"I was there yesterday and saw a bathroom vanity I liked. Long story short Joe gave me a great discount I repaired the vanity and installed it happy wife happy life. Thank you Joe a true professional. Home depot should be proud of your service. Thank you again."

"Home depot is scamming people of their rental stuff. They said I returned their machine 4 mins late and charged me $50 for it. And next time I returned the mashine they said its 5 mins late and took $80 out $150 deposit. Wow what a scammers!!! Will never buy or rent from them again!"
"My gal went in there today to buy three toilet wax rings, two jumbo and one regular. Then to buy two re-enforced washer hoses.
The employee pointed to the wax rings and walked away. Not asking her, is it a new install? Was new tile just laid, are you replacing an old ring? NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH....left her standing there.
She went to find another guy, ask about the washer hoses....he hands her two 8 ft long hoses and walks away.....really....serious.....how many or you people have ever uses 8 ft .long washer hoses?
HOME DEPOT....you have lost two customers for life....LOWES NOW HAS OUR BUSINESS. IF you don't have the time for us.....we don't have the time for you. Left without purchasing anything and went to Lowes...."
"Went to my local Home Depot in Ridgecrest. They were promoting a new Home Depot card, and were selling it be offering 25% off your store purchase. I accepted the offer, answered a few questions ... and then was told I had "restrictions" on my card and I'm therefore not qualified for the new card? So I asked what the restrictions were ... she said corporate wouldn't tell her, but that I would get a letter in the mail in 7-10 days.
So I went home and called Home Depot Customer Service. I explained what happened at my local Home Depot in Ridgecrest, and the CSR on the phone said she couldn't find any "restrictions" on my card, but she would ask her "team" if I would hold the line for a few minutes. OK.
The CSR comes back on the phone and says yes, apparently there are "restrictions" on my card, and I am not qualified for the new card. I asked what the restrictions are, and the CSR said she couldn't give me details, but that I would get a letter in the mail in 7-10 days.
So I asked, if there are indeed restrictions on my card, why was I never notified of such restrictions? The CSR said she couldn't answer that question. I was pretty frustrated at this point, so I just canceled my card on the spot. Are you sure? the CSR asked me. Yes, I'm sure. May I ask the reason why? the CSR asked me. I said if you don't understand by now, I could never explain it to you."
"Rating is based on my satisfaction with Home Depot and not the product itself, as of this review the unit has been installed but not yet tested however I am very happy with Symmons customer service as you will read below and is why I would recommend Symmons.
The unit arrived missing the 2 dome covers for the diverter and mixing valves which wasnt discovered until the uit was installed. Upon contacting Home Depot to get the issue resolved I was told that I would have to return the unit and get a replacement, when I told the genius in HD customer service that it was already installed, I was told that I was essentially out of luck.
Well you know who is out of luck HD, you, you lost a customer and I will be closing my charge account, I will try my luck at the local HW stores and your competitors. I dont mind paying a bit more for quality products and superior customer service.
I called Symmons and explained the problem to them and in less than 10 minutes I had an order number for the replacement parts they were going to ship out. I have installed Symmons in both of our bathrooms and am very happy with the way they handled this for me.
Just an FYI...I resorted to leaving this true and accurate review of my HD experience on external sites because HD likes to practice censorship and rejects any reviews critical of their poor performance and capabilities.
Bye Bye Home Creepo!"
"Purchased a door in September for my handicap son so he could have access to our back yard. Home depots contact is with home solutions. My doors were installed in December. Manufacture drilled door locks wrong. So gentleman gets done installing he says home depot will contact you about you jel-wen doors, because jel-wen will have to make NEW doors because its there fault. So second week in march jel-wen comes out with new doors only to tell me they will not be able to install them because my door is warped from not properly been installed. EVERYTIME I have contacted home depot they tell me they will look into it and give me a 4-6 week time. I was told i could get a refund if I paid to have the doors that weren't properly installed removed. This has been 7 months and I'm out 2500.00. I have been a customer for 22 years. My first credit card was home depot! I feel like I have been totally taken advantage of with my money and time and I will be driving down the road to Lowes from now on! :(
IF YOU ARE GONNA BUY DOORS FROM HERE "MAKE SURE YOU HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO INSTALL THEM!""
"Ordered an wall oven late Feb. 2018, scheduled for delivery 2 weeks later (March 8th) . I arranged someone to be at my home to receive delivery. No delivery. They eventually called saying delivery would come 4 days later, again arranged someone to be home to receive delivery (March 12th). At 2pm, they called to say it would come between 4 & 6pm. At 4pm they called to outright cancel delivery that day. Told me they will deliver 2 weeks later. No reason given, that's just the way it will be, they say. Totally unacceptable. Called Home Depot to try to arrange better customer service and reliable delivery. Arrogant customer service people refused to help, totally oblivious to customer relations, no cooperation whatsoever. Told my experience to my contractor who was going to install appliance; he has had similar episodes with them and will not recommend Home Depot to customers any longer."
"I purchased an appliance repair part online but didn't receive it so I called Home Depot customer service. Although a confirmation of purchase followed by a shipping confirmation was sent to my email from home depot they told me I did not make any such purchase from them. I tried to tell them I could fax my emails from them confirming my purchase, but they refused and still claimed I did not buy the part. I had proof in hand and would have faxed it to the but they weren't interested. I have my purchase from them on my bank statement and offered to give them that info, but again they said no, that I did not purchase the part from them. I will never buy from them again, I will and would never treat one of my customers with total disdain as they did to me. They took my UPS racking number and claimed my purchase was from someone else, not from them, but I have the purchase and shipping confirmation emailed to me from them in front of me. They also claimed my order number was not one of theirs even though it is on the email from them complete with their logo on it. HRP.

"Purchased Pergo flooring at The Home Depot (Dec 2017) . After delivery to improper address and delivery much later than promised ( I called 3 times and spoke with 2 managers and an assistant who said that they would call back to tell when goods would be delivered, but did not. Material delivery is time sensatibe because good neede to be aclimatized to humidity and temperature. The completed delivery included damaged material and they forgot molding and transitions. HD finally delivered 3 boxes of replacement flooring, and I picked-up missing material because they again forgot to deliver it. (I eventually returned he unused 3 boxes to the store so that they could be removed from my account). An experienced installer began job, but was in a hurry. He installed 1st room. I give him a 3 rating out of 5. He did not reappear. Next other installers began to finish job. They were incompetent and inexperienced. One of the installers complained that the floor was not level. They called their office (Contract installer) who contacted me with a demand that they level the floor at a cost of more than $2300. I wonder if the installers are given a bonus for selling extra, unneeded, work. I refused, and negotiated with the store (Tracy) to have them complete the job because the floor was level (I have a level, the installers did not.) HD said I would have to waive my guarantee rights (I did not agree) , but was unable to get form to me, and installers continued unknowing of HD's demand. The installers continued, clearly unable to install material properly. At one point they walked off the job, because of a dispute with their management, and finally left, the job after 4 days, not completing it. ( I was so happy to be rid of the installers that I gave them a $100 tip. One of the installers brought a US flag to our house and left it inside because he fould it at the dump, and claimed that he was patriotice because he served in Iraq and did not wish to see the Flag disposed of in the dump. The flag was crawling with bugs, but he left it in our home overnight, my wife telling me not to get into a conflict because she was afraid of consequences.). They installed damaged material (corners chipped) though I pointed to extra material that was available (never used). I contracted for its completion elsewhere. The HD installer’s poor installation that could not be remediated remains. I have not experienced the problems caused by not leveling that they predicted. After negotiating, phoning their Atlanta Office (Dominique Nixon (many times) and not gaining a helpful response I went to the store 3 times and after defaulting on appointments they finally sent an inspector to view the job (he tore molding from my wall to verify my complaint that the floor was improperly run up to the edge of the wall, but did, and was not capable of replacing it) HD (Dominique) agreed in writing to compensate me $1000 (Far too little for the problems that they caused. I signed their release but did not receive the $1000. I called Dominique, **** he did not returmy calls. I brought HD to small claims court, they sent an upscale NYC lawyer (D'Amato and Lynch) to defend them. After 2 appearances, the court awarded me $2476.
HD is so hardline that they spent, and lost, many more funds than the $1000, that I had originaly accepted so that the horror of dealing with them would end, even though it did not cover my expenses.
Thie above chronicle is only a small portion of what occured. It soulds like a fairy tale, but in reality is the realization of nightmares occur in our lives."
" live very close to this store and this is the only reason why I visit this store. I have a been Home Depot loyal costumer for over 20 years and I have to say, this store (Biscayne Blvd and 123 is the worse store I have ever visited. Most of the time the items that I want to purchase are either misplace or don't have them .If you need 10 items to complete a project there is a good chance they will only have 8 and this is always. If you can find one someone to help you , the answer is usually "we don't have it" rather than to take the time to look for the item they get rid of you by giving you a simple we don't have it . They usually have one rep for every 3 dept isle. Horrible customer service. It can take 30 minute for someone to assist you and this does not guaranty that the attendant would want to help you. The store usually have only two registers open and the self check out. The lines can be very long I have been in line some times for 30 minutes. Then the last straw they have security on the doors checking receipt against every item you purchase , it makes me feel like I am in some third world country.
I have made attempt to talk to the district manager of this store to bring to light my concerns, since I really like home depot as a company and would like management to know of my concerns but he has never return my calls .
This level of service is highly unusual for Home Depot . This is why I take my time to write this review in hope that this store will make correction ."
"On 2/9/18, during the huge storm storm found that my snow blower no longer worked. Because I already had over a 12" of snow in my driveway, I went to Home Depot to purchase a new one. Because I have a small car, a neighbor with a truck was picking it up for me. I specifically asked multiple times if the oil was in box, because all the other had the oil sitting on top of the box. The sales person assured me it was, the other brands you had to buy it separately. Lie #1. Because I needed an electrical start, I asked if everything I needed was in the box. I was assured that the electrical power cord was in the box. Lie# 2. Got the snow blower home, only to find that no oil was in the box. Went to Home Depot while a neighbor put the snow blower together. Back to Home Depot during the blizzard. Got back only to find that there was no power cord for the electrical start and over 8 pieces were missing! The box had been resealed and sold a new by the store. Lie# 3. Went back to the store the next day regarding all the missing parts and was told they would give me a number to call order them. Was treating very poorly. Finally, I demanded to speak to a store manager and of course none was available. This person told me she would like the item up in the system and take the parts out of another box to give to me and if they didn't have them, she would see if another store had it to do the same. She assured me that this was common practice! Of course it was sold out because we are in the middle of a blizzard!! She then told me I could order the parts and she would give me the number. I asked if I would be charged for the parts and was told yes. I finally told her why should I have to pay for parts the store took out of the box? Begrudgingly, she said she would have some one order the missing parts. I gave her the book that came with the snow blower in which I highlighted all the missing parts for her to xerox. She had to call me at home later that night twice because she kept forgetting the model number, brand, etc. Two days later, called the store. No parts. Multiple calls, no parts. the part place was a 20 minute drive to the store but, when the parts were ordered, they didn't expedite the matter so they went out through regular mail. The parts didn't arrive for 2 weeks, took them over an hour to find the small box in the store because someone had it in an office and no power cord. One star was way to generous for the store's lack of customer service. "
"I ordered a medicine cabinet online. The mirror got broken in shipping. Strike 1. I went to email them that I wanted a replacement. The email they use to contact me is a no reply address so they clearly don't want to make fixing issues easy. Strike 2. I called the 800 number and the automated attendant doesn't understand English. Easily the worst system and all auto answering systems are a huge middle finger to a customer. Strike 3.
Shopping in a Home Depot store has been a generally good experience for me. Their online operation is the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. They should just shut it down, fire the idiot in charge of putting together such a terrible customer support plan, and start from scratch. It is a train wreck."
"HD likes to sell products they can't deliver for whatever reason. I bought Makita flashlights the day they were offered, but HD sent me an email a week later saying the product was out of stock and they would hold my order until a specific date unless I called in.
I called, told them to keep the order open for as long as it takes for them to honor their side of the deal. I got an email today (almost 5 months after I "Bought" the lights) saying the order was cancelled.
Good retailers don't Sell more than they have on hand... That's common sense.

"I am reviewing on behalf of my elderly parents. They purchased a dishwasher and paid for installation, but when it was delivered the guys dumped it on the living room floor and left. This is the third time in less than a year they were taken advantage of by home depot installers. They figured they were easy marks because they are elderly. We won't be purchasing anything else from home depot."
