"Ordered a new boiler on Jan 13th. website and sales rep assured me it was in stock and would ship in 3 days. WRONG!!! After numerous calls to customer service and rep, put on hold, ignored, cut-off,etc., finally recieved order 33 days later. Need to purchase 4 more in next 2 years, will NOT be from Home Perfect."

"These people are the worst that I have ever dealt with. They took my order and sent an email stating that the product was "IN STOCK" and that it could take up to 3 weeks for delivery. Five days before the 3 weeks was up, I called to see if the product was on schedule, only to be told that it was on back order and could take from 3 to 6 weeks to be delivered. The person that I talked to asked if he could check to see if a unit was available in a wharehouse close to me so that it could be delivered on the original schedule. When I called him back the next day he told me that my unit had shipped and would be another 3 weeks before delivery. I had already scheduled a contractor to do the installation and now had to pay for the change in schedule, so I asked to cancel the order so I could buy a replacement locally. I was then told that I could not cancel because the unit had already shipped. I found out that the people I was talking to were located in INDIA and were subcontractors, not even employees of Home Perfect.

These people cost me more money than if I had purchased the most costly alternative locally!

"I am a homeowner who decided to order a General Aire steam humidifier and install it myself. I have no HVAC expertise and, of course, was advised by my usual HVAC supplier not to attempt this. Sorry, fellas, but the potential saving was too attractive to resist.

Home Perfect and General Aire did everything I could have hoped for - good price, excellent" hand-holding" by a customer service rep (Jonathan) to be sure I had the right model humidifier for my geographical area and residence size, correct installation kit, etc. The order was received promptly, with accurate order tracking at the website (including a short period where the product was sold-out).

The installation is complete and the system appears to be operating perfectly.

"RUN, do not walk away. Do NOT be tempted by the price, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I ordered an expensive ($700) Toto faucet. They sent me either a reject from someone else, or a factory reject. The item was repackaged, the box was opened, fingerprints were everywhere, and the chrome was pitted. Definitely substandard goods.

Unlike other QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE retailers, they gave me a big hassle, and took their sweet time answering emails, never responded to voicemails, eventually issued an RGA, and finally processing a refund only after AMEX stepped in. PATHETIC. I would NEVER do business with these people again. They are the absolute epitome of the worst of the web. They would fail on EBAY or Amazon. Hideous, just absolute hideous experience.

I reordered the faucet from build.com. The faucet came to me quickly, and was flawless in the manufacturer's packaging.

"NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT WHEN ORDERING, BUT DIDNT FIT RIGHT IN SINK. SPEAKING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN RETURNING ITEM IS DIFFERENT STORY. "Terrible customer service. My items were tagged with a 2-4 week leadtime on their website. Took 6 weeks to get to their warehouse, then they lost it - 2 weeks later they found it and shipped. I spoke with them daily for 3 weeks. They always promised to call back with an update and never did. It was always on me to get in touch with them. Avoid at all costs!"
