Received another email shortly stating my item had shipped and a FedEx # was provided. Faucet arrived on Monday after I ordered just the Thursday before! "I've ordered from HomePerfect a few times, most orders being $1000+. Their prices are great, but their customer service makes the prices not worth it.
If you never need to get a damaged part replaced or return something, you'll be ok. But if you ever have to interact with customer service, look out. I had a damaged Cifial drain, damaged in such a way that you wouldn't notice it until you went to install it. Cifial says you have to go through the retailer; Home Perfect says it's Cifial's problem. So, after everything's installed, all Home Perfect can offer is to have the _whole_ faucet assembly shipped back, wait for a replacement, and install the whole thing again. Rotten customer service. I guess you get what you pay for."
"I ordered a Toto toilet from Home Perfect and it arrived shattered. I took a picture of the pieces inside the shipping box, but didn't open the toilet box because I didn't want to clean up more pieces of toilet. Home perfect wanted me to open the shatter toilet box for more proof that the toilet is broken and take a better picture of the outside shipping box. Funny thing is neither box is damaged so I am not sure how the toilet got broken. They don't want to help me with an exchange so I am filing a charge back with Visa. I will make my future purchases from a local store and pay more. I guess that is what I get for picking an online retailer based on price."

"We were building a new home and they had the Moen bath hardware I wanted and the grab bars we needed at a better overall total price than virtually anyone else. I ordered and paid back in mid-July and received an email 2 days later indicating that "some items are back-ordered" -- turned out that EVERY item was back-ordered but they said that everything would be shipped within 3 weeks. Wrong. Three weeks later, I called to ask where everything was and they were telling me that they only had half of the items in-hand, that the rest wouldn't come until the end of the first week of September. We were supposed to have closed on the house by then. I asked them to ship the grab bars and cancel everything else since they had those supposedly ready to ship. They emailed back that, since the grab bars were valued at less than $100 they would have to ship several of the other bath hardware items to reach the $100 threshold. Those grab bars were worth over $200 and their rep was asking ME how much I paid for them! Really?! They said they were shipping them the next day after I got them to calculate the value correctly so I canceled everything else and waited for the grab bars. And waited, and waited. They didn't ever ship them -- just bald-faced lied about it. I called on the 28th and told them to cancel the entire thing. They argued. I insisted. Here we are on September 21 and I still have not received the credit. Called them again -- got a different person. He told me everything had shipped and that I wasn't owed anything. I explained AGAIN to HIM that I had canceled everything and wanted my money back NOW. Put me on hold again. Came back and said that someone in accounting would "take care of the needful" tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath but I AM about to contact the NY state attorney general and the BBB. I'm tired but I'm not going away: I want my $325 back -- I worked hard for it and they're not keeping it by running me around in circles and making English language conversation next to impossible to have. Stay away from these people. They don't have even half-way decent business practices (I don't care WHAT it says in their terms and conditions. It is not right, fair, or equitable and (I'm pretty sure) it's probably illegal (or at least immoral) to take people's money and tell them over and over that stuff is coming, has already been shipped, has been canceled or that a refund has been issued when it hasn't) and I think they intend to come across as the right hand not knowing what the left is doing because it creates confusion and allows them to hide a little longer so that people will get frustrated and exhausted and just give up. That leaves them with more money to play with. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION!"

FYI If the packaging isn't damaged, the delivery company won't wait for you to open it and check contents. I ordered a cast iron sink. It was delivered upside down for safety reasons, so it took me a day to get help to turn it over and inspect it."
"I ordered and did not get a tracking number for 7 days. I called and then got hung up on 8 times. I began trying random extension numbers and got management by luck. I was told my order would be shipped within two days and that he "Alex" would personally call and e-mail me. Three days later I called again - two hang ups three "this mailbox is full" and an hour into it a human from their call center in India who said he was "Richard". He assured me my order had been shipped and that the tracking number would be available in an hour. I told him that tracking numbers were assigned at the time of shipping creation by both UPS and FEDEX and if the item were shipped why couldn't he just give me the number. He became angry and said I am busy you can either call me in an hour and I will give you the tracking number or wait till it gets in your inbox in an hour. He then hung up. After checking my e-mail after an hour and a half I went onto pay-pal's web site and took the first step and lodged a dispute essentially stating my Credit Card has been dinged and I have no product and no tracking number. Within thirty seconds I got an e-mail from Homeperfect stating my order was cancelled - with no refund and new amount of refund mentioned. I got through to the call center in India an hour and 45 minutes later. "Richard" now had a new first name and like all other Home Perfect employees refused to give a last name. I asked for the status of my order and I was told it had been shipped; whenI asked for a tracking number I was put on hold. After ten minutes the representative came back on the line and stated I had cancelled my order and would have to pay all re-stocking and handling fees and then hung up. The order is currently in Paypal's hands and has been escalated to a complaint. Paypal has assured me I will either get a tracking number or a full and complete refund.
If you must order from Homeperfect be very careful and use Paypal or you risk losing everything."
