"I ordered the DaVinci full wall and peninsula desk set from Homelement in November. They were offering the best deal at the time and they were closer to me for shipping so I ordered from them. This was the largest purchase I had made over the internet and had some concern. Homelement did not disappoint me. Communications were great in both e-mail and online order status. Once shipped I was provided additional communication and contacted by their delivery company, who were very nice to speak with, and we arranged a date for delivery. They arrived on time, unloaded all the pieces from the truck (which were very well protected), and brought them into my den for assembly. Overall great experience. I am pleased with my purchase."

"Placing my order was so easy. Customer service answered all my questions and delivery was exactly as they say. Their price beat all others as did their delivery time frame. My dining room table is absolutely beautiful and I'm getting tons of compliments on it. "I have reviewed several online resellers and a local reseller of catalog furniture. Homeland was not the lowest priced, but it was competitive enough. What attracted me is that the quote was the final price I had to pay without getting concerned with shipping costs and other fees. Homeland was the only vendor that had all items I needed from several catalogs, so that I could place a single order with one vendor. I received several deliveries, each time I would get an e-mail with details of shipment and tracking numbers. I also got a phone call when there was a concern about the delivery. Shipment was done by a respectable freight company that did a curb-side delivery. Apparently you can order more service for a little extra. I didn't realize this when I placed an order. It turned out to be a good thing to unpack everything in a garage and keep all the mess out of the house."

"I'm not quite sure how I found the Homelement website but I'm glad I did. I picked out (for the first time ever) a coffee table. My living room is a bit eclectic having antique style end tables with a contemporary couch but when I found the coffee table, I thought that it would complement my 'mixture' of furniture perfectly. It does and while I was a bit apprehensive with ordering something like this on-line, I was pleasantly surprised. Homelement kept me in the loop every step of the way from processing the order through delivery. I was very impressed and would recommend them highly."

"5 STARS ALL THE WAY for my shopping experience - I bought a dining set after shopping around & they were the best price, including WalMart that has the lowest price. The table set came with chairs that were obviously not Yellow in color, but more beige or mustard-like in color, so customer service staff helped by calling the factory to find out why they shipped me the wrong colored chairs. Although the factory insisted these are the correct chairs & the box did show Yellow as the color, I knew they belonged to another table set that has neutral tone table legs & beige chairs. Homelement offered me a $50 discount in what I paid, but, I declined their nice gesture & asked them to discuss this again with the factory as I really wanted the chairs that match the table. Upon contacting the factory again, the factory sent me 2 Yellow chairs THE NEXT DAY BY FEDEX. These chairs had a small flaw in each of their legs & looked like they were returned or slightly used. However, Homelement was able to get me the replacement pieces for the chair legs within a few days only again & actually offered that I keep the original chairs as their gesture for the inconvenience. That really turned things around for me since I considered just settling for the beige chairs, or exchanging them for 2 other different colored chairs, like Red &/or Blue to match the other chairs.

So, although I read the review by the unsatisfied customer 'Pompominsf' of 12/18/12, I had quite a different experience with their customer service staff & compliment their resolution process & have recommended them to several friends who loved my new dining set. "

"DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY This has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered a dresser and two sets of side draws in Sept. When the dresser arrived the top draw and sliders were damaged and not working. ( This was one of the most expensive white dressers on their site) Afte a call I was assured that they would call the manufacturer and it would be remedied with a new draw and someone to fix it. 39 e-mails between this company and myself and it still had not been fixed. Finally last week two months later it is fixed. What made my experience terrible was the fact that everytime I wrote an e-mail saying no-one had dealt with this or no-one had called me I was told it would be handled immediately and to expect an e-mail or call later that day or the following day. On each occasion this was not done and I had to call back or send yet another e-mail. Its the typical " the check is in the mail scenario" I was left to believe that all this company wanted to do was not fix this problem since their actions and words did not match. I do not expect miracles and understand a certain wait but this was a pure lack of both professionalism and customer care. Interestingly enough it was a try out with this company and now they have lost my business forever.I own many vacation rentals that need furnishings all the time and I will not give this company one more order because of the continual ( not just once) put off I was given. They could have a product for half the price of someone else and I would still not order from them.
I understand that things go right most of the time but it is when something needs fixing that distinguishes a company I want to deal with or not deal with."
