HomeEverything has a terrific website and certainly offers the best prices on first quality merchandise. Their free shipping policy is also a major draw, especially with larger appliances like the air conditioner I purchased. I was somewhat wary because of some negative customer reviews, but my experience turned out quite well. Of course the sales staff is courteous and well informed (that’s what sales IS), but a company working at such a large sales volume really needs to be attentive to customer service issues. When I called to check out a shipping delay on my order, I was fortunate to get Rich Jalapi as my customer service agent. He informed me that my first AC unit had been “pulled” because of damage/defect and that the replacement unit was in stock and “in the pipeline.” He was able to “bump up” my shipping date to guarantee arrival before I went on vacation.
I recommend HomeEverything and would order from them again. I advise potential customers to ask detailed questions about the shipping procedures and schedules. Also, get to know your customer agent and be patient with the administrative workings of a large company. I advise HomeEverything to hire weekend sales and customer service staff to handle the large amount of business that they are clearly getting. That would be a win-win for everybody.

"This is regarding the homeeverything website AND the following people who work there: Scott, Jamie and Carl.
DO NOT shop here. This store has been absolutely horrendous at customer service and fixing broken products, AND they steal 50 bucks from you for their so-called "in home delivery" when all they do is drop it off broken and leave. We received a broken top rack in our dishwasher and NO ONE has done a thing to fix it, they keep sending canned responses telling us to email pictures to different people, and when we did that, our emails go ignored, and then when you email the main customer service again, they send the exact same canned responses, even when you explain no one responded to the repair issues.
This is the WORST customer service i have EVER DEALT with. Scott "claims" you can email him at anytime, but he ignores almost every email and does nothing to fix the problem, hes actually the one who keeps sending all the canned responses. "
"Ordered an item (dryer) and set up a delivery for a Saturday, even got the confirmation email of the time the day before. So I waited Saturday until the time passed that they said they would be there. I called them but of course they are not open weekends. Monday I called and they said they forgot to put it on the truck, huh, maybe a dryer is too small to notice? OK, I set it up a new delivery for the following Sunday. Although I did not get an email or phone call to confirm delivery or time of day to expect it, it did arrive."

"THIS PLACE IS A RIP-OFF!
On May 29th I purchased a countertop dishwasher from them to have sent to a customer of mine because my normal supplier couldn't supply it. What a disaster!
They held my money for 6 weeks, sent several emails with expected ship dates, none of which ever materialized. Every time I called, I stayed on hold for 20-30 minutes and then of course was lied to again. Finally I got transferred to Simon (ext 316) who is some kind of management there, and he told me my order would ship that day with expedited shipping and he would email me tracking info at that time. Guess what? IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Later that evening, I left him a voicemail and told him I'd call him the next morning. Knowing it wouldn't be a pleasant conversation, he had one of his dolts call and tell me that no, my order didn't ship the day before but it was packed up and ready ship the next day. When asked why it couldn't ship today, the dolt didn't have an answer. I pressed him to take care of the order and ship it today and he put me on hold for a minute, spoke with Simon who told him to tell me that they were cancelling the order and refunding my money. I am a seller and was having this item sent to my customer. Now I have an unhappy customer because of these IDIOTS! They don't deserve to sell another piece of anything! If I could put them out of business, I would!

These idiots have apparently had the gall to write a response to my review of their lack of customer service. This is merely a feeble attempt to snow you readers with more lies. You'll notice that in their rebuttal, they never addressed nor refuted any of the FACTS that I laid out as reasons why why these bozos are not to be trusted. They did however, manage to propagate several more untruths in trying to cover their tracks. For instance, if I am a reseller which he acknowledges, why on Earth would I withhold any address information??? And why would I threaten to cancel the order?? I simply wanted them to deliver it! And that BS about "All we wanted to do was verify the shipping information" is just that. They only called me once about anything and I alluded to that above. I always had to try to run their butts down and ALWAYS had an extended wait on hold. He also states: "there was no response when delivery was attempted", intimating that there was some sort of delivery attempt. There was never an attempt to deliver anything at any time. He's right about one thing though, I wasn't at all nice to them at the end. It should be obvious as to why. I'll stand on every word I wrote. These fools are not to be trusted and naturally they will never get a another dollar my money. If you're smart, you'll do the same.
One more thing, be sure to scroll on down and notice the repeated stories of incompetence. And then all of a sudden, miraculously, the reviews on the top are all 100% positives.

"I was looking to purchase a Weber grill for my dad for Father's Day and I came across Homeeverything.com. After finding the site, I didn't search any more because this place had the best prices and free shipping. I used eBillme to pay for it and that did take a few extra days to process the payment from my bank to eBillme and then it transfers over to homeeverything which did make it shipping out a little longer, but as soon as HE got the payment, it was shipped out. During the process, I had questions about things and each time, I talked to Joe S. and he was first class. He answered all the questions I had and helped me out with my price match guarantee when I found a lower price before it shipped out. "I was a bit hesitant to order online, but was eventually talked into it by my son whose made multiple purchases from HE in the past. I called in and got the sales department, whom were very helpful and knowledgeable. They not only guided me through placing the order but finding the correct and best fitting appliances for my new kitchen. I highly recommend HE for anyone looking to purchase home appliances, as HE has become my number 1 store to shop at whenever needed. "I was pleasently surprised when an order I thought was botched homeeverything.com made good on. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was a happy customer. Customer service definitely needs to improve with regards to inventory status and ship times though. They also need a better inventory management system and real time status. That will come as their software technology improves.
All in all, I would rate my experience as positive. They responded very rapidly when I escalated my complaint. "
"I have ordered a gas grill 6 weeks ago with homeeverything. No tax, free shipping and competitive price was the driver for buying with this company. BEWARE of falling into the same trap! Although the item was "on stock" and "to be shipped in 3-5 business days" by the time I ordered, this never happened. Had to email and call multiple times. 3 times I was promised a shipment date, which never happened. And worse. My credit card has been charged the full amount more than a week ago, without shipment. "UPDATED: After this post and message sent to Home Everything a manager from the company did contact me to apologize for the delays and misinformation provided by customer service. The item was shipped and received in good condition.
Absolutely a horrible company to deal with - DO NOT BE FOOLED AS I WAS. For an usually ships in 48 hours item, I called every week for the last 3 weeks and was told that my order would ship "early next week." This was after attempting to email twice with no reply and a useless web login give no status information (don't understand why they even have a status page). Each time I called the hold time was at least 15 minutes. Last week I asked if that was just a standard answer you give or do you have some confirmation. Was told this status came from the agents Vice President. After the item did not ship I called again this evening (4th week) - after holding for 10 minutes the system hung up on me. Guess, it was their time to go home so the switch just disconnected any in queue calls. Tell everyone you know to stay away from these guys. The $150 in savings is certainly not worth completely wrecking your project because they can't deliver."
"I ordered a frigidaire dishwasher from them (order number cho112113) and have a very bad experience. Probably the WORST experience from all my online purchases in my entire life.
I am stuck with a dishwasher with a BIG ding (tennis ball size) on the front door and I cant do nothing about it because they NEVER pick up the phone.
If you are placing an order they will answer the phone quickly but by the time you are calling about the existing order 1-***-***-**** option 2, they just dont answer the damn phone!!
Read the return policy carefully:
1. You have to make sure the package is good when you receive the shipment from UPS.
HOW?? Do you think UPS guy is willing to sit around for 30 min waiting for you to open the big boxes and inspect everything?? They just dropped it off and took off. Once u open the box and find out the appliance get damage you are stucked with 100 pounds appliance!!
2. 24 hour window to return!!
I called UPS once I opened the box on the same day and they told me to call Home everything. I called Homeeverything but they did NOT pick up the phone!! (Try call their number and option 2 for existing order, NO one will answer it!!), so I tried to EMAIL them 2-3 times with pictures etc but NO response!!
24 hour window passed and I kept trying to call and wait for 30 min-an hour on the phone still no result. On 3rd day I received the damaged dishwasher they even had a holiday!! "Sorry we are on vacation" WTH?? I have tried everything I can to reach them and meet their return policy and I have emails to proof.
Be really careful, they dont response to your call after you place your order. Disputing the charge with your CC company wont help either. The citibank dispute department itself is trying to call them due to NO response.
I am giving up, this is just the WORST experience I have purchasing online. The CC told me the only thing I can do is to pay the broken dishwasher and WARN others of this merchant so people wont fall into the same situation.
How they can get 5 star rating is beyond my understanding. If they dont even pick up the phone and work with customers to resolve the issue they dont even deserve 1 star.
I cut my loss of $522.99 for a damaged dishwasher and filed complaint to BBB.

I placed an order for an item, only to get an email after receiving an order confirmation that my item was backordered and that 3-5 days were required for my item to ship. That was the first problem...the expectation for online stores these days is that stock status should be displayed BEFORE ordering. I mean, come on.
So six business days later still no shipment. I called Customer Service only to learn that it would be another week before my item would be received from the manufacturer by HomeEverything. There wasn't any indication of that when I checked my order status. That's the second problem, not keeping customers apprised of the status of their orders.
At that point I didn't give them an opportunity to present me with a third problem and canceled my order. At least that went smoothly.
If you're going to take a chance with this company I strongly suggest calling them to confirm that what you're ordering is in stock.
Based on my experience I wonder about all the glowing reviews on this page; it looks like most of the most positive reviews were made by users registering the day their review was written, and by users who only wrote that one review. Beware...
Note: I subsequently ordered the exact same item, same price, same shipping (free) from another site. This store had the stock status right on the page. My order shipped that same day. HomeEverything, you should look to your competitors to see how it's supposed to be done!"
"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Same story, backordered item that took longer to arrive than they said, and NO UPDATES at all.
When it was damaged, they said that they ordered a replacement part, which they did not. Again, no updates on the replacement part.
Finally, I contact the manufacturer, who made it right.

Since posting this, I was offered $100 off the next purchase from HomeEverything if I removed this review. When I balked at that, they offered $100 to remove the review. They said that the delay was all due to the manufacture, but when I sent the email thread to the manufacture, they said that they were NOT informed. The manufacturer even sent an apology gift.
After reviewing the feedback of this store, I think that they may be padding the positive marks."
