"The directions were absolutely ridiculous. There were no written directions, just small pictures with arrows. Also, the small parts were not labelled so we ended up having to take the entire 6 drawer dresser apart TWICE because we had missed some tiny step. When we finally did get the entire dresser together, The 6 drawers did not fit in because they were different sizes (they were all supposed to be the same). We finally pieced them in like a puzzle, but they still don't slide well both because of the size and the fact that they don't have a "track" system, but rather a rubber piece that requires me to pull and push with force each time I open my drawers. Extremely dissatisfied."

"Very pleased with my kitchen table and chair set. I was concerned purchasing furniture without checking it out personally and hunted for a similar product in our stores to no avail. I finally took the risk and ordered the table and upgraded to swivel stools. I'm very happy with the quality and look. These are solid heavy pieces, not flimsy and cheap looking (or feeling). Only downside - assembly was a pain as white glove service was not available. Pleasant surprise, delivery was not curbside as expected, rather, the boxes were brought into my home. Note, the wood color is odd - tan with a hint of olive. I love it but it is something to be aware of."

"This small sofa works great in the entrance area to our condo. It is a beautiful color, almost a burnt orange. It was easy to assemble, although it took two of us to attach the back.
We paid the extra money for the delivery to be brought up to our door and they took away all the mess. Worth the money.

"I am very skeptical myself when ordering online, I look for all the reasons why I shouldn't instead of why I should.never the less I saw a sectional that I really like and ordered it from homelemnt feb 23rd...order received...FEb 24th prcessing--processing--processing---march 3rd heard nothing, so I call....I was told that an email had been sent feb 28th to me with a shipping date of march 6. I told her that I didnt get that email and asked if she could resend the email for my records she said she would but I have yet to receive it(not a good look).... so I'm gonna wait till March 6th and see if what they told me holds true. I was told I would have my sectional in 2weeks, lets see if that holds true. so I will be keeping you informed.OK so I recieved my sectional in the 2weeks (by friday march 9, 2012)time frame. However there were staple holes all around the bottom of the sectional I ended up keeping the sectional and arranging the the room a different way than I preferred so that I can hide the holes. I have yet to talk to a homelement sale person because they are closed on weekends today saturday march 10, 2012. I will keep you informed of how well they handle the situation, oh and I have pictures and even wrote the issues on the delivery form I had to sign, I even have pics of the delivery guy who also was looking at the holes whom also suggested I write it on the form...so we shall see how this works out. A partial refund of some amount should be offered for the damages, I think.so last and final update. After all the emailing, Joe B. resolved my issues with the damaged section quickly and efficiently. I would most certainly show with them again. "

"Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the Hanna corner office furniture. The pieces are beautiful and sturdy, and the workmanship is excellent. I ordered my furniture on the first of February and received it in excellent condition on February 27th. Each piece was packed individually with plenty of padding to protect it. Although some of the boxes did show a few minor dents, there was not a mark on any of the pieces.

I've read some reviews regarding disparity between the color in the photos and the actual color of the pieces, but I use dual monitors and the shading was slightly different in the photo on each monitor so I know that you cannot rely on an internet photo to be exact. I felt the color of the pieces came very close to what I saw on my computer screens, although the CPU cabinet I received is a slightly different shade of white than other cabinets and counter tops - more of a creamy, almost ivory, color. This piece was labeled with a 2007 manufacture date where the others show a date of October 2011, so I believe the difference in color is likely due to age. There is also a tiny difference in diameter and shape of the feet for that piece compared to the rest. These differences might be noticeable if the piece were placed directly next to one of the other cabinets, but I am using this piece as a stand for a small aquarium and have it against a wall separate from the desk arrangement. The most obvious difference between this piece and the others is the drawer front, which is flat where the drawer fronts on the other cabinets are recessed. THIS IS CLEAR FROM THE PHOTO ON THE WEBSITE, but it was something I overlooked. Again, because of my arrangement of the pieces this is not an issue for me, but had I noted this difference when I was ordering, I probably would have chosen another of the 2 or 3 drawer cabinets instead.

My only real disappointment, and the reason I can't give 5 stars, is with the backs of the pieces. Although the photo shows the desk arranged so that the backs of two cabinets face out into a room, it would not be practical to do so as the backs are unfinished MDF or fiber board, with labels and "Made in Malaysia" date stamps clearly visible. As my intent was to have an arrangement similar to the one shown in the photo, I searched the internet before ordering for any photos of the backs or any reviews that mentioned them. I was unsuccessful (which should have given me a clue, but I am nothing if not an optimist) so I phoned Homelement and asked if the person I was speaking to was familiar with the Hanna Corner Office furniture. She stated that she was very familiar, and when I asked if/how the backs were finished, I was assured that the backs were painted and finished just like the fronts/sides as visible in the photo. This was clearly not the case, so I will have to put my creative hat on if I want to go with my original planned arrangement.

All that being said, I would recommend the Hanna modular office pieces and believe that, armed with the details to make informed decisions on the pieces you choose, you will be very happy with this product."

"Recently I ordered 6 Delray Metal non-swivel counter stools by Hilldale. Initially I called to ask some questions regarding the quality - would these stools hold up to heavy daily use of farm men. I was assured that Hilldale is a very good company and the stools would hold up just fine. I explained that I needed 6 but was considering ordering just one to start with to be sure they were what I wanted. The lady I spoke with checked the inventory of the Delray stools to be sure I could do this without fear of them selling out before I ordered the remaining 5. The first stool came in FIVE days!!! I was thrilled! It was exactly what we were looking for and was confident they would hold up to the daily use of our family. I immediately ordered the other 5 which came in 5 days as well. All arrived in perfect order. The packaging of the stools was wonderful, keeping the stools mark free. The assembly of the stools was simple but secure. My husband used a power tool to speed up the assembly process. We are enjoying our new stools very much. I was so impressed with Homelement that I plan to order other furniture from them in the future. A friend of mine has just remodeled her home and I encouraged her to look at Homelement.
