where I wanted it.) Even though I live in the same state in which HomeEverything is located, so sales tax is payable, HomeEverything paid the tax for me (that's their normal policy, not a special deal for me). I even got a $20 coupon for my order over $1000, and I was kept informed with email status updates. I would have paid $100s more at the big home fix-up stores. What's not to love?"

"Ordered cooktop on 4-13 and it was delivered on 4-16. The unit has a glass cooktop and the packaging was the best I have every seen! The UPS driver could have delivered it by throwing it out of the truck on his way past our home with no damage to the cooktop! Also, the fast delivery and great packaging are only part of the deal....HomeEverything had the best price on the internet! The fit of the Whirlpool cooktop isn't the best in the world, but for great service, you can't beat HomeEverything."

"It took two weeks to receive a washer after several phone conversations with delivery service. They actually kept saying "Maybe tomorrow." Washer arrived in New Jersey 10 days after I was told it was shipped from NYC. Took two more days for installation which was done incorrectly. Installers returned 5 days later to fix the problem. Customer service was extremely unprofessional, rude and unhelpful with the exception of the manager who called to apologize for the poor service after I wrote a poor review."

"Placed Order for a fridge
10 DAYS!!!! later received an email saying the item has been discontinued, I immediately replied to the email asking to cancel the order. 3 days later no refund or response, emailed again, finally a week later I called them, after waiting 10 minutes on hold finally got to a rep who told me they will process a refund.

They claim they will not charge your card until the item is shipped... Ya right.
As a result I am without a fridge for 2 more weeks, I missed a deal that was on another site for the same price, thinking homeeverything was more reputable.. Just horrible customer service, even the guy on the phone was a deadbeat who could care less about my situation.

"I googled for the LG LFX25975ST Refrigerator. It said in stock. After I placed the order, the next day I received email saying that: Your item is currently on backorder from the manufacturer and will need 3-5 days before your order will ship. Two days later, I called to check the status. The guy told me this item is not available any more and he tried to transfer me to the Sales for other refrigerator. BS...... The call waiting time was long too. I got in with the 3rd times. The 2nd call was automotive hanged up."
