"If you’re looking for an honest review, look no further. I placed my order on 1.10.12 at around 10 in the evening. I quickly received an order confirmation showing that I had been billed $355.50 with a lead time of 1-2 days. Shortly after I received an e-mail showing my status update: item ordered, quantity and IN STOCK. So I let everything run its course and when the next week had come and I realized that I had not received a tracking number I called. I was connected with the customer service group and was told that my item was actually not in stock and it would be 2-3 weeks before it would be in, once in I would receive a tracking number via e-mail. Not thinking anything of it I let it take its course again. We're now into February and I still had not received an e-mail, call, nothing. So I call again and am connected back to the customer service group. I tell them that I'm disappointed that I have not gotten any type of e-mail concerning my product and that I am getting to the point that I need my item. I was told, by a frustrated customer service rep., that my item had come in and was damaged so it had to be reordered and would take another 2-3 weeks to arrive. I told him that this was the second time that I had called and didn’t feel like I was being told the truth. He tried to assure me that everything looked as though it would be coming in in just a couple of weeks and that they try and tell the customer as much information as possible and that is why he disclosed to me that my item was still backordered. And if you are reading carefully you did read correctly. In the middle of this call he changed the reason that my order was still not shipped. I hung up and waited a couple of days and called back. I called the new order number this time and went through the whole process as to how long it would take to ship and if the item was in stock. The sales rep. told me that the unit was in stock and that it is scheduled to ship in 1-2 days, same as the website when I ordered. So I asked if they had recently gotten a shipment of the item in because I had been waiting for almost a month and had not received my shipment. There seemed to be sudden panic in the voice and they immediately got upset and would not listen to me, only stating that I needed to talk to customer service. Once transferred to customer service I went through the same old song and dance just to be told this time that my item was still out 2-3 weeks. This time I asked for the manager and 20 minutes later, which was probably him hoping I would hang-up, I finally got to talk to him. So I told him the story about waiting almost a month and that I was lied to by one of his customer service personnel and I wanted answers to my products whereabouts. He put me on hold (15 min) while he called the manufacturer, when he returned he told me that the manufacturer has estimated the shipment as being delivered within 2 weeks, supposedly this past Wednesday, 02.22.12. I decided to do some research of my own, and since the product I order is a product that I specify for work I have a direct line to the manufacturer. Before you say, Well why didn’t you just get it from them, I was going to but I couldn’t beat the $250+ price difference from Home Perfect. So I called my rep. and asked him what the lead time was for my particular product and he told me that it was in stock and would ship the next day, however, they don’t sell to individuals but I could call a local rep and have one ordered. I also asked him to check on the status of the client, Home Perfect, and see if they had any pending orders. Not disclosing any information about the client, he said that he did not see them in the computer or even see them as a customer with the ability to order. So here we are today (02.24.12), I just called this afternoon and spoke to another customer service rep. and was told, go ahead and guess, my item will be here the first week of March. Needless to say I’m getting ready to call again and cancel my order. If I were you I would think twice about ordering from this company. In my opinion the only reason they have a 5.x out of 10 rating on this site is due to the customer service reps probably logging on between callers to make up phony reviews. If worse comes to worse and I don’t get all my money back it looks like small claims court will be my next stop. "

"I found shopping with home perfect to be pleasant. The only problem I had has been mentioned by others. I was looking for a Kohler faucet to match one I have in my kitchen. Browsing for it by brand and characteristics didn't find it. I was getting ready to order it from another site when I decided to search for it at home perfect by Kohler product number. This brought it up instantly. Home perfect needs to do some work on their search filters."

"Horrible, horrible, horrible. Botched order, rude and dishonest customer service, wrong item shipped, took 6 months to get refund. Horrible. I had to talk to the manufacturer directly to get the order corrected and they said they wouldn't even deal with Home Perfect anymore, they must be getting their product from a secondary source. "

" BEWARE OF THIS RIPOFF COMPANY. I called and got prices and gave them my credit card information so I could just call them and tell them if I wanted Item and they put order in before I called them back. I called them 20 minutes after talking to them.
AND, You better make sure you won't need to return anything you order.
NO MATTER WHAT! THEY CHARGE a 25% RESTOCKING CHARGE AND the freight,
They are nothing but a phone room with no inventory. That is why they won't take any returns.

"The Blanco kitchen sink I wanted was listed on Home Perfect's site as being in stock. I called Home Perfect to make sure it was actually in stock and was told "Yes." I ordered the sink on 2/14/12 and immediately received a confirmation email. Later that day I received another email saying that the sink had shipped. The sink was delivered on 2/17/12 in perfect condition. I am most pleased with Home Perfect's great prices and great service."

"The customer service is not good. I made a mistake on my order, which was placed on Saturday and emailed them within the hour of the mistake. I didn't get a reply until Monday afternoon saying that it was too late to change the order, which is BS. I am not going to use them again. Now I have to send the extra valve back. They could have easily redid the order, which other merchants have done for me when contacting them right away. "

"This is a terrible merchant. Never order from them. I called to check availability of an item and was told it was in stock so I places an order online. An hour later I received an email stating the item was out of stock. I called customer service, who really didn't provide customer service, to cancel and was told my order was cancelled and I would receive an email within 24hr stating that it was cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were busy, sorry. I never received one so I called back. The second representative said yes it was cancelled, but a day later, still no confirmation. I called again only to hold for 20 minutes without anyone picking up the call. These people have zero customer service. I will never order from them and will tell everyone I know to avoid them as well."

"If you are hesitating about ordering from Home Perfect, PLEASE read this first. I ordered more than $2000 worth of merchandise prior to reading reviews on this store. Then after reading some of the negative reviews on HP on this and other websites, I too was very nervous since I had ordered several fragile lighting fixtures that were going to travel thousands of miles to CA. I placed my order over the phone with Christy, the sales manager who did admit that the items were not "in stock" (mentioned by others) but would be ordered from the manufacturer which would take 1-2 weeks, then the shipment would be sent to me. She gave me her direct extension. I made several follow up phone calls starting 9 days after I placed the order to determine shipping status. She did respond to her # and did follow up with emails regarding status update within the same day. I made the mistake once of calling the gen # and yes, you are connected to someone foreign who is not able to help very much. I am happy to say I did receive the entire shipment exactly as promised, 16 days from date of purchase. One negative is that I did not receive an email stating that the shipment had been shipped so it was a pleasant surprise to have show up at my door. Fortunately, there was no damage so I can not comment on how HP would handle it if there were issues. Overall I was pleased with my experience especially since I must have saved at least $1000 ordering though them rather than a local store. They really do have low prices. So although HP may not have the item immediately ready for shipment and could improve on communicating order status thru emails, they came through for me and I would probably order from them again. I would recommend you call directly and order from a sales rep for more direct contact. Thanks Christy!"

"Absolutely Fantastic. I ordered 2 items, a medicine cabinet and a faucet. The cabinet arrived in Less than 24 hrs! and the faucet arrived in 3 days. The items were well packed so there was no damage. The sales person, Christy, was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. The prices were good also. I will definitely shop here again."

"A friend recommended using these guys. I needed a new kitchen sink and they had the best price around. Called in and placed the order right away. 2 days later I got the sink but it seems to be cracked. Called their returns the department whom helped with the return. Even though this put our remodeling on hold it was well worth it when we got a brand new sink weeks later. "
