"The item arrived in a timely manner, however, the shelves were missing. And at this time I still don't have my shelves. I've needed to make several follow-up calls and now I'm promised one shelf in a week or so & the other shelf in January 2013. Good prices--but is it really? If you need to spend so much time getting all the parts to an item?

It's not so much the time to get the shelves or that they're out of stock. That part is not your fault. It's the lack of communication and follow-through."

The quality of the furniture itself wasn't as good as I had hoped for; some paint chips and scratches. Even though it's an L-shape office unit it's meant to be put into a corner since the backsides of the file cabinets are unfinished; but that wasn't my plan and it's not shown that way online. "I ordered Coaster office furniture from Homelement. I was pleased with the quality and the price. I paid a little extra for inside placement, which was well worth it (I ordered over 800 lbs of furniture). I'm glad inside shipping was available, but I wish it had been part of the original order form, rather than having to contact them and order that service separately.

Additionally, I wish the shipment-tracking service had been more thorough. I received a tracking number for the original freight company, but then my shipment was transferred and I wasn't sent any information about the new shipper. It worked out fine in the end, and I'm happy with my furniture, but it made me nervous to not know where my shipment was or when it would arrive after I had spent so much money. Overall, it took about three weeks from the time I placed my order to the time my furniture arrived. "

"So far I've been thrilled with the service with the info gathered by phone, and in the delivery. My furniture was delivered to a warehouse, and has been in-holding til I can
deliver it to my client. I was unable to inspect it during this process, because had we unpackaged it at delivery time, I would have lost my liability protection within the warehouse facility.
I am praying that if there is indeed damage or defects once it is unwrapped, that HomeElement will stand behind their warranty, regardless of the time frame."

However, it was frustrating that the shipping of our order became delayed for a week because Homelement was unable to communicate with the manufacturer due to a computer problem. Although I understand that these things happen, Homelement did not send me ONE update about the situation; rather, I had to contact THEM daily to find out what was going on with my order.

"I placed order for dinning table, and tooked 3 months to delivery with all excuses possible that you can imagine, so after 3 months finally they no delivery to my house, they drop bunch of box, no even upstairs, I mean Hello, they should at list delivery inside you home, not happen with Homelement, is like buy something from IKEA. By the way quality is the same, tip material from china, and I do pay over $1500 for that crap, yes yes they gave to me 5% for all the mistakes and because take so long, after I open all the box and set up by myself I saw many scratches in the table and chair, anyway...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I try to call and ask for anything, like another discount or something to fix, and they send couple special pens to help hide the scratches, NOT WORKED AT ALL!!!
and gave 50 dollars discount, and worst part is they charge again in my credcard the amount with $50 less, but no refund the first charge, took me another 10 days to realize 2 charges and no refund, I called again and they said that I should send a copy of my statement to prove both charges...Really???? anyway after another couple days they finally refund...........worst worst worst experience ever...............I will never buy again from then, just share my experience.
