I placed my order on the phone, asked that all merchandise be consolidated for one delivery, which the phone rep Christy agreed to do. instead, three of the 8 items were delivered as separate shipments by Fed Ex... the rest of the items were delivered by a delivery service who failed to show up on two consecutive days. two full days waiting for a scheduled delivery that never came, without even a phone call... three trips to Fed Ex local office to pick up the other items... all I got was a "sorry..." all that trouble was hardly worth the perhaps 5% or 6% lower prices... "I placed an order through Homeperfect on October 25th. On November 2, realizing that I had never received it, I called their customer service. I was told that my order had not shipped yet because one of the two items I ordered was on backorder and would not arrive for three weeks. I asked them to cancel the item that was unavailable and ship the second item immediately. The rep I spoke to do promised to do this.
On November 7th, still wondering where my order was, I called them again. This time I was told that the second item was damaged, so they just cancelled my order. Both times they claimed to have emailed me - first, telling me that the item was backordered and unavailable, and second, telling me that my entire order was cancelled - but I never received these emails. I did received other emails about order and payment confirmation, however. Had I not thought to call them, I would have never even realized that my order had been cancelled.
It is also worth noting that the operator informed me that there is an extra fee charged to all orders under $99. This fee is just added into the shipping and handling charge, so it it not evident that it is a separate fee based on order size. In my opinion, this is also a deceptive practice."

"Do not buy from these people! It is so interesting that they respond to customer issues on this forum but you can't reach anyone when you call their 888 number. I like many others have found out the hard way, these people mislead. I placed a call to verify an item was in stock and was told it was. I examined their website and it also said the item was in stock. After I placed the order and paid for the item in full I receive an email stating the order "has changed to processed." Then nothing. So I called today as any concerned consumer would and my call was routed to someone in India. I waited on hold for 20 minutes before someone finally answered. I was told the item I ordered was backlogged and unavailable until the end of the month. This despite their website displaying the item was in stock, a sale rep that confirmed the item was in stock and finally an email that states the item is in stock. So needless to say I am extremely frustrated and angry. I tell the rep in India I want to cancel the order and I want my money back, he puts me on hold again and never returns. My call is then routed to somone else. I immediately called Home Imperfect's (888) number, this time pressing a different option and got one of their sales reps again. I tell him what happened and I'm told the only way to cancel an order and receive my money back is to send an email to ****@****. Are you kidding me??? Thankfully I paid for this with PayPal. I have filed a dispute and soon enough I will get my money back.
