"I bought Samsung microwave and installed by Livermore home depot. Two days later it broke down. Call HD and they refuse to replace the unit citing that It passed their two day policy. They ask me to call Samsung and get it fix as it is out of their hand after two days. I called Samsung and after two visits they determined the mother board is not good. The tech ask me to call HD demand replacement as it is new unit. I called HD and the manager at the Livemore location arrogantly state that it is their policy after two days they are not responsible. She call call Samsung on my behalf. Up to now almost 3 weeks, the unit was bought to help take care of new born child is till down.
I'm stunt knowing such policy, I probably would not by from them but Costco, or Lowe's. Imaging store does not standby the quality of the product they sell.
Buyer beware of this policy."
"First delivery of the day. But, somehow, he could not cart the washing machine away. So, he said I would get a call and they would come back and pick it up in 2 days. That didn't happen; we got a call from "Last forward mile" telling us we had to call another number to arrange the pick up and that we had to keep the WM in our driveway for as long as 2 weeks. Calls upon calls upon calls -- no one knows anything about anything, they are just the middle man, no one has control over anything, but they are all very sorry for the inconvenience. A total joke. "
"I called about an hour and a half after placing an online order for a Roomba i7+. I was told that I was outside of the 45 minute cancellation window and to call back in a couple of days to cancel it. Long story short, 4 calls later after getting the run-around each time I was informed by the last rep that I was misinformed by the rest of them. Now I have a product that I have to take the time and effort to drive to a store in order to return it when it easily could have kept from ever being shipped. Never ordering online from Home Depot again. "
"Let me start out this review by saying I'm a disabled veteran living in a camper on a fixed income with my unemployed wife. The day after Thanksgiving our primary cooking appliance, a convection microwave broke. On November 29th we went to the Home Depot in Kingman Arizona to order a new one. We ordered a Kitchenaid model KMHC319ESS for almost$700. Did I mention a fixed income? Original delivery date was set for December 4th. A few days prior to the delivery date I received a computerized phone call staying that delivery was postponed until December 18. We went to the store and an employee there told us they didn't understand the delay as there were over 80 in available according to their system. Fast forward to the 18th, and delivery is again postponed to December 26th, after Christmas. Did I mention this was our primary cooking appliance? Day after Christmas my wife calls the Home Depot in Kingman Arizona, and they now say delivery postponed until January 2nd. Customer service this time states that according to their system the have over 120 available for shipment. We have been without our primary cooking appliance for over a month. I am telling anybody and everybody who's will listen, DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THE HOME DEPOT IN KINGMAN ARIZONA.
Thank you. "
"I ordered a desk back in September that was set to ship on a particular day. The day before the desk was to arrive, it still had not shipped so I called HD Customer Service. They informed me then that my item was actually on back order. They could offer no reason as to why I was not informed sooner. I had to cancel the order as I didn't want to wait indefinitely. I figured that was just a mistake on their part and although frustrated, I chalked it up to Covid. Fast forward months later... I ordered a different desk that I had been emailed that it was back in stock! This was the desk I really wanted and my daughter was so excited too! Again, I day before it was scheduled to arrive, I called them and, AGAIN! "Sorry, it is back ordered!" Now I am LIVID! They should have corrected their system after the first debacle but did not! There is absolutely no concern for the customer! No concern at all. They offered 10% off a future purchase. There is no way in Hell that I would ever order from them again!!! I am done with Home Depot "
"Do not order curbside pickup here. I needed two items today. One item was ready for pickup. The other was not despite being available in the store. In the store, I was told I could buy the other item but they couldn't cancel it there because the original order had already started shipping. After getting home, I called Home Depot to cancel. For some reason, they were shipping that item to me and would not cancel the order. "
"I know Home Depot is already reviewed terribly, but I thought I would add to it. My frustration with this company couldn't be higher. That's why I shop Menard's whenever I can.
Anyway, I ordered $20k worth of appliances. A few arrived damaged. Has taken months to get anyone to respond. The HD delivery company, Forward Final Mile, is a sham and an embarrassment. Terrible delivery people, unprofessional service. Part of buying the appliance is delivery included. Delivery team refused to move appliance where it belongs. Contacted Forward Final Mile directly (this is really just Home Depot's brand of delivery, not a private company or anything, so in all actuality this is the same as Home Depot) and they refused to move the appliance.
Had a carpet measure for carpet install. Been trying to get them to email me the measurements with the pricing and products for days, still hasn't arrived. I need my carpet in and I have to drive to the store to get a print out, apparently. Pricing wasn't honest or up front.
At HD, no one knows anything, no one can do anything to help. Just an awful experience top to bottom. Take your business elsewhere, especially if you're a pro. "
"Ordered 2 products online at home depot and only 1 arrived. Box was damaged. Let the fed ex driver know and he said to call home depot. I contacted home depot and told them of the damage and I kept box and all contents for inspection. Home Depot told me it was my job to do an claim with fed ex. I explained I already told the driver and he said to call home depot. At this point home depot said they would not send me the product. So I said I want a refund. They refused to refund me and told me to call my credit card company for a resolution.
I have never run into this before. Even my credit card company was baffeled. I called again to home depot hoping I just got someone that didnt know what they were doing. I got the same answer from another agent.
I am writing this to make everyone aware if you get a partial shipment do not expect them to send the product or refund it. BUYER BEWARE."
"Perfect for my use. I had an arrow stapler that I retired and got a new one."
"I ordered a 60 in. Angel Decoration with LED Lights from Home Depot online. The web page and my order indicate the item should have LED lights on it. I even went as far as contacting the manufacturer to verify and they confirmed it should come with LED lights. Lo and behold, when the item was delivered to my house, a sticker on the outside said INCANDESCENT lights! I opened it and checked and tested it and it is indeed INCANDESCENT lights, not LEDs. I spoke to Home Depot and their solution is to return it and reorder it. But they can't guarantee I would get it with LEDs! Evidently the incandescent model is last year's or earlier stock and the part number is the same and they have not updated their website to reflect that they are out of the LED model and will substitute remaining incandescent stock to fulfill orders. This is not a way to make happy customers. If I could give them zero stars I would! "
"Shout out to Zintia -an employee at the Home Depot in Key West. We interacted with her last week while we were shopping. She is a huge asset to the company. She was energetic and helpful. She was looking for problems and solving them fast. I would hire her to work for my company in a heartbeat!"
"I ordered some tile and i got the tile on time, but a few were broken. Customer service was just mediocre. "
"I ordered from HD and the product arrived filthy and damaged. I communicated this via text to their customer non-service number and got little support. Best they could do is reorder and make me wait another 10 days. They refused to expedite shipping. I won't order from HD again."
"Placed order online for 60 deck boards on July 3rd ($890 was charged to my card). I thought I was ordering from my local Home Depot. Turns out the order was farmed out to a store 45 minutes away (more on that later). The order was delayed several times (COVID, shortage of wood, etc. ... I was being patient). Each time I called (waited on hold for 30+ minutes) to be told we haven't received a shipment...expecting one within the next 2 weeks. 2 weeks past and order was pushed out another 2 weeks. At one point a manager refunded $60 as a courtesy for my inconvenience (nice gesture). After 3 months, I was told (after sitting on hold again for 30+ minutes) that they hadn't received any of these deck boards since June...and was told I shouldn't have been able to place on online order for wood they didn't have. A few days later, I was in my local Home Depot and low and behold, there were 100+ deck boards (now 65% more expensive than when I ordered them in July). I call the Home Depot 45 minutes away and say "what the heck" and they said I should cancel the order and buy them from my local Home Depot. I said no...not at $7 more a board ($420 increase in cost). He said the local Home Depot "should" match the original price...I wanted something in writing and he put me on hold for a manager who never picked up (waited another 15 minutes). Decided to go to my local Home Depot and see if they would match the original price...THEY DID. I bought the wood from them. All I needed to do now was cancel my online order ... turns out you can't do that without "talking" to someone (not another 30+ min on hold)...so I texted them instead and had a very nice person cancel my order. However, she couldn't refund my money to my credit card and said I had to go to the Home Depot that was to fill the order (45 min away) ... I said that was crazy and she agreed, but there was "nothing" she could do. She suggested I call the Home Depot and see if they could address the issue without me having to drive 45 min to / and 45 min from this store. I reluctantly called (only sat on hold 10 minutes this time) and was told that even though the $60 was refunded on my card, the remaining $830 could only be refunded in cash which meant I had to go to the store. I called BS, but it was fruitless to argue with them. Soooo...I drove the 45 min to this store and waited in line for 15 min before talking to someone at the service desk. This person was helpful, but was concerned there wasn't enough cash in the register(s) to cover my $830 refund. A manager was called who said it was "weird" that they could only refund me in cash. He did "something" and low and behold they refunded the $830 to my card. UGGGGHHHH...I drove for 1.5 hrs spent 20 min in the store to get money put back on my card that could have been taken care of over the phone...UGGGHHHH...just a horrible experience all around. I would say switch to Lowe's, but they are no better. Ok...I feel better now."
"Do not buy any refrigerator from Home Depot will take you one months to fix in case you have a problem I bought insurance service is horrible don’t buy any Lg refrigerator Not Reliable"
